I bought an Unlocked Dash with WM6.1 from ebay...the question is:
Can I hard reset or format it without losing the unlocking or it will be locked again? (If it's officially unlocked by T-Mobile code)
Thank you in advanced...
It will still be sim unlocked...
thank you again

If I hard reset my cingular 3125. Will It delete the lock Sim software that installed on it before?
I tried a lot of the unlock sim software to cingular 3125. Almost of them can not do successfully and Its results was not unlocked sim!
Please tell to me about these problems for the good result in unlocking sim to cingular 3125 .
Thank!
Yes. Hard-reset=reset back to factory. Read this carefuly. It will remove the program but your device will still be unlocked. I repeat. It will remove the application you used but it WILL NOT lock your device.

Hi all new to the GNex.
I recently updated to IMM76I (Yakju) Please correct if I am wrong via OTA. However I am still locked to O2 UK. I hope to get my unlock code in the next few days from O2. I have one question.
Once I unlock my phone so it becomes sim free and then decide to go custom rom route, will I have to unlock the sim unlock again?
After reading threads about doing manual unlocking of the network lock. I was not sure if the scenario outlined in those threads about having to unlock sim after each reset will affect me in the same way.
Many Thanks
Tom
So, I just bought a new G3 from my carrier Vodafone Romania and wanted to unlock it so I can use it with other gsm carriers when I'm abroad.
Before buying a sim unlock code I wanted to make sure that it can be unlocked. So I popped in an Orange SIM and it worked without asking me for a code. Then I tried the other method by typing in the dialer 2945#*855# and got "the phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".
How can this be? It's unlocked but permanently locked? Or this is the message you get after successfully unlocking?
Any insight will be appreciated.
I don't know if this matters but I'm rooted and twrp bumped on v20h
Hi guys,
I am planning to buy a Note 10 + which is carrier unlocked so it can be used by any network worldwide. The model is N975U.
Does the phone ask for the carrier unlock code at any point in future while factory reseting, rooting, flashing ROMs, etc?
