Touch diamond 2 ui on HD

does anybody know the touch diamond 2 rom can be use on the HD? ive seen it on youtube. under the search of touch diamond 2.
the new inteface has a new calender tab, new contacts display layout, and landscape menu too. very nice! and looks cool too!
but what amaze me was he review the ui on the HD and not using the diamond 2.
anybody know whats going on???

Yea O and O is right! im using Duttys V2.1 Xtreme rom which is the UI that the diamond 2 is using!
Check it out!

Topaz means Diamond2 ... new manila in latest cooked HD ROMs - isn't it?

There seem to be other changes about the Touch Diamond 2 UI than present in Duttys ROM. I was at the Cebit yesterday and noticed that HTC has replaced the start menu with a proprietary launcher. Very nice to use!

Are there any cabs out yet, with these new changes? I'm not in a position to flash any new roms, sadly.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of what to search for, so I just hopped on the first thread that mentioned it.

yeah, its very new. touch the start icon and will brings you to programs tabs.
and theres even more!
which i like most is the contacts. view everything! e-mail, sms, last called to the person and oso the little thumbnail! way cool!
so what we going to do? wait for htc new rom for update? or XDA-Developers to create new roms to flash?
can anyone suggest?

hey i want to install the newest touchflow 3d.
but ass a panel is that possiable?
can you send me a link i dont want to flash my rom but just install a cab file.
because there are to much download links ap versions it al gets tricky.
if i google an app,the app is old then i must search again blablabla.

in order to have rom update you GOTTA FLASH YOUR DEVICE. only way to get rom updates w/o flashing your device is waiting for the new cab from cookers. i wouldn't be counting on it tho bc most cookers don't wanna waste time with cabs anymore. cabs files so big causes phone lags,stability issues, ect. best way is to flash you won't regret it. just go to the rom development thread and all the info is sticky.

I'm looking for a good ROM, which runs as a winmo 6.5, preferably tested for effectiveness. because everytime i ask someone he tells me that ....'s rom is there but has this bug and that problem.
Would anyone guide me to the light?

I'm deciding between omnia and xperia, and i'm looking for something that is as costumisable as omnia and has a lot of applications supported.
So i'm wondering are roms for omnia suitable for xperia as well or is that another chapter? I like roms like QBus makes them or Taril, but i really dont like sector's roms. I donno if it's his style to make those roms that has vertical menu, i really hate that. I'd preferr manilla 2D or 3D on X1. Are those roms compatible or not?

No they are not.xperia has its own roms.u can view them in the roms section
there are loads of customizations for tf3d in xperia..u can see my thread..its the first..

There are no stable 6.5 roms. Because 6.5 hasn`t been released officially yet.

Which one do you use? I'm just looking for someone that doesn't have major problems like suddenly crashing or anything big.

it's a form of wasting vailiable space..
and u can either use valkyrie_v1 from agent_47
or the touch it from itje
or jerpeleas rom..
go try them and decide for your own wich one fits you the best!

Clock time mismach between panels
Hy I usually use 3 panels from X1
1st SPB mobile shell 2
2nd Default X1 panel, use it its the fastest way to get some configuration staf from X1 .
3rd its Second default X1 panel ,I love it BUT I have a time configuration problem , on main clock is always -1 hour from main time , I dont know why ...

Yes.what tiger x1 says will solve your problem.IF it doesnt then please check the time zone you have set in your phone.and in your pc.they should be the same!

New to HD HELP!

please help an HD newbie...
I like the standard TouchFlo on my, more or less, still standard HD but would simply like a plain black background on all the Tabs/Pages or whatever (The home/weather/ music etc ).
Can anyone give me a simple cab or something equally straighforward to do this?
Also, I have a different contacts program running (funcontacts) It is called fine when I call it from contacts via phone etc but NOT from the People tab, All People button. How do I get my HD to do this please.
Any help much appreciated!

The cab below should give you the same background image across all TouchFLO tabs. Install it and soft-reset. As far as I know you cannot re-map the "All People" softkey from the People tab...

