Can anyone recommend a good tasr switcher/closer that actually works on the PDA2K.
I've tried vBaar (used on XDA2) but will not work in 2003SE.
Magic Buttons - great but screws up when the phone is on.
Any suggestions?
Mike
I use Pocket Plus, no problems yet.
wisbar and wisbar advanced are doing great too...
pocket plus seems to make my bluetooth headset to stop working...wisbar advance makes your phone unable to show incoming calls if the phone app is not initialized. I use handy switcher, it's ok.
Try using wisbar advance from www.lakeridgesoftware.com

I use Magic Button and it works ok. I do change it from on to off to get the notifications to work though (but all you have to do it tap/hold the icon).

I use handyswitcher and it is ok. I like to use my device one-handed, however, when I click on close all applications, it resets the phone. Instead I have to go to the phone screen and select close all except active. There is no option to just close the active program. I have mapped handy switcher to one of my hardware keys. If someone has something better where you can map it to a hardware button and close or switch programs let me know.
I use handy switcher and when i chose close all it works fine. No reset.

It does work much better than the previous version, but still doesn't handle screen rotation very well.

As mentioned by other writer, WA hides all phone and signal strength icons. Plus I had trouble receiving incoming ph calls. Chris is working on a PPC phone edition version which I understand is almost ready for Beta testing. SPB Plus 2.2 version is working ok here.

I use SPB Pocket Plus... it isn't freeware, but it is absolutely the best task managing app I've found for the PPC.

Hi Mike,
Just tried this program, it's great speedy program. I am not sure why, but the front in smallmenu comes out quite big (unlike the one in their website). I looked everywhere to see if I can reduce the front size. Any suggestion?

Thanks for that very useful reply! Despite the original posters claims I was trying to gather the opinions of others before I installed the software on my phone.
Clearly you're either new to the internet or have so much money that you can risk your expensive phone by installing unreliable software.
I also use sportypal, whenever i have a time to go cycling, i always keep record on the track with it, and till now i haven't had a problem with it. Plus now there is a newer version 1.0.2.

what do you meen by data package?
This software is very easy to install, you can do it directly from http://www.sportypal.com, The application starts, acquires satellites connectivity, then you hit the “Start” button when you are ready to get moving. When you finish you need to connect to their web site to upload your exercize and that's it.

I believe he's asking if he needs the internet/data package from his carrier in order to use this. I believe the answer is no. The GPS in this software doesn't connect to the internet like google maps does.
Aha I understand, I was thinking about the same. The answer is no, you don't need internet/data package
Love this app, I have been using it as well.

if you want that app and you have root access try this
install xposed an set it up then reboot install appsettings in xposed and select module in xposed (reboot after)
go to appsettings and select the malfunctioning apps and keep changing the dpi value until the app looks good/starts (300~400 should work)
after setting new value go to settings>apps>app of which you changed dpi>force close
this is to apply settings
it works for me 100% of the time
Also, it's "QHD". "qHD" is 960x540. Capital letters matter with electronics specs. Just like your home internet is mb which is a HUGE difference from MB.

Hi,
Last weekend I managed to install iGO Primo into my LG G3. It worsk fine. The version of iGO I'm using is 9.6.29.390522.
I did not have to make any changes in sys.txt. It also supports screen rotations etc...
Good luck

I have a certain problem, maybe you can help. I installed iGO as well, no changes were needed in sys.txt. However, when i enter the app and try to view map in 2D mode i get certain "roads" that are obviously a bug. I tried with different map, the bug remains. Thoughts?

I'm using Sygic atm, it's quite good. iGO has the issue mentioned , plus it runs terribly slow on G3 for some reason. IGO performs way better on my old galaxy S2 than on G3 lol.
I know that, just hope there is some simple way to fix it

Hey, I try Sygic and in my case its inaccurate and show me all ways but one that is best way skips, not just small roots in city but a big ones tooI too. I install igo and yes it has some bugs and it is slower a bit but in my case is best nav for me and most importantly its accurate.

Sygic for Serbia (seeing that you are from Serbia ) is a bit specific. With Sygic, what you get by default are TomTom maps (the ones you get when you press download from the app itself) which are pretty bad. However, using truck maps which are Navteq (iGO uses Navteq maps too) it's pretty much the same then, although map version on iGO is a bit ahead. iGO, unfortunately, works very bad on G3, and is buggy with 2D view as shown in this post.
Yeah...maybe I miss something I try naviteq too but almost same there. I find that Igo is best for me....I dont say Sygic is bad.[emoji1]

iGO is great, the only problem is that it doesn't work as expected on G3, probably due to screen resolution. Hopefully they will fix that in next version or smth like that. ATM I have both iGO and Sygic installed on my G3 but i am using Sygic due to the problems with iGO.
I've managed to make a working kit on LG G3. 3D mode, and so on. a little bit of lag (I'm working at that) but it runs fine. if everyone needs it, give me a shout (probably a pm).
What about the 2D view zoomed out?
I switched from Igo to here navigation. Works great and its legal. Just beta atm but will go to play store soon. Also works offline. So for me after years of enjoying.... Bye bye Igo.
