grammar
ha what can i say i never really was any good with grammar

alright im about ready to give up ive done the registry hack and went as far as to rip an img myself from a game and tryed it straight and compressed into iso format i realize im using the Fuze (Raphael) and ive posted their too i thought the diamond was basicly the same but i dont know the only thing i can think of is that fpsece was made for armv4 and armv5 and wm 2003 not an armv6 with wm 6.1 so if you actually got it to work please tell me how you did it otherwise im clasifying this as impossible.

ive got it to work a little bit i had to throw it on my phone memory instead of the sd car but its still ridiculously slow so im gonna try to find a game small enough to put on m internal memory and see if that helps

I'm going to do some developement work for Opie, and I'm thinking about getting a Blueangel to test stuff on.

I have asked this question before, but didn't get
any answer. opie should work, but i can't test it
right now.
Thats what I think, but I can't test it either! I don't have one yet damn... heh
Im dying to try it on my PDA2K (Blueangel)
can someone direct me to the latest version
cause i found alot of versions and none of them for blueangel
please let me know and im ready to do it
(by the way .. im a beginer but would love to learn)
Take a look at:
http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/BlueAngel
There's a link to both Opie ang GPE rootfs images there...
If you have problems getting the the Opie image to boot, take
a look at:
http://opiedial.hanafjedle.net
Under the download section you can find the Opie rootfs image I use
to boot my Blueangel. Its a bit different from the original, but it works!
Thanks alot Mr. Mind for the help .. i would try it when i get home cause at the moment am at work.
but one question (would the commands work with my operating system? cause its not linux , its double OS "windows XP" & "Windows Vista")
i would try to use the commands in the command prompt
thanks alot for your help and patience
Regards,
Lestat
Well no, the format of the SD card and all that stuff needs to be done under linux.
Windows cannot create ext2 partitions on the sd-card.
You need to install linux dude
this way i have to wait until i install the linux OS (which would take few days for backin up my data)
thanks alot for your support, cause i got a friend of mine workin with me in the same company under IT - Mobile services testing section. he advised me to get linux on my blueangel
anyways thanks alot and if you got any advise i would be thankful.
Regards,
Lestat
Opie image that's posted on handhelds.org is defective - i couldn't get opie to work.
GPE image does work, but it has too many issues to be even remotely useable. In other words, it is work in progress.
well then i guess i have to wait more :? then
thanks alot for tellin us mate[/img]

Depending on your operator
Download the appropriate ROM File here:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/BlueAngel/Shipped_Complete_Updates
Or if you just wan the EXT ROM go here:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/BlueAngel/Extended_Roms

biut then again if its the only way to do it.
you can always edit out the file you dont want installed in the Config.txt

really new to this (noob)

Hi all. I want to add themes apps to my touch pro2. Ive looked into the fourm and there is nothing for people who are starting from scratch. Where and how do I add all these files and everything.
Dont reply with try the surch button as I have for the past 2 days and am lost on it all.
There should be a sticky for people like us who are all new to this. So help me and the others people like me
Have you tried looking at the Rhodium themes forum? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=491). There are several themes made by users on the first page (I'm one of them). If you look over at the Blackstone themes forum, you will find more. Almost all of these can be installed via cab file.
and what is cab file?
just draged the ROMeOS³ RHODIUM TRANSFORMATION PREVIEW PACK and had 2 files and but both of them on my phone. Turned it off and on and nothing.
Went in to start and add other programs and it couldnt find the two I put on my phone.
So as I said there is nothing on saying what to do with these files, where they are, where they go and everything. Really badly layed out

funny......... when you add the cab files to your phone or memory card you need to install them using file explorer. just dragging them across doesn't install them...
ok... so why dont people say that in the first place rather than theres the files enjoy there is no step by step on what files to downloader where to put them and everything. So now Im going to try this file explorer. where ever that is on here.
More searching now
thanks for your help just wish other put it up in the frist place for us noobs. Shame my blackberry was so easy on moding

no! file explorer is already installed on your phone. it's in programs or click start and should be one of your shortcuts. no searching............ relax as people assume that everyone knows the basics. not done intentional! open file explorer and navigate to where you put the 2 files. click on them and should start installing!
hurrrrray its working now thank you ! ! !

It couldn't hurt if you checked out this link:

Coolsmartphone learnt me all the basics when I first ventured out into the world of WinMo in 2004. I'm sure there are a lot more of these sites, they won't go much into detail on your specific device, but they will help you understand what's underneath Touchflo etc. It will probably save you a lot of frustration...
And I'm sure there's a manual that came with the phone too that will do a lot of explaining if you give it a try.
funny enough I saw that site didnt help much and Ive never seen in the "manual" of how your not use there installed software and use other peoples and how to do it.
Ok, what do you think about this one: New to a PocketPC?

Carty..

how to flash a rom to the blueangel?

ok, so i have the mda III, also called xda 2k or htc blueangel. i played around withit, trying to install some software, but aparrently something went wrong, because now it says serial (or usb when connected to computer) and v. 2.07. ive tried looking through forums and stuff like that but that didnt really work out... can some one pleas tell me how to either get back to the os i hade or upgrade it to wm 5 or 6? and please include the links of where to find the rom or the software i have to use. i do have this device manager thing and my computer runs on vista. id really appreciate it.
PS if you could tell me everything step by step in blonde speed, for example what to name the folders and stuff like that, thatd be great !
oh yeah and PPS: the phone doesnt show up on my computer...

Interesting stuff with usb sniffer

I was messing around with the programs "Snoopy Pro" with "Source Usb" and noticed i got a lot of interesting things.I myself don't really know what to do with it,but iam sure it could come in use.(If it hasn't been done before)I reset to the original kin os and run snoopy pro and got this in the picture i added.I noticed the program "Source Usb" can grab a lot more, but you have to buy the program to save it.

I dont quite see how this helps us. Can you please explain?
Snoopy pro
I was hoping this could show us how to access the Bootloader when you do a complete reset on the phone.(Maybe even make a driver for it)I couldn't really find any post's on here about it,so thought maybe someone might know what to do with it.

Ok thats a good reason. I will take a look into this stuff and see what I can do.
I didn't post the full list of commands but it seems like there is a lot of useful stuff going on when it connects too the modem / bootloader. The only other thing im gonna try is the DFS cdma evolution tool which is supposed to read the EFS filesystem on the "movinand" chip. But i think if you or someone with a lot of knowledge on figuring out what all those commands mean can put together some kind of driver or something.Hoping we could find a way to dump the files when the phone is getting hard reset(the modem reset or whatever)I'll keep posting updates if i come up with anything new.
