There is no Turkish ROM. There has never been a Turkish ROM for HTC devices.

The alternative language must been in the qwerty keyboard?? There cant be a ROM that you can sellect between two language!
Never heard in wm history of a turkish rom, is there a screenshot of the rom??

No Omega, what he means is, while you are buying the device, the seller asks you if you want one with English ROM, or one with Turkish ROM.

So which rom he take? That is offcourse good news if there is this language, because I want a finnish rom

I have seen the one from TEKNOSA. When you open the device for the first time, the device ask in which language you want to use. Turkish or english.
After you select one language, it begins with setup of language and programs (opera, ..., ...)

The language is a choice you make. I personnally speak 3 languages (french, dutch and english) but I prefer always to use english for softwares.
Just because they are actually originally made in english and then translated. This means you'll get the most precise meaning in an english rom. Sometimes it's translated like it shouldn't be, because one word could be a complete sentence in an other language, and this would mess up the alignment.

Just go to http://www.htc.com/tr/ and select support. Select Touch Diamond as product and you'll get the link below which will give a Turkish ROM (Turkcell branded, as far as I remember)...

Samsung i780 Help Needed with dutch image

Hi all. I searched the whole forum which is very nice and helpfull but i still can't find what i really need.
Well i recently flashed my i780 from wm6 to wm6.1 but now i am having troubles with my wifi. Everything works except my email and live messenger. It automatically connects through gprs. Hate it. Now i want to flash my phone back to original state. With dutch language that is. But i just can't seem to find the right img or eboot or bin file or whatever it is i need.
All i know is that i need to get the phone back to dutch so i think i need an image file. Am i correct and can some1 tell me what i need. What rom do i need to get the phone back to original state with wm6.0 and the dutch language. Every rom i install is in english.

At this moment there is no flashable Dutch i780 ROM which is complete. There is one forummember (i think knights191) who recompiled a Dutch i780 ROM, but it has no connections tab in settings. The official WM 6.1 ROM for the i780 should be released very soon by Samsung (some sources say it is possible to have your device upgraded to a Dutch WM 6.1 by sending it to a certain company in the Netherlands, but nobody has actually done this already.) I advise you to follow the i780 thread in the Dutch tweakers.net forum here because if a flashable Dutch ROM is released you should be able to find it there.

I just read the company Solid Vision doesn't have the Dutch WM 6.1 ROM, just a WM 6.0 ROM

ThnQ 4 the helpfull link of the forum. I am checking it out at the moment.
As for Solid vision i know where they are. about a 15min drive from my work so i can always do a driveby

Is there anyone that made a backup of a dutch rom in the meantime? A compleet image file so not the bin file that will only flash the pda?

smoothnick, ik zou toch ff naar solidvision gaan.. dan is die binnen 1 dag klaar.
en heb je een H1 versie.. en kun je ons uit de droom helpen of er nu een wm 6.1 release is
als je even googled op de testi.reg / testi.rar vind je een file om je wlm weer werkend te kunnen krijgen

The tabs in the control panel can be made available through the registry I think some keys are missing in this rom then.

QWERTZ keyboard but french T9 and french keyboard

Hi everybody,
I live in the french part of Switzerland ... and here, we use a french keyboard with QWERTZ keys, but french accents (éàè...). It's not the same like in France where they have AZERTY keyboard !!!
I'm looking for a development (.cab or changing the registry keys) which can change the keyboard in QWERTZ (almost like german one, but with french accents not with german !!) and to complicate this with french T9 system.
Does anyone have a solution for me ?

I have the solution. (in french sorry).
Demarer > Parametres > Saisie.
Mode: AZERTY complet.
Option: Langue: Allemand
AZERTY devient QWERTZ.
Desactiver le parametre T9, l'othographe est maintenant en allemand.
Salutations.

Ce que l'on veux c'est le clavier Quertz et le T9 Français. D'où notre problème...

It's the PQwertyxxxx.txt files that determines the keyboard layout.
So you will ned to modify the PQwerty0dxx.txt for the french language so the the keyboard layout fit what you want.
QYu can compare with the German one and then at least you'll have the full keyboard as what you want.
If you want the landscabe one as well the you have to do it for the LQwertyxxxx as well

Need German Keyboard Driver for English WM6.5 Rom

Hi Forum,
i updates my Hermes with an WM6.5 Rom in English, normaly, i use German Roms...
but actionly, i dont found an actual German Rom, so i decided, to use an English rom,
but i have the problem that the english keyboard is from the layout different to the german.
i search now a solution, to use my german Keyboard in an english rom.
i dont need T9 Support or other stuff,
can help me someone....
i think for cookers no Problem..
PS: i have tryed to search with German Keyboard driver or stuff like this, but dont found anything, so dont think i dont search and ask without searching before...

I think in Post 7 there ist a german keyboard fix. I use it on TAI's Rom