I should have looked earlier at what rom you are running. You have quite an older version of TouchFLO in your rom. The cab I posted was intended for a much newer one. That's why it didn't work as I described it would. You could look into Maxycy's software to customize your TouchFLO. Other than that, I don't know what else still supports the older version.

Why is it an old ROM in a brand new phone?
Shouldn't it be bang up to date? I had to wait for delivery because they were waiting for 'new' phones!

No, HTC / the vendor is. Said you had a 1.19.xxxx rom when they have up to 1.59.xxxx released now. You should look into updating it. Are you interested in custom roms? If not, you should still look into updating to the latest official rom

in fact even the most recent stock roms (provided by operator) are often outdated compared to the roms you can find here (@xda)
they are mostly based:
newer builds of wm6.1 or wm6.5beta
some parts from other (newer) devices
optimzed and customized by the authors
i suggest you to read the hd section to see what u can do with your phone

Flashing is easy if you are well informed beforehand. Just do the research before you flash. Read the Wiki and my guide on flashing roms. Links are in my signature.

I'd love to get my hands on this too!! Mine is T-Mobile branded and the serial gets rejected.
EDIT: The new ROM has been posted here but you still can not download if you do not have a premium account with RapidShare.

Think there must be a lot of people downloading. Im crawling at 23kbps - normally get about 350. It's dropped a lot in the last half hour.

Liking it so far. Icons are updated, but homescreen isn't really changed. Weather affects the whole homescreen, so when going back to it, just now the whole screen is rainingv - quite nice. Settings menu is much better. When going into settings for the today screen, HTC Sense is listed, but the homescreen doesn't match that of the pictures of the Leo, with the contacts and favourites on the home screen.
Nice so far.
(There is a radio app)

Does it have manila 2.5 or 2.1?

I have the TMO US version, do you know if I will have problem with the keybord layout after installing it?

Just installed the (non-branded) upgrade, and i can see there's no manila 2.5... It's just the 2.1version!!!!!!!!!
Personnaly, i don't get it, what can be the reason not to provide tp2 users with it... seriously, i think manila 2.1 has no use at all.

BTW be carefull with the "myphone" service: i've lost near 1/3rd of my text messages because of it

Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't upgrade to 2.5. Is anyone else having trouble using the facebook integration? I can use the facebook app fine, but cannot login to facebook to link contacts to their facebook. I get a Input error - connection failed.

Forgive me if this has been sloved, but I have searched for over a week and come up with nothing.
I have tried m9editor, HDWall, ThemeGenerator all with no success with regards to getting the same background on all the TF3D tabs.
It seems that all of these are designed for Manila 2.5
So, has anyone come up with a method or app for achieving this in the new manila?
A point in the correct direction much appreciated.

I do think that you are reffering in deed to Manila 2.5 instead of 3.0. As far as I know there is not any 3.0 out. But I am having the same problem with the last manilla version, mine is 2,5.19202525 and the fix that was created for old 2,5 is not working any more. When I have tried to install the all back grounds for all tabs I had to hard reset my device, because it was allocating some weird squarte close to the clock at the home tab. Therefore I am also waiting for any fix or any solution that could work for the last manilla version.

If you check the settings tab on Touch Flo instead, it should say something like:
About
TouchFLO 3D 2.0.37889.1
Which is what mine says. This means my touch flo is version 2.0 (from the 2.0.37889.1). Therefore, check yours and search the forums for this. You should also back up your data before trying any of them though as my experience is that these can sometimes mess up your today screen if you don't get it right!!!

On the TF Settins Tab:
About
TouchFLO 3D 1.3.37395.3_1630.38
So does this mean that it is version 1.3 as your post would suggest?
Maybe this is why the App's don't work?

that is correct...
what device do you have. i would look at ppcgeeks. they have a section for manila (aka touch flow 3d) tweaks and mods. let me know if you need anything. as i have all these files still just need to make a cab of them. are you on a stock rom? make sure you pm me as im very rarelt on xda anymore and finding this post will be difficult
by the way touch flo is the app that makes it scroll with your finger through windows or any app. and touch flo 3d is the interface that your using

Having a look through ppcgeeks.
Device is an Orange branded Touch HD. With latest Orange issued ROM (as detailed in post above).
