german to englisch language???

How or where can I get an englisch operating system for my german speaking XDA II ? Desperately searching for!!
Is there a software update or anything else available?

yes there are several updates in various languages.
All you got to do is search this forum.
But not all updates are compatible with your MDAII.
you have to check the country id of your MDAII against the country id in the update.
I suggest you start searching and reading this forum.
A good place (at least I think so, i wrote it )to start is http://wiki.xda-developers.com/wiki/HimalayaRomkitchen and all referenced links in them.
It's probably a lot but worth the effort.

How to upgrade to wm5

hi folks,
i was searching around for a step by step explanation on howto upgrade my xda II.
i have found quite a lot howtos, but since i am new to this i cant really follow them.
and another thing is, that i live in germany and so i have a german xda II.
does anyone know a very easy step by step howto?

HELP ... so many threads on WM6

Hi everybody,
I have a P3600 with WM5. Iwas thinking of upgrading to WM6. So I started google-ing and looked here ... now I am really confused. I know that HTC does not provide an update to WM6 in Europe. And I see that some people have made it somehow.
I am looking for an update to WM6 in German or English. I would like to know:
1) How is it possible
2) Is it stable?`and how dangerous is it?
3) And is it worth to do so?

There is a lot of information out there, but no one has gone through the effort to distill it into one place, and I think to expect that someone else will do your research for you and present you with a nice distilled How-to guide is unrealistic.
Have you spent any time searching through this board? The answers to your questions are all in there, you need to spend the time to find them. I don't think anyone is going to volunteer to do it for you.

I've tried several "cooked ROMs" but I've found that the most bug free is the official D810 ROM released by HTC. The following link has detailed instructions (and links to downloads) to accomplish the upgrade to WM6:

Maybe this topic has already been opened, but I couldn't find this info no where.
I just got my Orange SPV 700 and I'm plaing to flash Windows Mobile 6.
I saw few topics in here, but Im afraid that they are not in english?
Can someone tell which WM6 in english to download?
I look forward to hear from you.

ROMs with WWE are English (World Wide English).
And DO use the search function!

Well,pretty much what you are going to find around here is WWE,search a little bit more and you´ll find your answers,the best rom is the one that works the best for you......depending on your needs,country,cell-company etc....etc....etc...So this is hard to explain.
I guess a 75% of the roms are WWE,so start taking a look and trying them out.

Thanks very much for taking your time and explaining this to me.
I'm not very familiar with acronyms and terminology that you use here (like - ROM - Extended ROM - Dumped or Modified ROM - Cooked ROM - Original Shipped ROM - WWE - Dump the ROM - CID - Radio - Bootloader ect) and that's why is hard for me to know what I'm looking for.
Anyways,
Now I know that I should look for WWE WM6 and flush my phone.
My only concern is to learn a little bit about ROMs
I just moved to Canada and apart from using SPV M700 as my phone I'm intending to use it as GPS Navigator aswell.
I hope I will not kill my phone ;-)

How to change my windows in italian to english? Omnia I900

I would like to know how do I change my windows 6.1 italian version to english. I have visited many websites but still can not find the answer or the way to do that, or i guess the website to find the 6.1 english version,,help!!!

As this is an HTC devices only forum you won´t get too much atention, however in off topic there is a thread regarding samsung, you´ll need to reflash to another ROM in your desired languaje.
