Aeb Button Plus. How do you set it to run multiple commands? - Touch HD Themes and Apps

I've downloaded this program after reading various posts on this forum.
I want to be able to set my hang up button to do the following with one press:
toggle wi-fi (i.e. switch wi-fi on)
toggle phone (i.e. switch phone off)
open messaging
check & send hotmail email
toggle wifi (switch wi-fi off)
toggle phone (switch phone on)
Any help appreciated.

I'm not quite sure if this is possible... Maybe you should check out MortScript to create a batch file capable of doing all those things in the right order and then figure out how to activate that batch file using the end key...

How about just turning the wifi on and the phone off together?
That would be handy.
I could then check my email

[APP]SVMPowerMgr 2.0 - Power comm. utility

Hello.
This is the "reloaded" of SVMPowerMgr 1.0.
With this app. You can:
- turn off the screen of Your device
- put the device in suspended mode
- soft reset the device
- turn off the device (HTC devs.).
- turn on/off wifi
- turn on/off phone module
- turn on/off bluetooth (make discoverable/invisible)
- switch phone bands Auto-2G-3G
You also can create 7 shortcuts to the program with parameters:
0 - turn off the screen of Your device
1 - put the device in suspended mode
2 - soft reset the device
3 - turn off the device(HTC devs.).
4 - turn on/off phone module
5 - turn on/off wifi
6 - turn on/off bluetooth
somethig like this
[simbols count]#"[path to program]SVM Power Mgr.exe" [parameter]?[path to icon file you want to use],-[icon index]
You can change the images of backrounds button separator and buttons, they will be located in "Images" folder after install. With one restriction: now the buttons are black, so if you change the back of main program, consider this ...
Remarks: To close the main window you must tap anywhere outside the buttons or in space between buttons. Also to close additional windows tap the Close button or empty space of window.
P.S.
On/off bluetooth works well on Microsoft and Broadcom stacks, but discoverable/invisible mode for bluetooth is working just on Microsoft stacks, on broadcom is to be developped
P.S.S.
Supported screen resolutions: QVGA (240x320), Square (240x240), SquareQVGA (320x320), VGA(480x640), Square VGA (480x480), WVGA (480x800)
Regards.
Seems really useful. Gonna try it with powerbutton long press
Looks promising....will give this a whirl...thx
hello and thaks. i am looking for something like this.
happy new year
Looks useful... Gonna try it.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards
It looks awesome. Will give it atry on my phone.,..
Looks great, thank you very much!
It works but there is no icon on each button on my HD. Using stock ROM
Works great on my Diamond. The only thing that does not work is the 3G and 2G switch, which I assume is because I am on CDMA. Would it be possible to get the button to switch from Ev (3)G to 1x? Good work.

Hi,
I'll try to find a way for this.
Best regards.
Error
For my device it can do almost all it promises including turning off the gsm but turning it on or switching between 2G/3G does nothing except gives me a dialog box named "Warning!" that containins the sentence
"The Phone status can not be switched."
Also turning the gsm and 3G on/off with HTC comm manager works just fine but as soon the gsm gets turned off by svmpm the HTC one also looses control over the gsm module (including 3G switch). I love your tool but how to get over this case?
I've got a feeling that this app has one of the best forum-replies per downloads ratio. I mean people just use it and don't complain. So great app when mapped to a comfortable hardkey. My issue was rare, so download it!
Hello and thanks for the program. I have instaled in my HD and mapped to one of the home bottom button. I have an spasnish stock ROM 1.56 and the final button doesn´t work and I would want to link it to another application like mylight. How can I make this?
Thanks for this applicatin
Missing icons
The app functions correctly for me, but the icons are missing (the text for each button are present). Anyway to bring the icons back?
Thanks
MEG
HTC HD2
Thanks a lot.
A very useful app for my GPS guided treeking.
works very well, thank you very much!
Example to create a shortcut please

Dear Virtan, would you please give me an axample to create a shortcut please.
I think I don't know about [symbol count] and [parameter]?...
What should i write (i use resco explorer) when i want to create a shortcut, for suspend for example...
Thank You
EDIT :
It's okay...I found it..i just add number 1 after the shortcut.
For example :
"\Program Files\SVM Power Mgr\SVM Power Mgr.exe" 1
But Still don't know how to change the icon.
PS:
When i use this shortcut as a link to SPB Mobile Shell i found that everytime i wake up the device, the device starting with "something working" logo (circle that quartered and moving). This is not found when i use the SVM Power Mgr usual link (with menu). Any suggestion?

