rings directory

please,
how to update the rings directory on my artemis to setup to storage card ??
(note: the same tweak of the prophet not works).

any solutions?
I've tried:
1. Install Total Commander to your Wiz.
2. Open Total Commander on your Wiz.
3. Next to the drop down menu at the very top, there is a button to the right " \ ". Press this button.
4. Now, the very top folder/directory should be " \\ ". Double-tap or click this DIR with the center D-Pad button.
5. Next, double-tap or D-Pad down and click the "registry" DIR.
6. Next, double-tap or D-Pad down and click the "HKCU" DIR.
7. Next, double-tap or D-Pad down and click the "Control Panel" DIR.
8. Next, double-tap or D-Pad down and click the "SoundCategories" DIR.
9. Next, double-tap or D-Pad down and click the "Ring" DIR.
10. Next, double-tap or D-Pad down and click the "Directory" string.
11. You will be presented with the value for the "Directory" string, which denotes where WM5 will look for your ringtones. For the sake of simplicity, change this to "\Storage Card\" and click OK.
12. Close Total Commander.
13. Now, create a folder titled "Rings" on your Storage Card, and fill it with ringtones!
14. Soft Reset your phone by holding the POWER button for 5 seconds.
15. Reboot, and you're good to go!

but it doesn't work.

hi, i think you'd have to change the directory so it incorporates the rings directory. it should look something like this:
\Storage Card\Rings
I think not sure though

none of these solutions works on my artemis...

rings
put the ringtones into your My Documents
\storage card\my documents
it works
go to the options and it will be on the dropdown

[THEME] ActuproColor WVGA Adaptation by GLOC

I can't let Mallman have all the fun and glory (although he is doing a damn good job at getting those themes out, thank you for the inspiration)
Here are the installation instructions for my theme which is a WVGA adaptation of the ActuProColor theme
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Wisbar Advanced Desktop 2
2. A device capable of 480x800 (WVGA) resolution
3. WWE ROM although you can update the links in the theme and use it for any ROM. Just more work to install if it isnt WWE
4. The zip file which is downloaded from www.imagesoflife-online.co.uk/temp/ActuProColor_WVGA.zip and is 9.3Mb
Uninstall:
Switch themes in settings for WAD2 and delete previously installed directories
Installation:
1. Extract "ActuProColor_WVGA.zip" to folder on your pc. You will end up with one folder with all of the bits you need inside it, including the icons and the wallpaper.
2. From your pc,copy the folder named "ActuProColour_WVGA" to the "Themes" under your Wisbar Advanced Desktop installation directory. If you installed Wisbar to your internal storage (not storage microsd card) the folder is:
\Program Files\Lakeridge\WisBar Advance Desktop\Themes ***note*** if this folder does not exist just create it
3. Start WAD2 and go to settings by touching and holding anywhere on the screen.
4. Select the "General" tab
5. Select "Change Theme"
6. Tap "ActuProColour"
7. Select "menu" at the bottom and choose "Set as portrait"
8. Select "apply"
9. Press "OK"
I have installed Klaxon to link to the clock for alarms and there is a link for S2U2 for the lock option.
This is my first theme so be gentle with me.
Hope you enjoy it.

Press and hold anywhere outside of a 'button', select 'Settings', select the 'weather' tab, enter the city required and off you go.

It's still on the server...and hasn't changed.

I tried WAD with your theme but I have the following problems :
1) When the phone wakes up by pressing the power button, it shows WAD for a couple of seconds and then it reverts to S2U2. Therefore, if the power button is pressed accidentally when the phone is in my pocket, all widgets and phone hard keys are pressable during these two seconds, before S2U2 takes control. As a result, many times I find my HD in my pocket with lots of apps running ...
2) When I tried to replace S2U2 by extending your theme and building my own (WAD based) lock screen, the "home" hardkey didn't lock. As a result, I find many apps running when the phone is accidentally turned on and the home key is pressed ...
3) When the phone is locked by S2U2, it is asleep and I get an incoming call, if takes a couple of seconds to wake up. Even when it does, the dialer ID doesn't show correctly as either the caller's name or the control buttons (answer, reject etc) are not showing. This happens in both cases, that is if I use the WM buildin dialer ID windows, or the the S2U2 one.
Although I really loved WAD I had to reject it due to these problems.
Any ideas on these problems ?

Unfortunately due to the quirkiness of WAD2, I have given up on it and now MSH3.
Sorry, can't help you any more as I don't have WAD2 installed.

I also had to reject WAD2 and turn to MS3 due to the problems described above. I posed this question just for verifying that these problems do not happen on my device only.
It is a shame that such a nice piece of customizable and creative software cannot cope with the HD device ...

How to change the short cut for the soft keys on the home screen of tf3d

Hi ,
Can any one tell me how i can change the short cut of the soft keys on the home screen . Now they are phone and camera. I would like to change it to programs and file explorer.
I am using the new tf3d

But still the choice of programs is limited. Eg: "programs" can be assigned only to the right softkey.

is there a reg tweak or something to give more options?

Take a Regeditor of your choice go to \HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\ Then you see HomeRSKpath HomeRSKtext HomeRSKArguments for the right Softkey, just enter the path of the exe file you want to execute as value in HomeRSKpath and a text of your choice in HomeRSKtext
Same for LSK for LeftSoftKey

Does anybody know what is the path and exe to get the dialer on left softkey?!

I find this one the easiest to use. Just tick the HTC Diamond mode checkbox first and you can change the home softkeys to whatever you wish.

hot key for new program in celetask...

how can i assign a new hot key for a new program in celetask? when i goto hot key, i am unable to add new program. only change hot key for existing list of programs
using kavana's rom

ok..got it..
goto tools --actions --> add tool
point to exe of program
enable add 'create shortcut'
voila !! Access any program from 2 buttons !!

Remap IE button?

Hey guys,
I want to remap the IE button to let it start CeleTask, does anyone know how to do it?

Now I know - there is a PIE.lnk file in the windows folder.
And there is also something in the registry, I searched for iexplore.exe and found a key in HKLM named "shell" or something. I deleted this key, this worked in the 6.5 rom but not in the 6.1 rom - the button there seems to be mapped in hardware to the iexplore.exe
So there are 3 solutions:
1. I only change PIE.lnk so PIE and Celetask are both starting
2. I overwrite the iexplorer.exe with Celetask.exe
3. I find all references to iexplore.exe and replace them with ie.exe and rename the exe.
Hopefully number 3 is working - would be the best now as I need Internet Explorer sometimes.
