if you goto the facade forum... there's a guy there (sorry... don't remember his username, but it starts with a P) who makes lots of homescreens for the dash. anyway... find one of his homescreens and look for the link to his site in his signature. on his site, goto the plugins page and look for the wm6 softbuttons plugin and download and install (it's a cab file). then once installed you should be able to select the black wm6 style to work with any homescreen.

Seek and Yee Shall Find
Search this forum for the Black Gradient cab. This is for windows mobile 6. Black Bars was for windows mobile 5. I posted cabs for both of these in this forum. With my cabs: just install and change your "Color Scheme" to activate the black gradients or black bars. Black bars works on wm6, but looks ugly.

2. Even if you did so if they serve no purpose just uninstall them...
3. What do they do? The get installed on noobs PDAs...

haha NICE,
I think the outlook enhancment adds additional menu options and functionalities into outlook.. Not sure if the cab works per say.. and the smart touch,. No clue man.. Good luck

Figured they would enhance the outlook features. But I saw nothing. And the smarttouch was supposed to enhance the thumb wheel, but I also see nothing. Really wanted to see if I was doing something wrong.
Biggest thing I did wrong I see is ask questions to get a bunch of smart remarks.

i agree that the people here shouldn't have flamed you so hard (LOL) but you gotta understand that installing random cabs just isn't the best thing to do buddy

Oh yeah, I agree, but in the thread a bunch of people had installed it and no errors. So I figured that the outlook cab would enhance outlook so I decided to give it a try.

I think it has to do with this ... outlook enhancement I think part of PDAcorner's ROM ...
As for the other one, I don't know ... The hermes with its edges are not really designed for the touch screen environment like the touch/touchcruise so I generally don't bother with things like that.

That cab only seems to add it to "outlook contacts" rather than the msging app as well.

Touchflo 3d for Blackstone?

Hi there,
can anyone give me a link of where to download Touchflo 3d for Touch HD??
I've recently found a thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470164 which compressed whole manila files to make the Touchflo 3d relatively smaller and faster to the original one, but this is for diamond only, I'm looking for something that suit for my touch hd, if anyone got what i'm looking for, please let know, many thanks!!

dude, the Touch HD comes with Touchflo as standard, why on earth would you want to download it again ??

I believe lynne02191 is asking for a compressed/sleeker version of HD Manila (i.e., the images in Manila's qtc files are compressed) that runs more smoothly, etc. than the stock version, and this would be the right place to discuss this, IMHO.
I think with the inherent capabilities of the HD, as well as the wonderful cooked ROMs people are making, Manila runs very well, and there is plenty of extra memory on the HD with it running, so a compressed/sleeker version may not be a priority.
Just my opinion, but this might explain why no one is trying to do something similar to the thread you linked, which was done to make HD manila run smoothly on the Diamond. Then again, someone may already be doing this, I do not know.

I've already been searching for a while, and I didn't found any version that is manila compressed but several .cabs which claimed are ported from the original blackstone manila.
after that, I installed all of them, but the result disappointed me, since I've encounterred many problems from the procedures.
anyway, like what u said, there are plenty of nice ROMs around there which run HD manila very well, so I won't bothering meself from searching anymore

KWBR's ROM; 'a Touch of HD' uses Chainfire's CFC
and TouchFLO runs VERY VERY nice, mean it's night and day difference!
i tried the "live patch" before flashing a full ROM but it didn't work on the HD, Chainfire is too busy at the moment to fix that up

So someone has used the CFC version. Nice. I have been meaning to try out kwbr's ROM anyway, and haven't flashed in a few days

Hi Sir.B, thanks for letting me know that, I've actually been using the ROM 'a Touch of HD' for a while, and that's works really nice to me

TF3D Theme v.2

Hello!!!
Can someone do a TF3D theme like the new Diamond2 has? I saw that Duttys new rom 1.8 Extreme has the new look that is coming on the new Diamond2.

If you look att the ROM thread and in duttys thread you see that HTC has upgrade the TF3D.... to a much cooler ui...

dutty uses a new manila 3d build with landscape support. I didn't tried it yet as I own xperia and he hasn't yet released for my device but major hacks doesn't work anymore and, possibly, themes has to be modified to work on this new manila
But as It has been released form only 2 days I suggest you to sit down and wait or go to make a theme your own. Themes will come for sure

I remember Joshkoss had some M2D Viva like roms, you can find them in this thread.

What's so different then? I never had a Viva myself but can't say it looks too differently from images I've seen. Ok 1 difference could be some interface details... The Viva has the original TouchFlo 3D interface (like your Diamond), while our Hermes roms work with the 2D version where some animations and details might be missing...

manilla is a hard to tweak today plugin... so... dont flash it... so try to make yours... its easy to cook... or ask on the development threrad how to change that icons... thats all
