Official Asus P525 WM6 ROM (CHS & CHT)

Good News!
Finally, Asus is uploaded official WM6 ROM for P525, currently available in Simplified & Traditional Chinese only but I believe soon there will be a Russian version.

I tried to flash the official ROM, but it keep saying my system is not suitable to use this version language even I did a asusunlockid, weird.
I think I better don't flash first since no WI-FI driver included and it left only 30MB of space, sigh.

Haha, you are right
Once the Russian version is out, I believe they will work on the official one to create the English version then it become unofficially official ROM
I hope they can also squeeze the ROM to make a bigger space rather than 30MB.

Now I am using unofficial WM6 Russian version,it is great.
Waitng for unofficial WM6 WWE version from AsusMobile.ru.

Btw, can the radio be flashed to english version? Currently I'm using Misar's BetaV2 WWE ROM.

Is any good Rom cooker going to see what they can produce with the new Diamond Rom???

I wish to have some Diamond's stuff on my trinity too!

I already download it... now I will try all apps and see what´s working on trinity....
Then maybe soon We try to make a ROM with this SYS and Build from Diamond... but i´m not so positive... the Diamond hardware is faster than trinity´s one....

For some reason Rom Donalds wont dump the rom, maybe as its 100MB + don't know, downloading polaris kitchen to see if i can dump it there????

I have extracted with ROM Image editor http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377514, try it.
Also it can be extracted with kaiser´s kitchen.

Did you already succeed in porting the XIP (coredll).
I have the OS up and running but can't get the coredll ported correctly.
The PDAMobiz ROM is also using a older kernel 19900.

Tried applications
I tried Youtube player, TouchFlo3D and some others apps, and they are not working at this moment. Tomorrow i will try HTC Album 2.0 and others apps included in this rom to see if they works on trinity.

Yesterday i only was testing apps, maybe tomorrow or later i will try to port OS and XIP.
But ababrekar seems to have sucess porting all to Elfin. Ask him, he must know.

Most apps are for VGA
It is hard to port them to QVGA.
At this moment the build has a higher prior for me then the apps.
I will look at the apps in June.
Personally I am interested in porting the USB Drive utility.
Would be awesome to get the question if you want to use your device with active sync or mass storage.

I tried Opera, it's working, but is VGA and in nonunistable version, HTC Album only show pictures, but when i tried open single photos crashes. I can't get manila.exe with kitches posted in this forum, but while is in VGA its no point to run on qvga device :/

Cloudy you might wanna try this fuze audio wave driver :#337:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412065&page=34 which is suppose to prevents lag in sound during music playback and also it cannot be install by us but by a ROM cooker which have to be put in the ROM ,it will be nice if you can include it in your next ROM updates,just to try if it works and solve the infamous sound lag in audio playback in almost all HTC fone

i can't help it... it's leaking memory as well what i mean to say is that... i've kept it running for a while... used a few apps like opera, IE, a few games... haven't installed anything as yet...
and the memory now stands at 80% used... and there's nothing running in the background either :/
not saying that other roms are better - almost all the ones i've tried have the same prob...
BUT - it's better than a lot of them out there

the WIFI button in the comm manager is not working,i had to go to wifi setting and turn on the wifi.

Did someone changed the keyboard language?

I want to include the new keyboard as soon as possible, surely!

Now the new Keyboard is included without the arrows! It has a little bug with the number pad (the one you can access from normal QWERTZ mode) but this will be solved with the next Manila2 bugfix!

Thanks for this one .. to bad i'm getting a filesys.exe error after installing this one
using alphazeros aztor x2 ultimate rom

There seems to be a bug with the time zones and daylight saving time.
Everytime I chose a city it is one hour off.
If I choose Europe/Berlin in clock settings I'm getting western Africa time.
Anyone else got this problem?

No bevcause there are enough WWE ROMs outside of the board! It's useless in my eyes!

Camera issue
Hi,
congratulation to this greate quick and stable rom. Maybe I found a little bug.
Can anybody agree a problem with the camera function. When I start the camera mode, I didn't see a liveview of the camera. After a shot a picture, I'm getting the picture I shot. This issue is independent of the mode (camera, video, mms,...)
@asticinzano: My worldtime function is ok. I had an offset of 1h to my local time. After I adjust this offset, other citys are ok then. I don't know, why there was an offset for the localtime and a different timezone (westafrica) was selected. Maybe the reason is, that activeSync is synchronising the choosen timesetting with the pc time. If a wrong timezone is selected (like westafrica), the localtime will be shifted around the (wrong) choosen timezone. Whatever, I correct the time for the localzone and then everything was ok.

Yes and no cuz i dont think htc wil release a wm6.5 for the Diamond.
this rom is from a good chef i like it thats the reason im share it

Isn´t really fast and the cook could have removed a lot of the crap like getting started, etc. Looks not like much work. But it´s a lot of potential in this rom.
Found some bugs, Can´t enable/disable wifi on commanager. Some iconbackgrounds don´t match the backgroundcolor. Some select fields are stretched.

MY phone has crashed man and it is stuck in a loop, shows the Touch Diamond logo doesn't do anything and then reset, HELP!
im good got it except stock rom

By my works wifi very wel on of no problem.
maybe hard reset en flash again.
the icons?? i work whit this rom everyday without problem

dont forget to use olinex 1.40 of 1.93
and please read before flash any rom.
