Will new TouchFlo 3D coming to TP2 - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Hi Guys
Check this out "New TouchFLO 3D v2.5"????
http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=7672
:>

pretty cool!!! I wish it would!!!

This must go to the TP2!
First thought was: hmmm I don't like it.
then after 30 seconds: Woah! much better. More info on one screen. Better agenda. Yup I like. If it's not comming via HTC, there probably will be some cooks who will make a Rom with it. I really hope it comes to the TP2. Seemed as a pretty stable beta, so I think we have a good chance

The story, of course, theorizes that it will come to TP2 when/if you upgrade to winmo6.5.

I´m sure our great Devs here will find the way to have it on TP2

That looks amazing

It will probably come to TP2 once a rom dump is released and hardspl is out. Its like tf3d2 coming to the xperia. It just takes a eager cooker and a rom dump

Thanks for the heads up!
Wow, wonder if the UI will be the same as the one shown on Gizmodo?
interesting news...the sooner the better! maybe we can get hold of a beta before then...
I hope it would be made available to existing WM6 devices. I'm very happy with what I have setup on my JASJAM at present. But it is always nice to have something new to play with. That makes me feel the phone is still very new.
i would like it to be more stable and fast...
Hope they improve the touch interface ( like in uiq handsets)
and bring in better phone functionality as well
good to see you posting bro

hope you have a new hermes cooked rom with newest build and that would be scary to think we could get our hands on a beta ?????
i thought that interface was just for smartphone users?
the way the interface looks it seems to go against the idea of a touch screen imho...

It's not out yet... expect Q4 2009. I heard that there's a beta rom for a certain phone out right now.
In fact 2 or 3 devices form this forum already have beta versions of 6.5
But haven´t seen any for non touch screens, is very similar with the sliding panels of 6.1 std
6.5 only seems useful if you have a touchscreen. it looks cool though.

It looks nasty untill it's played with here is what peeps have done with it on Kaiser http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474869
Basically the same set up as WM6.1 .cpr & bronzers.
Mind you these are all beta builds so no one really know what the finished version will look like when M$ finally ships it out to public.
Oh I see so now there is a 6.5 that is coming out?

I tested it but went back to 6.1, too much bugs by now...
I wonder if we see a 6.5 beta ROM for Excalibur...

Yeah this is how it looks as default http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3214841&postcount=1
Sliding panels basically 2 x bronzeres for lanscape portrait and will be same for .cpr, to be honest i have used hybrids without the homescreen, the beta's all tend to be a bit unstable and i don't like the look of it.
Also have M2D the way i like it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3304250&postcount=2489

Yeah they aimed to replicate the original concept everyone thought was fake, and they nailed it. What they demoed at MWC was pretty slow, but they'll release it manufacturers in Q4 so the speed should be worked out by then.
http://i.gizmodo.com/5154385/windows-mobile-65-hands-on-the-new-interface-rocks
I'm pretty excited for the platform right now. If the graphics are improved by launch day, there will be quite frankly, no reason whatsover for me to get an Android device. With 6.5, we'll finally get beauty with power
good point. if 6.5 is out by q4 & it's impressive, i'll get a phone with it. my contract with tmo is up dec something.

rom?

is it possible to use other roms for like per say the touch pro or fuze on hermes
Short answer: No
They are designed for different hardware. Now, if you were to dump and rebuild. it can/has been done.
Why not try one of the roms here? Or even try cooking one of your own to fit your needs?
simply because i have no idea how to do that i was trying to get a wm 6.5 build 21193 for my hermes but i couldnt find one i liked
Josh will probably have 21193 soon...so, be cool & check out his latest in the mean time

Isn't 6.5 just the honeycomb deal? If so, it makes sense that it would only be desirable on a touchscreen phone. If I'm wrong, maybe someone can fill me in on benefits vs. WM6.1.
I don't really mind about the honeycomb, but really just for the homescreen.
I've been real tired of the sliding panels lately xD

I've seen it with and without the honeycomb, and I think the rom looks pretty sweet, if you want to see the differences , I can't call them benefits 'cause of course I have a dash, you should check out the raphael, tilt, rhodium forums , better yet check out NRGZ Energy roms here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=511146 check out his 1st and 3rd post.
I love the look of these roms , I just don't know if and how well it will be for the dash. I think someone should make a dash version of the 6.5 or maybe do a m2d version for the dash.

They put a date for the 6.5 update for the tp2
6.5 is here!
I believe we have already much better 6.5 ROM´s by our great Chefs here than any "Official" version, however is nice to know the date
Gracias Chefs & Devs!!

I've tired so many rom, and i use the stock. i can't imagine, why use anybody cooked rom on tp2.
when i had an X1 i never use the stock rom, because most of the cooked rom was fast and don't eats 60-75% of the memory. but all of the cooked rhodium rom does, and slowing my phone after half our.
i read all the time the posts, what the users or cheef wrote about a rom: fast and lite and slight and smooth, and best. and it is'nt. it's bugy and slow and annoying.
so i use the stock and can'wait what can the HTC doing with wm6.5 and new (?) manila 2.1. it'll eating memory and slowing the tp2 too? i don't belive that. maybe i'm naive. then i'll flash back my old never-falling WM6.1 stock rom.
regards A.

Warranty can be applied as long as you return to original ROM before you send it to repair! so not really a void warranty
I reflashed to a cooked ROM the same day I receive my TP2 and I´m so happy!

Shame to hear your experience.
Here is complete opposite case, official ROM is so heavy and full of crap...
The wait is killing me, I want a cooked rom on my CDMA device....
and you know what else is killing me, the new network coming out on telus, and my phone that won't do 21 Mbps I might have to part ways, I hope something just as good is coming up.

When that appears to be true, I'm eagerly awaiting this update from HTC. But, in all honesty, I intend to not believe that HTC is upgrading WM as well as TF3D to HTC sense. We'll see. Would be great though!!
Edit: BTW where did you read this?
sorry double post...dunno how to delete
may b they will..they have no better alternatives coming for TP2...its only 1 with HW keyboard, and there are no announcments on TP3..which i wonder will b wm7 phone..mean while old hardware on TP2 can do the tricks on sense and keep business users happy for a while
