Now I have this GREAT phone with a GREAT screen.
I like to use full screen caller id's . So I installed slide 2 unlock. Whatever i try the caller id is blurry like &^% .
I have tried :
1) adding 5 megapixel in outlook then sync = result very blurry full screen caller id
2) Make the picture 480 x 800 . Looks great. Put it on my storage card .... add the picture to a contact = result very blurry full screen caller id
I just want a full screen 480*800 caller id.
Anyone have a suggestion on how to make the caller id crisp and sharp ?

Hey guys,
I would like to change the awful template that go with the ID (and photo if available) when someone calls me. IA Style no longer is available as a resource. Is there an 'easy to use' application out there that will help create new templates for the Caller ID? Ballet dancers and rotating fruit don't do it for me! AND I want to get rid of that stupid phone with arms and a flashing sunset behind him!
Please help me!!
as far as I know you can just change the default pics in the app.
Templates is something you dont have to use . . .just enlarge the photo to cover the whole box . .
Thanks for the quick response - however, I was hoping to move the picture , name and details etc in the box. Is there not an app that will allow for some creativity??

Is their any way to increase the font size in the caller id message bubble
that pops up, it's almost impossible to read, or a third party app that can intercept the caller id and create a larger font size? Possibly scroll on the screen. Help!
One way to do it is to use photo contacts 1.20. It's listed here on this site, you can customize the font size as well as a few other options.
I edited Phone.apk and Contacts.apk, so far what I have successfully done:
1) full screen caller picture (480*762 keeping statusbar)
2) Croping @ 480*762 (by selecting a picture or taking one with the camera)
My problem: once the picture is cropped, its saved in the gallery but not saved in the database of contacts and not used.
If I understand the code, the picture should be temporary until its saved into the db (in data I guess) then linked to the contact.
Any one more experienced than me could tell me which part is the "copy into db" part in attachimage.smali ?
I used KI8 for this.

I'm on Viper and using Ghost Sense 5 theme, it's very good, but one thing is not changed from Sense 4 and that is incoming call picture when the phone is locked (when it's unlocked I got Sense 5 incoming call screen). I managed to change some stuff (regardless of incoming call screen) with decompiling fusion.apk and change some pictures, like lockring for example, but cannot find the way to change incom. call screen. Anyone can tell me how to change it, maybe have to change something in Idlescreen_Base.apk or something like that?

Hello, I want to ask, is possible to set contact caller picture to display correctly on Cyanogenmod 11 (for example I have 20141006-nightly version)? I have picture of size 720x720. I make it as contact picture and after dialing, picture is somehow stretched (see attachments). I tried 10.2 version of Cyanogenmod and there were this problem too. I also tried set "Incoming call screen style" to Classic or Fullscreen and it´s the same without changes. Can it be repaired if it is problem. I hope You understand what I want because I don´t speak English so good. Thanks
