I had used Hard-SPL to unlock my Diamond. But how can I change it back to the original SPL as i need to repair my cell phone?
where can i download the origianl SPL for the HONG KONG version HTC Diamond?

I need to upgrade it in english.Please help is needed badly.

Just read the sticky posts and you should know what to do.
CID Unlocking / USPL and further tips from Meschle are not that hard to find....
After successfully running USPL you can flash any rom (for Artemis) you want....
being new is no excuse for being lazy...

i did the cid unlock but can you give me a link where to download the english version of windows mobile. because after i did the cid unlock i did install the new version of windows mobile but in norwegian.
did you check the data form my artemis are they correct so i can upgrade to english version?

If your SPL is 1.11 your device should be cid unlocked and ready for flashing.
(this should be after running USPL)
There are lots of english versions....check the wiki pages...
The newest one's are bepe's wm6, B&B 4.3 and Meschle's Touch 3 and O2 Premium 2
my spl i 3.13 and this is after i did the cid unlock and installed wm6 but in norwegian can i install it in english with this spl??

USPL need to be 1.11.0000 before you can flash to an other ROM

i first did the cic unlock and i got the spl 1.11.0000 than i flashed with the artemi touch 3.01 and it works fine man.thanks a lot.
if you could send me some link with some applications for example tomtom navigator and any extra applications.

Hello, 1 quick question. After having the Unsigned version of HARD-SPL OLINEX TEAM. Can I flash this on top of it using custom RUU for warranty purposes?
I think it's rather old! Which version was your official SPL?

Hello thanks for the answer. But I have still not got the diamond, I have ordered it from play.com and should arrive on monday. I am just asking this question because I want to flash the developer hard-spl, but cmonex told us that it is overwrite protected so I was wondering if I could flash this original on top of it. As soon as my diamond comes i will let you know which official spl it comes with.

You must use Hard-SPL if you want to change you rom, cooked or Stock(Your area rom dont need hard-spl) and if you want to change radio rom. If you dont upgrade to Hard-spl you are stuck with the rom in your device..The only time you can upgrade or change rom is when a new HTC rom for Diamond is released, for your AREA. and you can download it from the HTC.com support site

hi, i searched already, all i could find that the latest was released on the 22.01.2009 whereas on the HTC site they state the date as 27.02.2009 !!!! however htc doesnt mention which ver. is that!
do u think they are the same and htc posts it later?

Hi guy, I completely download the file from the Diamond official site. That file is *.exe type, so I ran it by double clicking, but then it appeared on mu PC screen like this "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again". I downloaded it again and again but same things happened. I also tried to manually extract it using win zip; 7zip and Rar, still not working . Suggestions plz?

I have the same phone as you have in GSM. It was with 1.93 SPL and I Changed to Olinex 1.40.
If I could do that, I think you should have no problem in moving to 1.93 un-signed.

The is really no need to change from 1.4 to 1.93 unless you are having issues like screen flickering ETC but if you must have it get 1.93 here

I had the same question and tested both (GSM regular diamond)...
For me at least, nothing changed.
