Pictures are really good but why don't you create them for landscape mode too?
As I understand you should make them 320x320 with 2 HTC logos.
One of these logos will stay nearly the same place where it placed now (for portrait mode).
The second logo should be placed at the middle of the right side of the picture for a lanscape mode.

Will do. Question though. I can make these very fast and easy, but to get them to fit just right, what should I save them as? jpg, gif, png? I'm getting a stretched effect when I set them to the background image. Basically I want the logo and any part of the image to show WXACTLY where I put it.

Try making them 240 x 268.

I started this last night when I came across a sweet site full of awesome desktop walls and thought why not make'em for our phones. If anyone has a wall they want converted and the logo added, put it in this thread and I'll convert it for ya. Gonna make some more later and tomorrow. Could you send me the HTC's logo and a "how-to" to insert the logo on the pictures? Can I use a simple program to do this? (cos I don't know how to use a Photoshop or Corel...)
I'd like to know how to do this because I'll not be crazy to asking you to convert all this pics on .zip files for me...
I resized a lot of pics that I have. If you want, I can upload all of them (more than 1k). I selected some and uploaded (more than 100). Take a look to know if you like. Now, I really don't know what pic I'll use for my new splash screen...

Here's how I lifted the logo to use. I opened an image with the logo already on it, used the magic wand item to highlight each letter, then copy the letters one at a time and paste them on a blank bankground and save it as a png file so when you copy it later to paste onto another image it'll retain the transparency.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7. Work with a bmp or png format, and once your final screen is finished, save it as a jpg to drop the file size. You don't have to save as a jpg, but it saves space.

Yep, I instaled Photoshop CS2 9. I don't have any idea how I can use a lot of the tools it has, but I could create a splash screen for Pro Black 2.5. I'll change a little, but its done...

Hi I am new and just got my HD, I have installed the cab files but am unable to get them to display on the TF3D screen?

GLAD TO KNOW MY TUTE HELPED YOU
to make an image for landscape just do the whole provedure in my tute n FINALLY rename the three manila files to
682089bb_manila-first part of landscape image
6832a23c_manila-second part of landscape image
6844babd_manila-third part of landscape image
Then just copy them top windows folder.
You can pan and scroll the image in my latest panosidetoside v3.0 by moving up and down on the 10th and 11th tab to move the pic up and down so u can see whicheva part of the image you want to see!!

my only question is if we want to have more than 3 parts, to keep it high resolution... which files can we replace?
i.e. can we have 12 parts of our image inserted, to make a 12 tab panoramic? or are we better off using the background for 12 tabs cab and just inserting the 12 picture parts in one after each other?

Could you make it so it moves with your take control slider please this would make it perfect for me.
also noticed a few bugs such as when i go from landscape to portrait the background of my slider is there. also i can see the icon when i use your slide to unlock it disappears when i poke it though. Other than that its great!

I don't know what I may be doing wrong but I have tried to install both your retractable slider . . slide to unlock . . and your Hyper Fluid on my (Sprint) HTC Touch Pro and all they do is gray out my screen and eliminate my slide all together . . any thoughts?

I use Max Manila 2.519202525 Ultimate - v2.5 ( for latest manila 2.5)
So:
What didn't work?
did you download the rar, unrared it and copied the _manila Files with Total Comander into the Windows Folder and selected overwrite all?
Sorry that there is no cap, but i have no idea how to create cabs. If anyone knows tell me.
