Hello everyone i have just installed Nav N Go iGO Version 8.3.2.83157 on my HTC Touch HD. Im on Dutty's v3 XT rom , and it worked wonderfully without any tweaks. Please test it and let me know if it works for you as well.
Note: i downloaded the navigation software, language files, and the voice files seperately .. and combined them after downloading onto my pc. Did a transfer to Storage Card thru Active Sync. Voila it worked out of the box.

where did u download the car an how did u install it? =)
I have a slight problem, the backlight keeps turning off but then it comes back on after 1 second wait and the cycle repeats itself. Is there a way to keep the backlight on permanently during navigation?
EDIT:
I can confirm the software works without any tweaks. All I did was combine the map, voice, language, building etc files into the "content" folder and copied the entire iGo8 folder to the MicroSD card.

Ive downloaded the new skin for 800x400 devices and placed the zipped file in content/skin but the skin icon is greyed out, does anyone know how to resolve this.

Thanks for not including cyberon vc it makes it much easier to get ms vc going.
Everything else seems to work just fine, but voice dialling ain't working (Error opening the short cut). This same happened with lvsw's version (and with Black 3.0).
How do I fix this?

there's a high speed HTTP mirror posted in the forum that the original posters link links to. i'm anti rapidshare, hence me starting up the file hosting thing!
I found another problem, that I never had before When I change anything via control panel Today, then nothing really happend, only after SR.This is odd, because if I want to use SPB products, then I must SR device each time, I make any changes. Till now I did not read or search on forum about this problem (or if somebody actually have same problem as I), I going to flash device again only if problem did not dissapear, then I start looking for answers.
PS: with original LVSW last version this problem was not.

For those of you who want ms vc over headset.
Its probably best to not have the headset paired so unpair it and just add it after all the steps.
1.) Install MS VC 1.6
2.) Install attached .cab
3.) In programs launch BT Voice Command Config
4.) Check enable
5.) Click save
6.) Click Exit
7.) Turn off phone
8.) Turn on phone
9.) Pair bt headset
I take no credit for this program it was done by XCSdM and later modified by ZaJules..
This works perfect for me no other tricks or reg edits zilch, nada, nothing. You might want to set voice command to button 5 though.
Is the x-button works like it should with elf version? I mean does the exclusive click working & what build is in this ROM version? thanks in advance

u can't ..my way of doing it is to uninstall the apps, go to settings/remove programs ..and then install the one here http://rapidshare.com/files/32749891/WLM.rar.html
or another way, is to use sleuth developers variation of this LVSW ROM.. (it is pre-installed with the transparent windows live search bar)

Touch Flo cube because Touch Flo work perfect in my Artemis.Without any problem.

I think this has something to do with the Phone. I disabled the phone function ( I hate calling with this thing..to damn slow) and it's still @ 100%) I should also mention that i have a poor reception where i live... so my phone searches the network all the time. This doesn't do my battery life any good also.
Really looking forward to the next TomRom (B&B v4). Keep up the great work buddy.

????? all you need to do Joey is go to the drop down menu it the top right corner, click options, button on the bottom tab and tick end progrmas by tapping "x" and now you have your button.

I found only two little things:
1- the clock on the top bar is not sinchronized with the htc home clock (when this switch, the first switch about 10 seconds after)
2- every time I make a call the receiver volume is always set at min. also if I set to max.
Anyway, they are not important and Tom is great.

More Findings
1. Touchflo works well without the hardware button...when you finally find it
2. No obvious signs of the auto vibrate sound profile issue, either when adding an appointment or when an appointment come around. Haven't tested the auto profile yet though - just enjoying not having to turn my system sound back on every five minutes
3. The camera seems to work quickly and properly - nothing new or sexy to it, but working is sexy enough for me
4. The touchflo cube config module is better and slicker
5. It feels more stable and a bit faster - highly subjective, I know
6. I thought I had a few issues with ActiveSync at first - dropping connections, USb device not recognised -but that seems to have settled down
7. I haven't yet found anything I could describe as a bug but I'm still looking
Tom's done a very good job here - good work fella! He copped a little unfair flak around 4.0, as did the testers. This is not a commercial release - it's what you want to make of it. If you don't like it, or it doesn't work it's no-one's fault, just your tough luck. That's the risk you embrace when you move off of the OEM ROM. If it doesn't work don't donate - it IS optional - and use a different ROM.
This will do nicely for me in the meantime.

Hi tom... everything goes well and works ok except that phonepad input problem.. bythe way i have a suggestion to the cube enabling process.. as far as i know in the actual HTC touch the cube is enebled when your slide the finger from top to bottom.. I think you have reversed it .. in this rom and the previous one exit is by this method.. If you can modify this setting easily can u update in the final version... If u cant also no problem as this rom is great.. Keep up the good work....

Does this only change the "All Programs" page or does it bring back the old style

The "Start Menu" just looks too close and squashed and is it me or is it padded

with this pack the sfotkey don't work.
The two soft-buttons on the bottom do not change from whatever was shown previously.
I use italian rom on my touch HD
now the buttons on the start screen are not working anymore
i saved the original mannila file and everything back to the normal.

there was a few issues with the 2 soft keys at the bottom of the screen not always changing or not showing the right options, i tried the file and come across the issue so i made a few changes, i think for the better

I would like to share with You my little app, that I wrote to make using HTC easier and more comfortable. With this app You can assign finger friendly keybord when stylu is In, and small keyboard for stylus when it is out. Unfortunately it works only on devices with stylus sensor like HD, Diamond, Touch Pro, SE X1 (I hope it works, I've tested with BlackStone only). If you have some suggestions, ideas or if You run this app on other devices please let me know.

I tried the Cab file above, it really works, meaning it will change the Imput method according to stilus in or out.
But if I closed the phone or make a soft reset, the first time I want to write a message the imput method is still the standard one
You must setup program to start service with Windows.
Do you mean select the option "Run at Start up" ?
Yes I did select it but as I mentionned, after a reset or turning the mobile off, the first message I will write will open with the standard keyboard... I then move stilus in and out and it starts to work correctly until the next reset or turn off
So strange, because program is started. Maybe You are using keyboard which is loaded leter. Uncheck 'run at start' and add shortcut to autostart. After this program should start after all proceses and services.

Hi Nitro, is it possible to launch an application when you take out the stylus? I would love to have Phatpad opened when I do so, to take a quick note.
I won't mind closing it the one time I pull out the stylus in another app.
Hope you can help.