[Q] enable airplane mode turns wifi off in 4.2?

i have 2 gnex phones that both just updated to 4.2, and prior to the update, when i turned on airplane mode, cell data would turn off but wifi would be left on.
after the 4.2 update, one phone continues to work that way, with airplane mode on, cell data is turned off but wifi is left on. the other phone, enabling airplane mode turns off both wifi and cell data.
i know that apps are not able to toggle airplane mode anymore (AutoAP) because of security changes but why would airplane mode work differently on 2 phones running the same 4.2 build?
both phones are running stock android, no root, no flashing.
is there a setting i'm missing? was this something in the update that other people are experiencing?
thanks for the help!
Can't you just toggle wifi back on after?

yes, but it immediately shuts wifi back off.
with airplane mode on, i can go to the wifi settings screen, and hit the toggle, it turns on, scans, finds the local wifi, connects and at the same moment it connects the wifi on/off toggle flips back to off.
just seems weird that it is happening with this phone but mine is working as expected...
Then you must go back to 4.1.2 with 4.2 gapps.

any idea why it would work with one 4.2 phone and not the other?
seems odd i'd have to backport one phone but leave the other at 4.2
This happens on my Nexus 4. Airplane mode constantly disables WiFi, no matter what. And yes the app AutoAP doesn't work either.
I have found this app, Airplane Mode Wi-Fi Tool, funny that it was made for Android versions prior to 2.0.
The actual app doesn't seem to work (to enable/disable airplane mode and WiFi), but within the app lies a nifty feature in the Preferences menu under Extras:
Keep Wi-fi On
Wi-fi on Airplane Mode
Check both of those and you should be able to turn Airplane mode on and then keep WiFi on.
Cheers.

im on ARHD 7.0.0 and even in prior versions, when airplane mode was turned on wifi would turn off but it could be turned back on. how come your wifi stays on during the airplane mod transition?
Isn't airplane mode means disable any active radio transmission includes Wi-Fi which is sent and receive data ?
If you just wanna stay off calls why don't you just use automatic redirect incoming calls to voice mail or just simply pull out the sim card?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Airplane mode is supposed to turn wifi off (its a transceiver). However, You can turn it back on while airplane mode is activated and still have the other functions off.
That how airplane mode is supposed to work, thats not a bug, every phone ive had does this

i don't know why, but wifi always has always stayed on when switching to AP mode since i got our Gnex phones in sept. (4.1 i think). wifi even stayed enable when switching to AP mode in my old crappy kin two.
and i think it must be fairly common based upon the instructions in the $30 cell service thread, but i'm no android expert so maybe i'm wrong.

There's a lot of talk about this. Check the [GUIDE] to voip/$30/month plans. But it sounds like google moved it into part of core services or something like that. So none of the autoap type programs work any more. But one member had this suggestion below in that other thread. Gotta buy Tasker, but should be able to get back to working like AutoAP did.
Download Secure Settings. Launch Secure Settings, go over to the Helper tab and install the helper. Then go to Tasker. Go into your task and delete the Airplane Mode radio step and the Airplane mode on step. Then hit the + at the bottom left, go to Plugins, select Secure Settings. Hit edit. Scroll down to "Airplane Mode Radios" and select it, and then select "Cell" from the dropdown. Hit the save button at the bottom left and select the check mark to create the task. Move the task where it needs to be by dragging on the right side up and down. Then create a new task, Plugins, Secure Settings, edit, Airplane mode, on, save button, check mark, move to position. You can figure out the rest. Works perfectly.
Llama works as well, it's free and looks less complicated

keep wifi on in airplane mode
I guess I have figured out how to do it with Tasker or Secure Settings.
Both have two actions like "Airplane Mode" and "Airplane Radios", so the second one doesn't turn off anything, but set, what to control with "Airplane Mode" action. Setting seems to be system wide and permanent (saved after reboot).
Good luck

how to use the wifi timer?

