Portuguese HTC Home Plugin

Here is Portuguese HTC Home Plugin UPDATE (translated from original) plus Weather cities of portugal.
Please note that you have to install original HTC Home first and you must have a PTG (0x0816) wm6 ROM.
Original world wide city list was totally replaced by portuguese cities only so it's better to backup original HH_0816_WeatherCities.xml first.
Original file posted here had a bug so i had to correct it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Este update foi feito para todos os tugas que querem ver o wm6 cada vez mais português. O primeiro ficheiro tinha um erro que já está corrigido. Peço desculpa pelo incómodo.
É necessário instalar primeiro o plugin original em Ingl. e só depois instalar este. Reiniciar e já está.

Well, first of: Please, if you're gonna write portuguese put on the "english subpictures"... (forum must have... and I'm seeing this complain all around the forum, including threats [from the moderators] to shut down people who insist on the subject...)
Bom, em primeiro lugar, se você vai escrever em portuga, põe as "legendas em inglês"... (exigência do forum e eu estou vendo essa reclamação para todo o lado, inclusive com ameaça [dos moderadores] de cortar fora os que insistirem...)
Second, point is they use accuweather, which is the same source of the Firefox weather plugin, so "good" that they put Brasilia to the north and most of time the climate does not convince (changes too much). So, I don't see that as a reliable source of weather info, even with the right city. I pointed that out to Accuweather some months ago and they did not fix it...
Segundo, o ponto é que eles usam accuweather, que é a mesma fonte do plugin de tempo do Firefox; tão "bom" que eles colocam Brasília lá para o norte e na maior parte do tempo o clima não convence (além das previsões mudarem muito). Então, eu não acho que seja uma fonte confiável de previsão do tempo, mesmo que a cidade esteja certa. Eu avisei o Accuweather do problema meses atrás e até agora não resolveram...

Hi there G77, can u tell me where can i find the original htc home cab to instal on my htc p3600?
At this moment i'm using w.m. 6.1 diamond core + mannilla 2d ptg rom from Zoko. Can u help me?

hi mate from portugal i install this cab file and all citys appear but when i turn on the internet it try connect to get the weather and dont do nothing and the original that came with my rom works but have a few citys only from portugal can you post an updated cab file that works please tks

I'm using Dutty's latest ROM in English! how is this one compared to it? in terms of speed, stability, etc..? it would be funny to have a ROM in Portuguese for a change but if it's slower, there is no point.

Is there some way to install these updates without having a computer with activesync? i bought my diamond two days ago, and i only have computers running linux.. kinda stupid to buy a windows mobile-based phone i guess..

Já instalaste esta versão ? Qual foi a versão hardSPL que usaste (ou qual a versão que se pode usar para a instalação) ?

Se o teu telemovel veio com uma rom portuguesa instalada entao nao precisas the hard spl. Se o telemovel veio com rom inglesa ou de outras linguas podes usar qualquer hard spl. Eu recomendo Olinex Developer edition 1.40. se precisares do link avisa.

o meu telemovel é da TMN. Quero instalar esta ROM e desbloquear a rede.
sabes se ao flashar a ROM automaticamente desbloqueia a rede? ou tenho que fazer isso em 2 passos : (hardSPL+ROM) + desbloq.rede ? (já tenho o software para desbloq.)

Blocking to language (ICD) has nothing to do with blocking SIM.
When installing a new rom, do not you unlock the Diamond to another network.
For that demand here in this section you will find that solution

Bloqueio de idioma (CID) nada tem a ver com bloqueio do SIM.
Ao instalares uma nova rom, não te desbloqueia o Diamond para outra rede.
Para isso procura aqui nesta secção que encontras solução

Esta rom e uma rom oficial que foi feita pela HTC e nao e BETA.
Hard Spl podes usar o olinex 1.40 ou Jockyw2001 1.24 MFG.

Opa valeu pela resposta sumitescp, achei que essa era a ROM que o tabarda tinha comentado no site pocketpt.net. Não reparei que essa era a Oficial. A que o tabarda comentou é a do Dutty.
Vou esperar a garantia do meu acabar para testar essas ROM em português, se bem que nem me importo muito.

Podes instalar a rom. Usando hard spl e a seguir podes mudar para o spl original para teres a garantia de volta. Nao vais perder a garantia para sempre, enquanto tiveres hard spl instalado perdes a garantia e depois quando meteres as coisas originais spl rom e radio tens a garantia de volta.

Que bela notícia essa então, eu to meio devagar no Diamond ainda, tb foram 2 anos e meio no Wizard (QTEK 9100).
Eu vou ver aqui exatamente como fazer o procedimento porque se não me engano é diferente da atualização dos Wizards. O Hard spl é colocado junto a ROM ou se instala?

I am new and necessary of aid, this forum is excellent, but already I walk some time to looking for and not meeting a solution.
If somebody to be able to help me was thankful, I have one qtek G100 and until one month was all good, and one day I left the PDA one week on to the PC, screen touch don’t function but with buttons it’s Work and not have guarantee so I Open (it seems all good) and I cleaned then I repaired that when took off battery and it bound the screen functioned but for little time now it does not leave to line up pen.
I wanted a upgrade Rom or an equal one to only test or explanations as someone can help with my problem.

Htc Gene upgrading problem

Hi there,
I just finished upgrading my gene to this wm6 rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396744 ,
but i am having some problems.
It seems that this rom doesn´t recognize my phone operator... that is Vodafone (Portugal) it keeps "searching" and finds nothing... Anyone can help me clarify this?
Plus i tried to update to another rom but now i can´t even get an activesync connection

Boas amigo, temo que estou com o mesmo problema, após o upgrade o meu gene100 não consegue se conectar a operadora (TIM aqui no Brasil). Não tenho ainda a solução do problema, mas posso te adiantar que o problema é no rádio. Verifique a versão do seu rádio para confirmar se é 02.71.90. O meu gene assumiu esta versão logo apos o upgrade com a mesma ROM que você fez.
Acho que com a versão 02.98.90 resolveremos o problema, mas ainda não consegui achá-la. Se puder me ajudar a procurar ficarei agradecido.
