ive searched around a bit and havent found anything solid on getting the 3d style stock quotes tab like the HTC HD ship roms have. im using duttys 3xt and havent seen any threads about this.
just bumping
I liked the old one better as well. But I'm getting more and more used to the new one.
Why don't you just use TF3D HD?

Hey guys, just recently decided that I would reactivate my Sprint Vogue after recently acquiring the TOUCH PRO. I decided to do this because now that I have the best of both HTC phones, the VOGUE and TOUCH PRO, i want to app out and theme my vogue. I recently installed both wisebar and SPB mobile shell onto my vogue and also flashed to the new WM6.1 rom. My question is, is there a ROM or app that i could install onto my vogue that is a replica or exact copy of the TouchFlo3D that is on the TOUCH PRO. I know i will probably have to flash...."GASP" my phone to do this but i am willing to learn and since i have the TOUCH PRO and............."instinct" as my 2 back up phones, i am going to use my vogue as my experiment phone. Any help or guidance is always appreciated
There is no TF3D version that works correctly on the Vogue, as it lacks 3D drivers.
There is a M2D (close to TF3D but not quite the same) you can run on it, though.
nice so its here in the forum somewhere, pardon my ignorance, but i searched and couldn't find it lol
Here you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398173 make sure you follow the instructions. It works like a charm for me.
hey thanks for the link, but that looks a little too complicated for even me lol, i think i will read some more and learn as much as i can before i do anything like that

A more simple option would be to unlock and find a rom you like that has M2D installed from the get-go (this is most of them these days).
Hey chipp any suggestions?
Manila ROMs
In the same forum where you started this thread there are at least 3 ROMs on the first page:
Vetvito's:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413376
WDM's
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425267
NFSFAN's
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432487
there are more, but this is a few for starters. I am currently using WDM's v1.6 and I really like it and have no issues. However, I have tried all of the ROMs by the aforementioned chefs and they all work great as well as include TF2D.

The best roms i have used is :
Vetvitos - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413376
OMJ - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=30332
WDM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425267
Make sure you read about upgrading/flashing custom roms before you do this, as you can brick your phone quite easily.
There is lots of info on the forums about upgrading to custom roms.

Agreed... That option is idk you could say less hassle but its really not.. Because you still have to unlock and flash and then redo your settings but I think its a better option either way because you get a lot more freedom and customization when flashing to a custom ROM.. It will be smoother and an overall better experience for you.
By the way I have a TouchFlo/Manila 2D ROM in my signature
I wonder if anyone can help and provide a cab for the new htc album (with iphone like picture switching-plus its waaaay faster than the default old one..)
I want to use it with some roms that dont include it!! (old manila..!!)
Many many people that still on stock roms would also find this very helpful!!
Sorry if i am wrong for opening a new thread here..!
Thanks in advance..
anyone..??

impatient, aren't we?
True..
But i flash a new rom every two days..!!! its gone out of control..i had my hd doing everything right but not being what it is..a phone!! (tons of problems answering calls with s2u2 caller id over new rodium dialer-which sucks-same s*** with resco contact manager which freezes every now and then in the newer builds..etc etc!!)
So i said i'll stick a while with a stock rom or 6.5..(6.5 after trying is out of the question..even with the 202 build..)
I found davideuck v7 and thought ok..give it a shot! And its amazing ..! AND RELIABLE!.. but with the "default" album..! which sucked from day 1 .. When you try the new one though you JUST CANT go back! So i wanted to know if its possible to have it VIA CAB!! Reflashing is not always a good thing to do cause for me its like 5 hours or so..(all apps from scrath etc..)
SO PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP...!! stock rom people would also love this!!
Here you go...
I hope that I am not breaking any forum rules by posting this. It was included to older dutty roms. I think it is not the latest version but you have this real time slide feature already.
Have fun!
Thank you very much! Will try and report back!
too bad! didnt work.. i am currently using davideucks v7..
i didnt do something special (such as disable tf3d first or something..)
installed ok, soft reset. i can see pics but when i am trying to scroll..it freezes
Same happens on my device. Using Davideuck 6.5 V6.
I think the fact that its Duttys own cab for his roms means its most likely not going to work on any other roms but his!
After a lot of search i found many builds of the 3xx version of the album!!!BUT ALL PORTED FOR DIAMOND .. (vga) No one has the original wvga one ???
(if it can be found as cab could also be used in davideucks 6.5 v6.. dave said he will cook a build with it in the rom but a cab would be nicer for all!)
If anyone can tell me what this "new album" is I could make a cab. Right now I'm using a self-cooked ROM with Album version 3_0_19131221_0, and seriously think about recooking the ROM to include the stock Blackstone one.
What's so revolutionary about it?

