Hello guys...
Here is my long awaited DZ file creator.
This one is coded in asm with a custom zlib static lib integrated and MD5 hash (from Roy/Fleur).
Hope it will be usefull for any (source code will be available in final release).
Bugs reports and suggestions are welcome...

Celui-ci est codé en assembleur avec une dll statique zLib personnalisée intégrée et la fonction de hash MD5 (basée sur celle de Roy/Fleur).
J'espère qu'il sera utile à quelqu'un (le code source en masm sera mis à disposition en version finale).

For some strange reason, I can't seem to get this to work. I've tried several different ways of entering the parameters but to no avail. It just keeps listing the usage info.

Ok, sorry for short explanation in the program (May help message could he improved).
Here is an usage sample:
For Incite/CT810:
DZCreate -mCT810 -vVersion_Description filename.dz path_of_subfiles
For KS20:
DZCreate -mKS20 -vVersion_Description filename.dz path_of_subfiles
Version_Description contains version description (not only version number).
Since version 0.02, the "-v" argument is optional.
filename.dz is the dz-file to create (with ".dz" extension).
Since version 0.03, the ".dz" extension is optional.
path_of_subfiles is the path (without ending backslash) containing subfiles..

Ok, I was able to get it to work. I had to put the dzcreator in the same directory as the sub files.

I am going to have to give you a virtual pat in the back *pat *pat* and I am also wondering if any of you will be able to upload a rom dump to some website ( I think Teoami said in the biginning of the forums that he has a valid rom dump which he made and now that he has a dz file, can u pleeeeese pm it to me or just post it to the official website (You'll be the best person ever aside from copsfrance if you do so).

Don't care, the source will be provided soon (perhaps with version 0.03).
This version 0.01 is actually *alpha* and seems working on KS20 (Spocky has made some tests, and it seems working).
I think it should work on CT810 because it uses same chipset in DZ-header and subfilenames as the KS20.
Unlike my previous tool DZDecrypt, i haven't released a GUI version because rom kitchen mainly uses command-line tools.

Way to go, waiting for more phone support, anyway great job with mastering the DZ structure and GUI its not essential it have only 2 arguments.

In the next version, i'm planning to include another parameter on commandline.
As suggested by Spocky, his kitchen stored customized "flash.bin" file in a different path than the other subfiles. So, i may include a new optional parameter for a possible different path for "flash.bin" file only.
I'm already working on version 0.02.
This new version has already supports for KS10 and KU990.
The hardest work was for KU990 because media and module filenames have "variable" subfilenames, so, i have to update the main engine.
The method used will be explained later.

Hi I have u990.dz (H3G Branded viewty) get them HERE! These are different to KU990.dz as there is a model number change.
I hope these help. I also have dz for KU990MF,KU990GO and a master rom for U990. If any of this is of interest to you just let me know.

In version 0.03, support for U990 has already been added with some firmwares from this website. I just want to be sure that filetype 0x10h is always named "LG_SSIKYU_Flex.fbn".
If you can send me links for KU990MF and KU990GO, i'm interested.

Hey people, I have successfully made a cab for installing O2-UKs wap and mms settings to WMXL (however this should work for LVSW/3DES.1/Black etc..).
I have a request can people PM me the settings for thier mobile carrier (dont forget the name of the carrier) and i will try to get a cab made.

In the meantime, is there anyway you could share your successful o2UK cab - having a mare getting all the settings working with WM6 - either t'interweb will work or MMS but not both. Strange I know but sadly true.

I wouldnt hold your breath to be honest, it is looking less simple everytime I try stuff! It will install MMS stuff no problem, but the GPRS settings are proving troublesome. watch this space.

my local SP created a cab for that, can you use it or learn from it?

Can not take credit for it myself, it is in the Universal forum somewhere.
And I use it on my Tytn with no problems regarding GPRS etc, other than MMS.

Trying so I can switch back to wm6 , I went back to the latest cingular rom and upon initial install there is an auto cab install which is not the files that are in the extended rom but rather cingular settings for media net, sms, data connection, etc. Is there any way to pull these files from the rom?

I´m having problems upgrading XIP and SYS from 1.37 Spanish Base ROM to new WWE_1.93.831.1 ROM.
I´m using surface kitchen, and i just copy extracted OS.NB from 1.93.831.1 ROM to ROM directory in my kitchen. What i´m doing worng?. My diamond boot and start coping files, but it reset befor calibration screen apears. It´s so strange, so original 1.93.831.1 ROM works perfectly on my device....
Please can someone help me to finish my cooking.
UPDATE: If I flash WWE_1.93.831.1 Stock ROM don´t have the problem of automactly reboot before screen calibration. Do I need to upgrade SPL to 1.93 version to make a cooked ROM based on 1.93 XIP?

I only overwrite original \ROM\OS.NB with \ROM\OS.NB from new ROM, so surface kitchen don´t import new XIP inside ROM directory into OS.NB, just take XIP from OS.NB.
What kitchen should I use for a good SYS and XIP porting?, on trinity I get sucess with ervius kitchen, but I don´t know what is the best kitchen for Diamond... Any idea?..

@Ry09iu i know this question is a "little" abusive but i have seen in your "blog" where you post photos that you have build MIUI 7 for other devices. Can you build it to this phone please?
After using this rom for a couple of days the battery drain is massive! i deleted the chinese bloatware and its the same! never lasts a day!
@oxalis1970 nice rom but needs a little optimizing! drains battery and sometimes is not responsive

Oxalis, thanks voor keeping this community alive. I think you are the only dev now.
This ROM is running fine, no bugs to report. Only thing is the camera. Why not the MIUI camera app instead of the EMUI camera app?

Hola bueno este nucleo. Lo he probando tambien junto Con el v12. De razziell y el asuikernel durante las pruebas de unos cuantos dias he llegado a la conclusion de que es el mas rapido tiene mas equilibrio.y es mucho mas regular por lo menos en mi dispositivo lo recomiendo

Ya sabéis el procedimiento.. Dalvick caché. Caché colocais el archivo en sdcard externa e instalais con twrp siempre copia de seguridad no cuesta nada suerte y saludos