When you will go to setup wifi/when you will turn on it,
You can find the Wi-Fi Timer by going to Settings, by hitting the Wi-Fi menu option under the Connections tab, By pressing the Menu soft key on your Galaxy S4 and hitting Advanced. It is very simple way. Yep, this is a extremely well-hidden offer. Then you set the hours you want the Wi-Fi timer to switch on Wi-Fi. Thanks

Tasker

I just downloaded tasker. It seems like an amazing application but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to use it. Here are the tasks that I would like to program:
1) Set Wifi On when I am at home using cell towers
2) Set Wifi Off when I leave home
3) Change volume level to vibrate when I plug it in to the charger and allow emergency calls from certain phone numbers (I read you can do this)
4) Set volume level to highest setting when the phone is unplugged
5) Launch Pandora when my phone is connected to bluetooth
If someone could post step by step instructions that would be great. My hope is once I learn to do these, I can figure out how to program other tasks. Thanks.

1+2) New Profile "Home" State->Phone->Cell Near - Under Cell Tower press scan and walk around the house to register a few cell towers.
Go to tasks and create new task "Enter Home" - New - Wifi - On
Repeat with a task "Exit Home" - New - Wifi - Off
Go to profiles long press "Home" select Enter Home as entry task and Exit Home as exit task.
Same logic for the others

I can't get the silent mode one to work. It seems pretty simple so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This is what I'm doing
Create Profile - State-Power-AC
Create Task-Audio- Silent Mode On- Set as Enter Task
Create Task-Audio-Silent Mode Off- Set as Exit Task
Doesn't work.

Ditto! I also find myself completely baffled by it every day, despite having used it for years and being a programmer. The more complicated stuff you try to do, the more you'll be both amazed and confounded by the capabilities

Automatic turn off cellular radio?

The building where I work does not like my cell signal, for some reason. It reads 5 bars, but I get no calls and it says "searching." I have wi-fi calling, which works fine. If I leave the cell radio on, it eats through my battery in half a day even if I never turn on the screen. My workaround so far is to turn on airplane mode when I get to work, then reactivate my wi-fi radio and Bluetooth. It works, but it's clunky and I frequently forget to turn airplane mode back off again when I get in the car to go home if I'm thinking about other things.
Does anyone know if there is a way I could set up a script of some kind that can just deactivate the cell radio when connected to a specific network, and reactivate it when it disconnects? Not just mobile data, but the actual cell radio.
I've downloaded Tasker, Automate, and IFTTT, but so far, I just can't figure them out well enough to get any of them to do what I need them to do. If someone could walk me through how to use them effectively to accomplish this, I'm more than willing to do the work end myself.
Via Tasker app, you can make a profile to do the following actions:
1. Autoinput action to simulate tapping your Airplane Mode setting to ON.
2. Activate WiFi On to connect to your work WiFi.
3. Activate Bluetooth On to connect to any Bluetooth you want.
You can activate all the 3 actions above by pressing a created shortcut widget on your phone home screen when you reached your workplace.
Make another Tasker profile to do the following actions:
1. Automatically turn off WiFi when disconnected for 1 minute. This means when you leave your workplace, your WiFi will be disconnected then after 1 minute your WiFi setting will turn off.
2. Automatically turn off Bluetooth when disconnected for 1 minute (same as above).
3. Autoinput action to simulate tapping your Airplane Mode setting to Off.
The 3 actions above are automatically activated when you leave your workplace.
All the actions above can be activated without rooting your phone
