but do you have just the icon's files of the battery that i could paste in the 'windows' folder, because the cab doesn't change only the battery icons, it changes the pin keypad and the rest of the icons in the taskbar which are thiner.

What do you mean by the rest of the icons?
If you didn't install any other taskbar previously my cab should only update the battery and leave all the rest as standard...

i didn't install any other taskbar. So your cab only updates the battery icon. Problem is that your battery icon is sooooo good, the normal icons look sooo ugly now

I didn't install anything else and the cab also changes the rest of the icons which are now thiner (you can see it on the 'H'), and it also changes the pin keypad which is now smaller.
Do you have only the files for the battery icons that i could paste in the 'windows' folder?

I've attached the Icons even if I'm not sure what you are trying to do saving the icons in the windows folder...
Which version of Windows Mobile do you have?
This CAB is only for Windows Mobile 6.5 and should not be installed in 6.1 !
Could you please explain it better?

I'm sorry but what you are trying to do won't work!
there are no standard set of icons to replace, and this cab should only installed in wm 6.5. I suggest you to uninstall it!
If you like the icons then you should really have a look at other taskbars that will work with 6.1!

Good idea Customizing the TaskBar is still on my to-do list ! I tried it once with the .cab posted above but that didn't work well with Opera so I uninstalled. Curious to see what other .cabs will be posted here...

We need separate cabs for coloring the Volume bar (green and blue) and also cabs for the icons in the bottom bar (home, contacts, etc).
I would also suggest that we don't upload complete themes, but rather stand alone cabs so that everyone can modify their HD as they wish.

If this is possible it would be great. Is the volume control overlay in the same .dll as the volume icon, however? I thought this might be the case, but am not sure.
Also, I would be eternally grateful if someone could get the start icon in post #1 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=460309 working. I have tried my best, but just can't get it to look right.

You are absolutely correct. However, when I started using the nickname I misspelled it and haven't bothered to change it ever since.
This seems like a good place to ask this: is there a way to display the battery indicator AND the clock on the taskbar at the same time? I want both icons on there, but ít seems that that is mutually exclusive

You can use Wisbar Advance (google), that is the only way I know of...

Hadn't come across this 'tutorial' yet It worked like a charm and appearantly so far without any side-effects (only too bad it changed the Start-logo aswell...but you can't win 'em all) ! Thanks for pointing it out to me

Not EXACTLY what you asked for... But you could monitor the battery status by using one of the cabs in <this thread>. That way you CAN see both the clock and battery status at the same time

Volume control colour not changed
Hey guys i installed the cab to get the taskbar icons and it worked but i couldn't get the volume bars to change to green as shown in the screenshot has anyone else had this problem?

What you could try is one of the battery bars (long bar right at the top of the screen about 2 pixel height) and just use the clock icon ?
WkTask is free and excellent. It includes a top bar for battery.

having problems with this one. doesn't work with singh's 15 tabs and it doesn't skin the stocks or settings tab
the status icons work great though as does the transparent clock.

This TF3D changes only default icons from your Tf3D and replace with the new ones posted here. If you see italian language on my screenshoot don't panic...it won't change your default language...this cab changes only icons in TF3D (new manila V3)!!!
I suggest to install the cab into the internal storage!!!
Also I suggest you to use only vista or windows 7 wallpapers!!!!

The task bar is something else entirely, you can find different task bar icons floating around here.
These icons are for TF3D only and yes, they will work for the Touch HD... they look amazing on mine!

i must be doing something wrong here but i hard reset, install dusk titanium cab, soft reset then i click windows default as today screen and choose a theme colour which is all working ok except my taskbar and bottom bar are a grey colour and not black like the pictures in post 1 ..

Did you place the Themes folder into My Documents?
yer i did what it said in txt file...everything ok, background and all just except the actual taskbar and the bottom bar is grey and not black

stange cause if something was wrong with the folder then i wouldnt be able to use the actual background and the tab icons

Thats the problem it should be Touch HD\My Documents\Themes\Dusk
The wallpapers inside would be read anywhere on your phone its the Bars that are folder specific. Try that it will work.

Looks very nice. I do have some issues with displaying phone signal strength though. I mean it doesn't display the strength at all on build 23518. Hope you can fix that somewhere in the future.

the screens from post 2 are from 23518 build i tested, so that's not the problem. what ROM/Device/Network are you using?

I also tried installing your taskbar and None of the new Icons showed up. It also broke the bottom softkey bar from working. Not even the start button would work.
And the one "change" that I noticed was the that signal strength bars did disappear..
I'm using Ark's Rhodium_AF 1/17 Build 23518 Rom. Also, don't have any other taskbar icons installed so there shouldn't be any conflicts.
Any ideas?

ALREADY I AM REMAKING TASKBAR!!!
i will probably keep this one the way it is and start a new thread for my new and improved one!! mainly bc this new one IS NOT dusk, its BRIGHT!!!
on the new one i have created the icon's background from scratch....hopefully making it POP a little better......dont think this will be a dusk, but it will be similar....
the other BIG change is brightness/glowing... really make icons STAND OUT imo.....
would LOVE to have some feedback on this....
again this is not another dusk taskbar, its just similar.....

removed the dusk taskbar and made it solid black...think it really makes it look nice...

Little bit of feedback for you
It doesnt seem to play nice with my bottom toolbars/softkeys in WinMo 6.5.X.
Tried and switch themes and what not and didnt help.
Attached a screenshot for you to see.
I love the colors and the icons you are using!

still no bluetooth icons YET
also added mms icons

just noticed something.....FOR THE BLUE DUSK TASKBAR i unsigned all dll's, replaced icons, then cabbed up....installed to my device and it works fine....
reason i think this is weird is because i didnt sign my dll's after editing....how is this possible....

Looking good man
One thing you forgot though....see screenshot....the battery indicator for me is still green.
for now i have left the battery the same with ALL colors.....
mainly bc the battery is always green when full and changes colors as it gets weaker...
i could change if i get enough request....
