With so many 6.5 ROM's coming out now I'm curious if anyone uses MS Voice Command with a BT headset?
Theres quite a few versions available on the internet and I have found one that works and works with a BT headset. I use the Jabra BT8010 but I would imagine it will work with any headset.
I attached a screen shot of my version number so you can search for it..
I can't live without my MS VC and so far this version has worked with every 6.5 ROM I have loaded.
Yes, I am as well, but I had to do a couple reg tweaks to get it to work with BT

What reg tweaks did u make?
Mine works right out of the box.

I've been using the xPulse Rom and MVC works fine with my bluetooth headset. And you're right..i couldn't live without it. The MVC cab I'm using has that BTFix program rolled up in it.

I just don't know how yours are working out of the box. I had to apply the tweaks and now I'm working getting it come through my bluetooth.

Yeah I can get it to come through the headset, except I can't get it to read a test to me, or reminders, etc through the headset
The eversion I use already has the tweaks and everything built into the cab so thats probably why it works. Its been awhile since I have used it but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Yes, a definite welcome would be in store to get this eversion you are talking about. I can get mscv to work on my hermes, but I can't even see, find, or locate the mscv launcher in my start menu at all. It would be great to have your version to test out. thanks.
I tried this version you speak of, but it still will not announce text messages over my BT

Can anyone recommend a good tasr switcher/closer that actually works on the PDA2K.
I've tried vBaar (used on XDA2) but will not work in 2003SE.
Magic Buttons - great but screws up when the phone is on.
Any suggestions?

I use Pocket Plus, no problems yet.
wisbar and wisbar advanced are doing great too...
pocket plus seems to make my bluetooth headset to stop working...wisbar advance makes your phone unable to show incoming calls if the phone app is not initialized. I use handy switcher, it's ok.
Try using wisbar advance from www.lakeridgesoftware.com

I use Magic Button and it works ok. I do change it from on to off to get the notifications to work though (but all you have to do it tap/hold the icon).

I use handyswitcher and it is ok. I like to use my device one-handed, however, when I click on close all applications, it resets the phone. Instead I have to go to the phone screen and select close all except active. There is no option to just close the active program. I have mapped handy switcher to one of my hardware keys. If someone has something better where you can map it to a hardware button and close or switch programs let me know.
I use handy switcher and when i chose close all it works fine. No reset.

I can't reproduce your problem. My device networks fine via USB after using the webcam software.
I have activesync installed, but don't have it set up with a partnership for my device (using oggsync instead). Does your activesync sync with your device?
Anything unusual in your network connections settings?
Have you tried a system restore to an earlier point?

Do you mean that you changed the rom after emailing your device ID? If so, it could well be that your device ID has changed - have a look in your system info screen (as directed by ateksoft) to see if it matches what you sent them.
I had similar issue after changing roms - they sent me a new code.

The smaller the resolution that faster you will get... but by fast ... i mean 7 fps ... LOL
The framerate depends on the resolution and quality settings you are running at, if you turn the quality and resolution down you can get a good frame rate.
I run the resoultion at 640 x 480 and quality 70/E and the frame rate is fine.

Thanks for that very useful reply! Despite the original posters claims I was trying to gather the opinions of others before I installed the software on my phone.
Clearly you're either new to the internet or have so much money that you can risk your expensive phone by installing unreliable software.

It has no Live Wallpaper support because it's still alpha release.
And this feature has lower priority than other stuff that have to be fixed.

Hi, dedalum!
On Blackstone BT does not work, wifi and data works, camera.... I'll test it! (I think it wont work) --Tested, but the news are bad!
The old kernels does not work with Gingerbread, so camera does not work, yet!
I tried two different kernels, for the camera testing and for the anti-audio stuttering MOD, in the both cases it cant reach the homescreen.
As nasko_spasko mentioned, camera seems out of reach for the moment...
I also asked in VirusCrazy's camera testing thread, and he also gives Gingerbread "low chance", something for the future...
But I should add that there is (probably more than one) kernel out here that fixes audio stuttering, I'm using Gingerbread with a modified 1253 kernel from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11169582&postcount=76
Audio and Wifi great, battery life ~ 20-30 hours (using periodic data for ClockSynch and some weather sync, but nothing else)
Cheers,
Robbert

The audio is the most important issue for me.
I have GBX0A running with 1255 kernel. It's the only one that doesn't give me audio-stuttering since Gingerbread won't boot with the 1498 kernel.
The latest kernels 1260/1262 both work but give audio-stutter.
Only thing i'd like is a new rootfs with keymapping for Blackstone like in the rootfs from 2011-01-31.

Keyboard is a known issue.
Recommendation: get Thumb keyboard from Market. It's free and has different layouts and looks.
Fix for alignment squares: use old ts-calibration file from another build, or use the one attached below. Just remove the extension and put it in the same folder as haret and startup.

Use build in Japan IME. It has Latin characters on the numeric keyboard (like in non touchscreen phones). Should be enough to log into market and download gingerbread keyboard.
