Anybody is facing the same problem? I have just received my TP2 and I'm really happy. The only problem is that the auto complete (suggested words) is not working on the original (HTC) virtual and hardware keyboard.
I have already tried the Tweak (AdvancedConfig 3.3) and set the auto complete from 0 to 4 but nothing. I'm using the original ROM in English.
Any help will be more than welcome.

Hey guys i'm wondering if you could help me out. I've only just got the Desire and its working great but sometimes the multitouch just seems to stop working for some unknown reason and i would have to reboot the phone to be able to get it to work again. I was wondering if any of you guys have experienced this and how you managed to fix the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
For me the problem was caused by some other input methods dl'd from the market.
Try switch back to factory input method or the HTC_IME mod from the forum,
that immediately solved the multi-touch issue for me.
Hmm ok I'm using swype atm so if it happens again I'll try and switch back to the original keyboard. I thought out might have been caused by my task killer (eStrong). So I uninstalled that to try and solve the problem

Also, try to re-calibrate your screen to improve touch precision:
Go to Menu -> Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Touch Input -> Text Input. Scroll down and select Calibration tool and Reset calibration, if necessary.
If you still have the same issue and if after trying what was posted above fails, hard reset.
Cheers I'll try that the next time it happens. It just seems so random

Its been reported that the issue happens when swype is installed... which you have.

Yup, here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6265748
one person mentions it causes multitouch issues after you install the app, but if you reboot the phone then it's fine. Try rebooting before anything else.
Cheers guys that seems to be the issue. Ah well its a small sacrifice i guess. Swype is really awesome . already getting quite good at it after a day playing around with it.
Hello,
I have been using Touch Pro 2 from last 7 months. Around 4 moths back i upgraded to Win 6.5. After that i am facing a particular problem. Sometimes i get an error of "Device.exe" and then all the sound from the phone is mute.It doesnt play any sound and even if i answer/make a call, i cannot hear the other party's sound or even when their phone is ringing. There is only vibration. I tried using it with headset, and there is absolutely no sound. After resarting the phone everything is fine. But the error appears the very next day or the day after that, and i just restart the phone. I tried Hard Reset and installing the official ROM from HTC website, still the problem persists. The only software i installed after replacing the ROM were NetCF3.5 & Advanced Configuration Tool v3.3 only. I highly doubt if it causes this problem as i was using it in Win6.1 when i bought the device.
The people at HTC downgraded my device to Win 6.1 and asked me to use it for a week and see if the error comes. I am using it for almost week, and the problem is not there.
Can someone suggest what the problem could be, as i dont like 6.1 as i am now used to 6.5. I dont think HTC will be able to help me soon. Someone please help me in this case.
REGARDS.
Hi, I had a similiar issue with my tilt 2 that I finally figured out was linked to advanced config tools. Specifically the changes I made in the sounds settings. For some reason this muted my microphone and speaker. After changing back those settings to default the problem was resolved. I am running 6.5 on my phone. Hopefully this helps you out.

YOU ARE RIGHT buddy... i was doubting on Advanced Config only..... but i did not made any changes to he sound, i use it for unthreaded messages only...but this time i did not install it, i got the unthreaded sms patch from HTC and installed it, and till now i did not face the same problem, it almost 3 complete days of my usage.....
now i am sure Advnced config is the culprit....
Few more people are having the same problem in my country(UAE) and have complained at HTC, i shall inform them about this...or lets wait for another 3 days to make sure that this problem does not occour.
THANKS A LOT
I had some similar problems with the advanced config running the stock rom with the att tilt2. I've since banished that program from my phone.
Hi, after a clean install my mic turns out very weak.. I can hear the other side.. but the others don't hear me or very very weak.. another clean install doesn 't solve the problem
Are there some mic settings in the Touch Pro 2 for adjusting mic levels or is there a tweak, app.. HELP!!
greetss Mike
Yes. You must turn AVL (Auto Volume Level) off. You should find this under Settings.
Thnx for your replie!
Already done this .. but no positive result
Now i'm running XDANROID and the problem is solved!?
Switch back to WM 6.5 (clean) and MC doesn't work perfectly...So now i'm running my TP2 on XDANDROID
XDANDROID has the bad habit of screwing up some settings in WM, so maybe you should try to hard reset your phone and upgrade it to the latest ROM. This should fix your problem.
hi to all
i search in this thread but no have any solution. i bought one x.... phone is fantastic but auto rotation not present... i've try all (reboot service mode, enable and disable option....) but i haven't find solution for this problem... calibration functional.someone found solution or this is a hardware problem???? thanks for any suggestions and sorry for my bad english
Auto rotation in apps or at the homescreen/launcher?
Apps should work.
Homescreen/launcher - HTC Sense doesn't allow automatic rotation. You've to use an app such as Rotation Locker.
When you play a game that uses tilt controls (try Temple Run if you haven't got one), does the tilting work?
I know some One Xs had bad g-sensors that would stop working. See if it is that, and get it replaced if that is the problem.

Dear Friend,
Its an unknown error of HTC one X. I also discovered it. When it was ICS 4.0.3 it was very good. After updating to 4.2.2 Jelly Bean the problem happened. Please follow my instruction that may help you. When you will find your G sensor calibration stopped.
1. Just Disable Auto rotation from Setting--> Display Gestures & Buttons. Or you can disable your Auto Rotation from anywhere you can find in your device setting. Just Uncheck the Auto Rotation.
2. Power Off your HTC one X. Remember No Restart. Just Power Off.
3. Leave it for 10 minutes or 20 Minutes.
4. Now restart and see what is happening. Your G sensor is working or not. You may go to Camera you will find it is Auto rotating. Leave your Auto rotation Setting. Just open the Camera and see Auto rotation is working or not.
5. If it is OK now you can check Auto rotation if you want to open browser in Landscape Mode.
6. If you failed or you have the same problem you just Go to the Power and Uncheck Fast boot and again follow from number 1.
I am confident because that really worked for me. I don't know it will work for you or not. I already told you this is such an unknown Error. May be a conflicting issue with HTC one X tegra Hardware to the JB 4.2.2 Android.
Thank you.
Hello,
I am not sure why on earth the keyboard has stopped working as it supposed to work. Previously there were small arrows on the space key which was indication of multiple language. Swiping it to the sides was changing the lauguage.
I am not sure why I do not have the arrows---> which means I can not change the language of the keyboard.
I tried resetting the settings and all, but no luck.
As you see I have 2 languages added to the keyboard...... maybe I am missing something ! any help is appreciated.
Thanks
I think I found the root of the problem. I put it here for others in case someone faced the same problem.
The problem comes from enabling Accessibility->Services.
I had the "Greenify" enabled there. After turning it off keyboard start to work as before.
Peace,

This is all great but looks like this is Kit Kat problem. So what to do it if you need Accessibility mode for app that do notifications for Smart Watch?

No idea how to fix the Kit Kat issue here. But while default Samsung Keyboard had this issue, switching to Swype Keyboard showed no problem. So as a work around, you can switch to swype keyboard for now.
