Does someone knows where i can get a nintendo DS emulator for Touch HD
I want a emulator that cover the hole screen
comercial free and free of charge if possibly
waah... that's a joke, right?
You won't get a ds emulator even Gameboy Advance runs about 9fps :|
Seriously - label your post with [REQ] next time.
I think it should be [IREQ] for Impossible Requirement
just list something need to be...touch:
1. touch screen
2. navi pad
3. button ( not to mention buttons)
-> at least 2 or 3 point need to be pushed
how could HD do the multi touch for you????
if you got an emulator cant u open it in morphgear
can i burn dvd-rw with hd?
duh i am getting repetitive
you do realise this guy is a noob so why u taking the piss out of him? ever think that maybe some people dont know as much as you but that doesnt make them stupid......unfortunately my friend it isnt possible but dont worry about asking your not as stupid as the people who mock you for asking something you do not know about.

but then I wanted to know if there are any others out there, prefferably one with joysticks ? or something similar to a PS remote because I would like to play PS emulators on my HD2 if possible....
anyone have any ideas? I dont mind if it is blue tooth, or through a cable or something, just as long as it works... please lend me your ideas/thoughts on this topic...
bump please
this is prettymuch your only choice.

i really want one but dont want to spend the money.
seems like with all of these developers and talent that there would be something better than that out there doesnt it ?....maybe there is, but we have not heard of it ?...hopefully some others can shed some more light on this issue...
there is a program out there i forgot the name that lets you use one pda to remote control another pda over bluetooth if you would like that better.
i personally really want one of those msi gamepads but i have not been able to justify spending $30 on something i will probably play with for a day then never touch again.
I feel the same about the 30 thing...I cannot see it worth it, I know I may use it more than a day though, but man - $30????? wth it does not look worth that much.... haha, well I would rather use the MSI gamepad than another pda (I think)....
any ideas? I am sure if we try we can all get something different, or work on something ...but I know that is taking a long shot ...
what about this ? would this work ?

What's the point in 5point? Dotty is the only app I can think of that has anything to do with it. I'm not saying there isn't a reason, I just can't think of any reason other than just to say you have it.
Useless???
Maybe someone will develop an app that uses multi-touch gestures... I suppose that could be handy for some security app or something... I have wondered the same thing and I don't think there will ever be much need for it... At this point, it's just for bragging rights
Ohh...... now it's my turn. This is a question and should be in the qa forum.
excellent value add!! let the mod's be mods. Not sure as i can pinch to zoom and all my games play haha

You can play a five note chord with piano/keyboard app!
I have no clue either, but I thought I've seen around these forums that some games do multiple touches? Maybe not, thought I've seen it here...
"Please show us on the dummy phone the 5 places that the bad man touched you."
Couldn't help myself. Seriously though, 5-point is more a gimic at this point, but somewhere down the road it could be useful.
Snesoid sports it which can get you out of a bind.

I give my EVO a five finger massage.
It could be used for a cool Android version of Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
isnt that the trick that the Black mamba used to kill bill?
Emulators.
Rockband/Guitar Hero-like games.
Five-man air hockey.
Bragging rights.
Great for games on any emulator with a d-pad, with more than 2 multitouch points you can walk diagonally and fire at the same time.

honestly,i always get irritated when something is posted in the wrong forum... but its not due to the recent hype here @xda...
anyways, i dont know why but this did not bother me one bit.
Anyways2.0 @ OP. There's a game called NOVA {Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance}. Really similar to Halo... I like it. Well, before I could not be moving around + firing (2 fingers so far) + throw a hand grenade(or jump). Meaning I could only do two of those at the same time.
However, after flashing custom kernels (EPSON 003 no tints), Dotty showed me my device can take all 5 at once [insert sex joke o.0].
Here's the good stuff. Though I can't do all of those things at once... I can do 3 at one time. While running, I can continue to do so, shoot an enemy in the faceheadlolomgwtfs, and clip a 'nade out. So, yea : ) . As far I know, this is undocumented by Gameloft© (not that I checked).
By the way, it is not available in the Android App Market. Find it @ www.gameloft.com [on your device!].

yes some Evos can and come cant...
And the problem is that most (99%) of the apps in the app store only supports 2/3 point touch max since most android hardware can only support that much.
alright. Thanks for the replies. I was just curious about it. And sorry about the wrong forum, I thought about putting it in q&a, but I figured it had to do with evo development so I put it here. But I apologize.
Seems that, as big as the screen is, 5 fingers wouldnt fit right. But for video games I suppose so. Maybe someone will invent a 5 finger tapping app that gives you a score based on accuracy and speed lol.
Thanks again.
Is there a download to enable multitouch? I am running Baked Snack 1.6, but I only get two points on multitouch test.

certain kernels unlock it, like kingklick's kernel. Only certain phones can have 5 point multi-touch, other phones can only get 3 point.
Some games I don't enjoy playing on the touchpad and I think it would be better on the dpad. Is there an app out there that can change the mapping?
Thanks.
I'm assuming you're referring to EA games, and no there is no app and there likely won't ever be.
They're completely different inputs,so no.

Unless you're an Android dev, you are not qualified to post something like this.
Its nothing against you but this forum seems to have an epidemic of "Someone HAS to be able to do this" , well no its just not that simple.

