rom is legit, i checked it out and flashed it... man this thing is really f'ing bloated.... still has a memory leak, but is stable...
also if you check the history of the OP you will notice they only post roms... so chances are its probably not a n00b at all...

Shogunmark, is it any better then the other Official AT&T release.

Is this the same Radio ROM 1.48.00.0 that is posted to the Wiki (not sure if radios have build numbers different than the 1,48.XX.X)? I have been running 1.50 but signal strength is not that great and I may want to try 1.48 since AT&T apparently thinks it is the best Radio to use (I assume). If so, I will use the in the Wiki. If not, could someone extract it? Thanks.

well, there was a lot of stability issues fixed... it does seem better, the memory leak isnt as bad but still present... and other than really bloated its ok.. This would probably be really good if it were stripped down (hint hint vp3g)...
and yes, should be the same radio...

I hear an echo Shogunmark " if this New AT&T Rom was stripped down and re-built" VP3G?

@shogunmark... What about the issue using the keyboard to send a txt msg during a phone call?? The old release only the keypad works, was this fixed in this build??

My 8525 has a problem should I upgrade ?
Hello, My 8525 is VERY slow to respond. I have hard reset it. Also, I upgraded to the newest AT&T supported ROM (it was bought when it first came out, and had issues). I am still having problems, it is under warranty, should I just send it back or should I upgrade to the WM6 and see if that fixes the problems? Also, can I downgrade if it doesn't fix the problems?
Current specs:
ROM Version: 2.15.502.3
ROM Date: 04/09/07
Radion Version: 1.40.30.00
Protocal Version: 32.73.7020.16H

Yes, you can. Full instructions are HERE. Just check for the downgrade guide.
Personally, I would flash it up with some cool ROMs (guides for that are at that sire also). Then, if I had issues, I would put it back to normal and ship it back to them, but I am betting that better ROMs will fix your issue.

the gui is horrible needs alot of improvement and loaded with unneccecary programs and not even new updated ones old versions
These techs that work for at&t have no idea what they are trying to make

i found out that HTC's people build these to cing/att's specs... att has no involvement except for testing...

So which ROM should I try?
Should I go with this ROM, or try another...like the one here http://www.thegamebooks.com/pocket-...-premium-v2-full(22th-april-07)-f30-t630.html

HTC released a new ROM upgrade for Touch Diamond

I noticed that HTC released a new ROM upgrade for the Diamond. There are no details about version number, i guess i will see the information once i got upgraded.
Today i will install the new version and let you now my feedback.

This is the already released: RUU_Diamond_HTC_***_1.93.404.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe Rom

There's a 1.95.805.20273 release floating around, as well as a 1.94.161

so is the rom upgrade worth it did it improve performance of the phone?

I just installed it and haven't noticed any changes but the version change. the versions after installation:
ROM: 1.93.412.1
Radio: 1.00.25.05
Protocol: 52.29.25.12H

so far i have noticed the following:
- Performance has been improved
- Transitions between touchflo dissapeared. When you change from home>favorite contacts>sms>etc i used to see a transition between them. Right now is like dissapear / appear fashion
- The phone volumen steps are not so flexible. In the last version, i could increase / decrease the volume stepping trough each bar on the screen. Right know is like everytime you increase / decrease the phone volume, the steps are like every 3 bars.

anyone WWE version i have downloaded but its NLD version want WWE version can someone upload to megaupload or rapidshare thanks and also has anyone upgraded to the new release and what are your impressions.

It's my attempt to make clean, fast and stable rom close to official like I do for Prophet. This rom based on the latest Diamond 2.00 rom and 20757 build from HD. I'v been tested a lot of builds and think it's optimal choise.

- New dialer with keys lock
- Modified battery indicator
- Performance and powersaving tweaks

- SYS cleaned
- Activesync popup fixed (no more fake server needed + asynckiller installed)
- Black theme and splash while booting
- Only original (WWE) input methods
HardSPL needed!
Rom contains only OS. HardReset advisable after flashing.

hddeddie, I didn't try my rom with cdma diamond. If official 2.00.241.1 works - then my rom have to work too.

Does this keyboard includes Russian keyboard, dialer and so on or only version 2.1 from 4pda.ru has this features. It will be nice if you will place all your roms here and describe the difference.

ROM it’s very fast and stable.

lyolic, this rom contains only WWE input methods and dialer. I don't think that russian roms are interesting here, but if you say - ok, I'll post them all

HTC will likely not ship an official 6.5 rom as a requirement is a hardware 'windows' button to get certified for 6.5
