there is already a thread with cab collections here (btw it's a sticky thread!)
and i'm also uploading useful apps to my mediafire space here (not that much atm, but i'm updating...
and also: why not list all roms to the wiki (see here for modified roms)? that's one of the reasons for wiki's......
some months ago someone already tried to create such a thread....and now we have another one with exact the same contents....i say WIKI !
But that's just my 2cents....

how to add French ?

I have downgraded my rom from wm6 to wm5 using
RUU_Excalibur_HTC_WWE_1.11.405.4_4.1.13.28_02.63.90_Ship.exe file with the help of all the threads here ( Thanks to all contributors !!! )
how can I install French langage on my HTC ?
( I have already change the keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY)

Hello,
I'm still a newbies but nothing go right for mapping correctly my htc620 in azerty.(Yeah french keyboard)
I've tried with the latest WM6.1 very very nice from kavana but still in english language like for keyboard...
- Full registries modification (as said on this forum)=> noway
- ET9 modified (as said on this forum) => no way
Any suggestions please.
The latest official Rom in French from Htc is a WM6.0 Rom/
And I would be so Happy to exploit the Kavana or another version WM6.1 in French language

eT9 Dictionary

Currently we have only English dictionary available with Ricky/Kavana ROM. Is there anyway to create new dictionary for other languages than English: french, germain, etc. Anyone has the info on this? In the old WM5-6, there was one package from Dashapp.com (?) SN T9 keyboard pack (??) but that doesn't work anymore in WM 6.1

You lost me 6.1 kavana ver. has a dictionary or are you speaking of keyboard layouts?

I'm using Rick v23 and when I switch to french, all the words suggested are still in english except those I already used in the past. In WM 6.0 Rogers, when french kb is use, every words are in french.
Another thing, when I switch to french kb, its layout is AZERTY, it would be nice if that do like the one in Rogers ROM: the layout stays QWERTY only the dictionnary switch to french. I can live with it for now but it would be nice to be able to do it

transcriber cab anyone?

Could someone post the installation file for transcriber for our beloved diamond?

Here is ther transcriber.cab for german rom versions. Works fine on MDA Compact IV with DiamondProject v2.1 Lite GER

WM 6 rom for Diamond

I'm searching a wm6.0 rom for diamond. Not wm6.1.

no. not here
i dont think wm6.0 ever existed for diamond. diamond is native wm6.1 device.
besides wm6.0 is slower than wm6.1... why r u looking for it?

But 6.1 not good.

might wanna try this
all menu items in wm devices depend on mui files... you can always copy all the mui from hungarian device and rename them to 0409 at the end... this is quick and dirty way and will not work on display/menu items. no official hungarian rom from htc? as for language in typing msg and stuff, you can try different keyboards, im personally currently using experia x2 keyboard now with many languages available... might wanna try finger keyboard 2.1 too... which has hungarian support.