Less of the disrespect. He has done more for this community than you ever have. I class him as a developer so quit your crap. For all you know he could work for Google and be a developer for Android. You do not know everyone's life.
And as for what he said IT IS POSSIBLE it just wont be easy!

Cut the attitude pal. You don't know squat about what I've done for anyone, nor do you know anything of what he does as you just said. I don't care about your opinion or how you class him. While I wouldn't classify myself as a dev (for this device) I do post quite a bit here and try to help (except when people continue to push out stupidity). Point being though his contribution or mine has nothing to do with the point of my post.
My point was dev or not posts like that get taken on a run by this place. its why we have so many threads that won't die about how the PLAY is going to have Native PSP emulation and crap like that.

THIS IS XDA IT'S ALL ABOUT THESE POSTS SO STFU
technically a Android dev is anyone who has created something for Android well I have created apps for Android although for personal use.
well I never said it was simple, I am creating a programme for windows and I decided I wanted to add a feature so I did. now I need to work out how to make it work. same principal.

well said fma!
Wow,
I will apologize and say my original post was a brash and I should have explained myself better, the second part of my reply to DeanBoro is what I really meant.
My point is the same, I've made android programs too, but have no idea what would go into trying this (I haven't taken a look at the SDK at all).
Posting "it could be done" with out some sort of backup is what I am pointing out. If you're gonna post something like that do some research. You said yourself you don't dev for this phone either so you don't know how. Otherwise as I said the dreamers will have it already working and 30 posts on it in a week. Look around this forum you know I am right.

not to sure who this was directed at but. I will apologize to. sorry. I dev for this phone although only things I need like a App for my website or something. I didn't say I could or couldn't do it. But I did say it possible cause any one could see it is possible, a App could read and redirect movements however it would require skills and may not work in general use like gaming due to lag many apps already do this do this but not for touchpads. I don't. need to do research cause essentially it is possible.

I was apologizing to you, and thank you.
I believe anything is possible with the right programming. Feasible on the other hand is a different story, and in this case it could be simple or something that just plain isn't worth the time you'd need to put in.
Just leaving an open ended "but it is possible" from someone such as yourself that has stature in this community can lead to what I said, which just leads to more and more useless posts here (not by you).

Awww, everyone made up!
Anyways...
It would be possible, just like it would be possible to redirect dpad to touchscreen.
You would need root.
All input/output goes through /dev/input/eventXX
You would make a service which reads from eventXX and when it receives something translate it and put it in eventYY.
The problem is that this is not part of the SDK, so what works for one device, will not work with another.
Or you can make your own IME (input method), that its part of the SDK. No root required.
This its how Change Shoulder Buttons and OnLive Helper work.

Mind you as I said before I'm not experienced in programming with this phones SDK, but the "analog" touchpad controls basically mimic "analog" touchscreen inputs (I put analog in quotes because we all know its not really analog), but those controls operate differently than simple key inputs (such as the camera helper) that remaps a specific coordinate event input to a button.
I would think that the IME way would be the only way that this (in theory) could actually work. But that I would assume also depend on how the game in question handles inputs. As we have seen some games are far different than others.

I would also love an app that could do this, i hate hate hate hate hate the touchpads in games!!! I bought my xperia to play games, but i can't play all of them like battlefield, deadspace and other because of the stupid touchpads. Worst thing ever. I would pay no matter the price for an app that could change from touchpads to dpads.

Whats the facepalm for????
I seriously would like to have this game on my android phone (Epic touch ).
I know the game is for iOS .
I know i should try contacting the developer (which im trying to find out how is the best method right now)
I know its not easy to have a game ported, as it is themes, and roms are hard but the developers on here do a crazy job and have alot of knowledge and this could be something they might want to do.
I dont use any iOS device but my nephew was playing it on christmas and i liked the game.
If the developer of the game would to ported to Android and put on the play store i would purchase it .
again im trying to find the contact info for this developer..
radiant defense is sooo much better and its in hd and on android

you know all of this, yet you still ask for it to be ported. no one but the developer will port it because its illegal (im pretty sure) to do, especially if its a paid app.
and if its an old game, then chances are the developer will never port it because if he had any plans to, it would of been done already.
so in conclusion
facepalm

i was hoping someone might have already seen it available or maybe knew it was in the works for android. I had searched over and over and i coudlnt find it but sometimes i might not have been looking in the right place. regardless that facepalm can be shoved up your A$$..
Is there some kind of n64 emulator out there for my surface RT or someone willing to port one of the opensource ones? (project64 for example: http://www.pj64-emu.com/blog/)
Is it even possible or are there some kind of insurmountable hurdles being the reason why theres no n64 emulator available yet?
sry for my noob questions but ive searched already for it and couldn't find anything...
peace.!
am i really the only one interested in a N64 emulator for windows RT ? or am i missing something and it's a stupid thing to ask?
anyways would be happy if someone could tell me if its even possible or not. so i can still keep hoping for it or forget it

at the moment, impossible. The emulation cores don't work for the specific version of arm we can use for rt.
It is technically possible to do one, just its alot of effort to rewrite some sections
oh ok, i'd definetely give that guy who makes this happen a little donation but till then i gotta wait and see i guess
thanks alot for the information and making things clear for me dude.