Its fast..!! The new album is the version you are using, with the iphone style and smootheness changing between pictures.. Its from rhodium as far as i know..
Whether it's fast or slow depends on a lot of things apparently, it's very slow in this ROM and was fast in my previous one.
It works the same way as the old one in terms of transition between pictures anyway. And on the downside it doesn't rotate pictures.

So we are not talking about the same album! You would have seen so much difference that you could never go back to an older version! even with the limitation in zoom levels!
Back to start i suppose..

I think we are talking about the same Album. It was very fast in my previous ROM.
I can easily go back to anything though. I just don't care about viewing pictures too much. And even less so about whether it's like the Jesus Phone or not.
Can someone then port it from duttys 2.6 for example, so it can be usable with every rom..?? or at least of the same build?
New CAB sucks! I want the original! Where can I get the original! I love the circle to zoom that would zoom an image of a photo that was almost too small to see on the phone so close and in crystal clarity! This new album SUCKS! 1 level of zoom and it's damn grainy! Way grainy! Not crystal clear at all.
+1 with Molitar, I prefer the old one. On Blackstone we do not have hardware zoombar.

I found an $8 software called Kai's Deinstaller.. it actually worked after the update from the 1D. I ran it and back to the older album
Any progress on this? I could do with an up-to-date album on the rom I use...
Found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482251 and was wondering any anyone has tried it on Xperia yet, this could be a great way of getting android-like widgets on Xperia while M$ sorts our their widgets SDK for WM 6.5 . I'm thinking it could even be made a panel. Has anyone played with this latest release of FEWidgetsLite 0.3.1 yet?
Yea it does work.
I guess it would be possible to have that as a panel by just assigning it to secondtoday
anyone try on X1? Look awsome

Based on dr3minem's reply it does. I haven't had a chance to test it myself but I might try it this weekend. I've read that there are still bugs to sort out though.
I tried it out on my X1 now. Used it as a today plugin, and it works great! Lots of nice widgets, and everything runs smooth. No lagg or hangtime.
I tried it out for a little bit, but after testing out the Touch IT ROM, I haven't reinstalled it.
It did run fairly well. It's worth following and trying out as a today plugin. If you like the concept go with it. I'll probably be trying it again soon.
I've recently installed this rom on my Xperia X1:
http://xperiancer.blogspot.com/2009/11/xperia-x2s-rom-extracted-test-roms.html
After installing Messenger, SPB3 and Office Mobile I'm very happy with it, its the fastest rom Ive ever had and it makes the X1 an exact copy of the X2. But that is also the problem, I really liked the basic X1 panels and they aren't in this rom. There were two of them, one was set as a big clock with a purple background adn the other was set as a digital clock with a grey background. I've searched everywhere but I can't find them, does anyone have these panels?
Thanks inadvance

I tried that one, it was slow and it crashed on my a couple of times. I've had Christiaan's rom before aswell and it's fast compaired to the SE's X1 rom but so far I've seen nothing that compaires to this X2 rom. You touch something and its open in 0 seconds and it never has a slowdown. The rom you've linked has slowdowns on TileWave, especially when you switch to landscape then it shocks just like the old X1 panel manager. I'm not replacing it so that's why I'm asking for the panels.
I've seen them before, back when I just had my X1 as I remember thinking why anyone would ever need them since they are part of the software package..

Here you go. You also get the fishies for free. I'm using the X2 panel manager and it works.
EDIT: the forum isn't letting me upload the cab. just search for "SEgenericpanelsR3.cab" I know I got it here in xda

I searched but I couldn't find it, neither through xda or google. But you've made my day with the fact that they are still around somewhere, could you provide a link? I already have the fish and the panel manager (they came with the rom) the panel manager isn't part of the cab is it? Double fishies panel isn't a problem, but I would like to keep the panel manager that came with the rom just in case.
Hello people.I found a new Mobile Shell inspirated by Android compatible with our mini.i cant post the link but you can search "infinity ageye" in google and you will find it.I was using spb mobile shell but now i am using this because i get bored too easily! In their forum you can find widgets and skins but the most of them are for QVGA/WVGA/VGA screens....
Looks very nice! But it also looks like it is a dead project...
