I'd like to create a "T-Mo MyFavs-esque" panel on the home screen. I've already used CHome to create an app launcher but if I try to set the template to contact dialer it lets me get as far as selecting the number and then crashes with an error.
Any tips?
I had the same problem it crashes if the contact has a nickname, I just removed the nickname so I can use the template.
that's strange...I've not set any nicknames...just the first name, number(s), email, ring tone, and pic
What did you do (step by step) to create it?
EDIT: Well that's odd. I can do it for one contact but not another. I will test others and look over the contacts record to see what the issue is.
EDIT2: Yes! There was a nickname in there! I just forgot I guess. It works now! Too bad there isn't a way to change the order of the pages (make page 5 page 1, etc.).

I want to change the input box on the Internet tab to have a clear border. I searched through the Manila files, but only found the input box itself and not the border. Can somebody help me about this?

I think you have to edit 6b23369e_manila and 496e9ec3_manila to get clear launch icons in the start menu. I'm using Dutty v3.3 btw.
It worked for me, i have attached the 2 files you will need to get launch icons without border. First backup your files! Disable Manila copy the files into your Windows folder and restart Manila. I don't have a Rom with launch tab, but it should work for you also. Pleas add a screen shot if everything is ok ^^... if not...DON'T ADD a SCREEN SHOT !!!

I have white areas with a zoomed icon instead of each launch icons. Sorry =S

Zoomed icons are always good !! Can you please upload your original files, maybe there is some difference between our manila files, and i can fix it.

PS : I don't know why but I have an extension on the copied manilla files (.$8d & .$85)
You uploaded my files ^^ .... Maybe the extension is the problem that you got white areas with a zoomed icons, because Manila don't find the files. Anyhow i am glad that you found a solution, my icon margins are complete clear.
Damn Resco Explorer =P... I've moved the originals (and not copy) to restore my manilla then PrgBakTrns has overwritten them =S But that's OK ! My matter is solved ! Stay your problem. =(

Had before an app where i could choose an image and then place it as lockscreen..or homescreen with good croping. I could choose any nice picture and then it made it for me soo that the image will look nice in lockscreen. I had my phone replaced and can not remember the name of the app. Everytime i just want to place an image on lockscreen now i must crop it using phones standars apps...before it saves it...and it looks awfull....
Could somebody please give me any hints ...what APP can i use that solves my problem and makes the lockscreen look nice with any high resolution image.

Is there a way to chage the list of Contact List. I mean i have a large contact list. I add company name, job or title to my contacts. But when someone call me on the screen, it shows only name and surname by default. (Normally). But i have a lot of X Y on my list. I couldn't figure out until i answered the call. And i dont want to add company name or title to the name, surname fields.
Is there a simple way to change this like X(Name) + Y(Surname) + Z(Company) like a string concat or something.
I dont want to use 3rd party application but if you have something on your mind. Feel free to answer here.
