Program that let me see video titles - Touch HD Themes and Apps

Maybe i am a noob in the blackstone use, so if you know a metod to see the titles of the video before open it, can i please know what is it?
The problem is that the standard program for open video, the htc album, show the miniature of all the video but not the titles, and i have various video with the same miniatures.
The question is: do you know a video player or a metod for open a list of video files with miniatures and titles of the mp4 videos?
Thanks for answers

coreplayer can't reproduce mp4 video well because it don't use hardware acceleration (or i miss some news?)
For gjpax:
I mean exactly like the list of albums in music player.
With the htc album i have only the video thumbnails without the titles, so i can't know what video i will play when i tap if i have more videos with the same thumbnail.
Sorry for my poor english

I know that coreplayer can open mp4 but i remember that there was a lag in video reproduction because of the absence of hardware acceleration, but maybe i'm talking about a late version of coreplayer, and this is the same thing that happen with other video players apart from the htc album and wmp.

are there skin or another tf3 media player?

hey ive searched the forum but cant find what im looking for
So is there a cab. or other easy way to change the look of the tf3 player?
(i dont like the standard player at all)
if not is there a easy way to remove the tf3 player and add a wmp tab instead?
Hope someone knows
thanks
currently no and no i think. Why do you want to use WMP instead of the audio manager? I love audio manger for a few reasons and why it is better than WMP.
Flicking through songs is easier, you get the album art, when you soft reset your phone it only goes back the beginning of the current song not the whole playlist like WMP and finally its on a touchFLO tab.
i agree on all those points, however the way it looks and feels I think is so annyoing. So I think we need another option with better design but same functionality
How about this one?

Guys i try alot of diferent programs for listening music i try MORT player witch many peoples say is the best i try around 5 other and finaly what i can say from all this expirience is that!
The default Audio Player in the Touch Flo is the best not only because is very finger friendly and easy to use.. the default audio player also have very good crystal sound!
Im saying this because i use very high tech speakers and NO ONE Audio Player that i test can beat the default Audio Player so you don`t have any reason to remove it?!
I cant live without listening music on the Touch Flo
Cheers
i found this thing
However it doesnt replace the touchFLO player and also its a little buggy
Since the music player in TF3D is essentially part of a skin anyway I think your best bet is to find another player if you're not happy with it.

Super High colour High quality sample video for Desire...

Here is a very colourful short clip I formatted to fit the Desire screen resolution in H.264 format. It is the IDEAL way to show off the superb clarity and vivid colour of the desires screen. Gorgeous.

Looks incredible on the Desire's screen at full brightness!
we want more clips like this
yeah. the colours are seriously vibrant
Wowowow lol, thank you, damn it looked awesome, plus it made me wanna see the actual film lol, cheers again
Sent from my HTC Desire using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
your welcome. I got it form here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx
There are some more very colourful wonderful HD clips there. I just used a program to crop them very slightly (to fill the phone screen) and resize to 800x480 in H.264. Love it.
This looked better on my phone that it did on my laptop!
wow, really shows off the screen! Cheers!

Can you give the name of the program and settings you used to encode this please?
Cheers.
Thanks for this, I was looking for some good clips to show off the screen.
hehe.. Thought you guys would like it. I was looking for a clip that really had enough movement and colour in it to show the screens wow factor, and this is it
I used "Any DVD Converter Professional 4.0.5". You can try a trial version here http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_dvd/
It has an option for the 'Android Nexus one' in it which will automatically resize the video to 800x480 and convert to H.264 Mp4. The good thing is you can also crop the sides of the original if necessary to remove the black letterbox bars on top and bottom of wide-screen movies etc. It's a shame to leave any of the Desires screen not in use, so I normally crop clips to fill the entire 800x480. you lose maybe 5% off each side of the original clip, but its worth it to remove the letter boxing and see the whole screen filled
this might be a stupid question but how do you play videos? I know it is possible to install some media player like aPlayer, or to use camera app but why there's no a default media player? And if I go to settings->manage application I see the Streaming Media Player icon but there is no widget or app to invoke it! wtf?

Personally, I got a file manager (like Linda) and if you select a video from there it'll launch it in the default player.
you don't need a player. The phone will play video.
Just copy the files to a folder in your photos directory.
Then just browse to the photos icon to launch the gallery. Your newly copied videos will be in there. just click to play.

Sweet Music Player for Galaxy Nexus

Ive been using this music player for a couple of days, and i've gotta say:
I really like it.
MUSIC PLAYER FOR PAD
My only gripe is no APE support, but i can live with that.
It has a few Visualizer settings, Equalizer and supports MP3, WAV, OGG, MID, MP4, M4A, 3GP, FLAC, AAC, WMA, FLAC, AAC, and WMA.
Works well with Ice Cream Sandwich and Large Screen devices...

Doesnt support folders as far as I could see it just imports all the songs into one LONGG list..
Doesnt make them very easy to sort or view and the buttons are a bit small on the Nexus but it might look better on a tablet for which its designed for
Looks nice but I uninstalled it after 5 minutes lol.
Mark.
Quite nice but doesn't work well on the GN. Buttons are just too small. Also no controls on the lockscreen. The default player seems to be the only player to support that feature.
What's wrong with the stock player?

Works for my needs. All my music is tagged correctly so i usually just dump it all the FLACs and MP3s into one folder and shuffle play. Done!
Simple player for my simple needs
I've been using PowerAMP since it was released first time round and I love it. This app could turn me away from PowerAMP...hmm. Thanks for the heads up on this.
I have been looking for a FLAC player for the G Nex for so long..This seems like a good option Thanks! :good:

Let us know your feedback. we have not tested with custom ROMs. If you are running Tonido already uninstall your old one and install the attached apk or get it from the google play store.
The streaming quality is very impressive! I played a 1080p mkv with my nexus 7 tethered to my S3. The only slight issue I am having is that the video pauses whenever I get a popup notification, and when I start it again it jumps forward a couple of minutes in the video. Is there any way to give an option to let the video continue to play notifications come through?

Music streaming is working great. Playback is pretty much instant, and the sound quality is awesome. Music does not seem to be affected by incoming popup notifications. It continues to play while the notifications come through.

Hi...were you able to get to playback the slow motion video?? I too have the same problem. When I playback the video taken in slow motion mode, it just plays at regular speed. There are posts suggesting to tap of the menu button and alter the speed, but I dont have a menu button option. During playback if I touch the screen, all that comes on are the pause, forward and reverse buttons, and the home buttons..
Somebody please help...LG was not of much help
Unless I'm mistaken, slow motion video only works un the default videos app. Playing it elsewhere makes it play in normal speed.

Well, I've read that you can play slow mo videos in apps like VLC and Media Player Classic. You can test it and tell me if it true or not. I'm not sure enough.

Old thread but for the benefit of anyone who will be finding this thread when searching for answers...
There's no such things as "slow motion videos"... conceptually yes, there is, but technically no. What you get when filming in "slow motion video" is a 120fps (frames per second) video. When playing this clip in the stock player, what it does is, it detects the frame rate to be 120fps and automatically play the clip at 1/8th of its speed, which gives you a 30fps slow-mo video.
Any player *could* play a clip in slo-mo as long as it has the feature to slow down playback implemented. Heck, you could even play a regular full HD 30fps video in slo-mo, although it would look a lot more blurry since you only have 30fps to work with.
VLC does indeed let you slow down playback...
