[schaps, need your help!] htc touch on wm6

Hi folks, I found some htc touch .cab files.

(I know it is is the wizard section but the .cabs are the same.)
I would like to have these work on my wm6. (HTC Home Plug (For example))
I know about jj black shadow, but its English and I finaly have schaps dutchs version, so i really need the cabs the work on my ppc..
somebody any ideas?

It is working on the TyTN...
i've installed the home plugin and works very fine..
there are a couple of threads here in this forum with info about this, you can search and found some usefull tips about how it works and configure the app.

I installed it too, but i think it doesnt work on schaps roms. because when I install those cabs, its says after install "this is a old version so it maybe doesnt work correct" ..I can tell you one thing, I doesnt! i get a empty space on my to-day screen..

On wich version of Schap's ROM are you ?
Because I've seen two versions for this: WWE & FRENCH... depends on you langage: The wwe version didn't work with my French ROM (3.30b)

I got the Dutch version 3.30A

Schap's will release HTC Home plug in it's future ROM, so I think he is already busy with it.

Solution
For those who can't get the HTC Home plug-in with my multilangual ROMs other than english, don't be surprised as those files were extracted from a WWE version Touch ROM!
By renaming some files or translating MUI you should be able to make it work correctly, there is no reason as it works flawlessly with my ROM, even in French!

Schaps- You have not included the Tao Midlet Manager from the T-mobile rom, which is a new one, as it is the only Tao Midlet Manager which supports Opera Mini Beta 4.
Please can you make this available as a cab (the cab in your other 3.54 thread is an older version)?

Hi, I think that's not correct.
I used IBM J9 Midlet manager and it works beautiful.
For your info, I'm writing this reply via Opera mini 4 and have been browsing all the while using OM. No problem whatsoever.
I can use the softkeys(left & right buttons). Can scroll up & down and even can invoke PIE to dowload files.
No problem.
Try it and you'll agree with me.
The text input method in IBM J9 is far better than TAO, in my humble opinion.

It tried to run my extended rom, I SR'ed it. Is there something I should know? Is there an extende rom?
So far it looks great, the twelve button commmanager works awesome! I get very weak 3g signals so being able to shut it off and use GSM rules...

Use the Advanced Config.>Home> then select all the Tabs.

nice, after flash the new WM6 build, now my Mobile Device Center in Vista are shown with the exact phone's photo!

Hi guys, i'm very new to all this so could do with a bit of help if possible. I have the UK MDA Vario 2 and i have done the HardSPL flash and am currently running windows mobile 6 black 3.0. This has been working fine for a couple of months but i'd like to try this new T-mob rom. Do i just download this and flash the same way i flashed the HTC black rom ?
Sorry for what may sound like a stupid question but i'm really not very knowledgable in this area yet

* Fixed MSN WiFi Connection Issue (tested OK with version 10.6.0034.0800)
* Restored back Phone, Calendar, Contacts and Help icons which was missing from Programs in V3.5X
* Added OBEX Inbox
* Replaced Resco Photo Viewer with S2V (small, fast and lightweight finger friendly photo viewer with basic features in place). Kudos to A_C.
* Added Today Agenda
Minor Issue:
* Forgot to disable Calendar from Today's Items, end up both Calendar and Today Agenda are appear together. Not a big deal
For those who prefer Photo Viewer over S2V can still download & use the V3.5X as there is no major differences between 3.5X and 3.6X.
I attached here MSNWiFiFix.provxml, to apply it kindly use File Manager & open it with \Windows\CeleCmd.

Yup, same problem over here.. soft-resetting the device brings up the initial configuration screen.

I don't have this issue after soft reset, weird. I did a reboot from QuickMenu, not sure if that was the same with poking the reset hole?
I will try and update here. Thanks for the report.
Update: I tried soft reset by poking the reset hole and I didn't have the issue you guys mentioned.
Was the issue keep repeating on every soft reset or only one time? I suspected it is because the SDAutoRun, if it didn't detect any SDConfig.txt in the MicroSD then it will skip the screen alignment process and do a soft reset and after the screen alignment process will appear, at least once. If this was your case then it is normal.

S2P doesn't work as well
Is it just my problem? S2P doesn't work again.

I have the same problem:
SpbBackup, SoftReset (or "Hole reset") returns me to initialization screen...

Cloudy you might wanna try this fuze audio wave driver :#337:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412065&page=34 which is suppose to prevents lag in sound during music playback and also it cannot be install by us but by a ROM cooker which have to be put in the ROM ,it will be nice if you can include it in your next ROM updates,just to try if it works and solve the infamous sound lag in audio playback in almost all HTC fone

i can't help it... it's leaking memory as well what i mean to say is that... i've kept it running for a while... used a few apps like opera, IE, a few games... haven't installed anything as yet...
and the memory now stands at 80% used... and there's nothing running in the background either :/
not saying that other roms are better - almost all the ones i've tried have the same prob...
BUT - it's better than a lot of them out there

the WIFI button in the comm manager is not working,i had to go to wifi setting and turn on the wifi.

here's the keymap file cuz i noticed some keys were more british english than american english. let me know if i missed any keep up the great work alekSS!

i dont know what you did to this ROM but a HUGE HUGE thanks my friend! My ISP has been working on the lines this past week and i had the 3vo rom. i have my dash tethered to my PC. with that rom i averaged 60kbps. with this rom i average 170kbps. Nice!

New release of ROM for all, who liked my ROMs .

I tried to flash it but it kept going into DOS mode and said could not detect the phone. I tried a couple times then flashed over to the latest 3VO with ease. Maybe theres some different steps or something im not aware of that prevented me from flashing over, Im just letting you know
