Hello,
I just received my new HTC touch HD.
I installed the last version of Microsoft activesync 4.5,on my Windows XP.
When I try to synchronize my htc touch hd with Active Sync, I have a blue screen of death on my computer.
I don't have Microsoft outlook.... but I don't understand what happen....
Can someone Help me ?

when you get a BSOD you will get a stop code as well. It will say something like 0x000000AF (0x0000000, 0x0000000, 0x0000000)
If you google the fist part of the stop code, in this case that would be 0x000000AF, then it shoul;d tell you what is causing the problem.
Also if the message you are getting says anywhere either, Begining Dump of Physical Memory or Page fault in Non Paged Area the first is usually a HDD fault and the second can be a Memory Issue.

Hi There, im from Mexico and dont have a very good english but i try to explain my problem:
in the firts place im a rookie in this kind of thing that you do here, havent modified my phone yet, at least not the OS.
i ve been experimented some "errors" in my T2P like a freeze screen, low response, no conection to internet, so mana messages of no response of the server of email... in fact when i use live msn and leave it connected i lost the conection.... i can resolve this problems with a soft reset... is there a way to avoid it?
in consecuense of that kind of things ive been thinking about change my OS with one of those that appear in the forum, but i don know wich is the best for me..
i hope you can help me with my problem...

hi everybody.. after enabling gprs on my SIM I'm having this problem with my phone:
I've uploaded he pic that best describes the problem on it. (as I am a new member the forum do not allow me to attach an outside link so I had to put a link)
ok. I think I have to explain it: whenever I connect to gprs the G sign on top (that is a beautiful tiny one with round corner) change to a ugly big white like G and it reamins so even after disconnecting from gprs! and after passing some minutes or some hours it goes back to the original form. sometimes it happens automatically without conecting to gprs. the big G sign is really bad looking and disturbes all the beauties there.
I don't know if I could describe the problem or not. in the pic it was exactly mentioned but the forum doesn't allow me to upload it. any way that was the problem
any solution?

I have a problem with my HD2 and I thought I ask before, the internet explorers in general, IE and Opera and Opera 10, Uzard... etc,, they don't open the internet page directly , not even if I wait 4 or more than 5 minutes for the page, especially facebook, and I checked our network in Syria and I was sure that there is no site that is locked or has a filter or I don't know what to call it, My little brother has a Nokia Exprss Music cell phone and the browser opens much much more faster than my HD2 , and no problems at all, I wanted to ask if there is a way or a small software that I should install to make the surfing come faster or at least just open, Opera Mini does not work either, Mozat also only login then a blank white page, XDA Facebook V4.8 does not open at all , it opened only one time then never opened, I used a fast internet line ADSL when I connected the HD2 to my Laptop through WiFi but still no use,I know that there is a connetion cause the weather in the sence works but when you come to the Explorer itself alot of pages won't open, then, just to be sure and to leave no pleace to doubt,, I purchaced a 3G SIM and used it in the HD2, still same problem the internet is bad and slow, I checked the connection section in the device and all settings are ok but still the problem exists!!! I need an advice if I should use Android on the HD2 or still Keep using Windows Mobile 6.5 and what to do???? I currently us Leo V2.3 Rom and it was good so far exept for the internet problem, please if anyone can help or advice I would be thankfull,

for me (and some other users from Germany), Facebook Chat has not been working for several days.
It simply shows all Facebook contacts as beig offline. This is the case both in Windows Phone and Windows Live Messnger (all instances).
I don't think Microsoft hat acknowledged the problem but I also did not find a similar thread here.
Does Facebook Chat not work for anybody else as well? If so, where do you live?

Apparently Microsoft or Facebook fixed this issue as it is working again for me and many other users from Germany.
I have the same problem on 2 phones. Romania
I'm from germany and the problem does still exist for my hd7 phone.
p.s. i still didnt switch to the new timeline view till now. maybe thats the cause of the problem?

Yes some people noted that after they switched to timeline it worked again, but I have had timeline since months and I did not change anything to get Facebook Chat to work again.
Might be worth a shot but to be honest I think it is just a coincidence.
BTW guys do you use it on 2g or 3g or wifi?
Any battery drains?
