yes...that is normal...it is default today screen of windows mobile...there are many today tools such as spb mobile shell and point ui if u do not wish to use touch flo...

yes, your still at your home or "today" screen its just TF3D is a "today" screen plug in, you can have whatever you like as your plug-ins under start > setting > Today > items (you will notice TF3D in the list with a check mark next to it when active )

Moving the HTCHome today plugin down in the list

I have installed the HTC Home today plugin and now it is at the top of the list of items I can add to my today screen. It is however not possible to move it down on the today screen since the move up/down buttons are disabled for that item.
Is there any way to move this today plugin anyways? Maybe a registry hack or something. I would like to have it as second item in the list and my spb mobile shell as item1.

It is allways verry difficult to help when we do not know which rom you have (name, version etc) which packages you have installed, like a list 1st) ... 2nd)... 3rd)HTC Home today etc...
We also need to know which version of htc home plug you have installed.
Now just a first question...
Can you move the other Today plugins so that the HTC Home becomes the place you like?
Stupid answer but could help...!
U can do it with any customisation software like memmaid or sktools, it's all about a registry setting :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Today/Items/HTC Home, just change "type" from 5 to 4

I'm not sure what I have done, (contacts)

I'm not sure what I have done, but when I first had my P3300, when I entered the TouchFlo mode by sweeping down the screen, the contacts section (the third button from the left, fourth row) was viewed in the same grey TouchFlo appearance as the main TouchFlo screen (if you get what I mean). I seem to recall that the first letter of the contacts appeared in the middle of the screen in a big grey box.
Now, when I enter the contacts section when in TouchFlo mode, I get the regular WM6 contacts list, which is impossible to scroll effectively with one finger.
Does anyone know how I can get contacts to appear in TouchFlo grey when I am in TouchFlo mode?
I have tried Restore Defaults on the About Tab in TouchFlo Settings. What should each of the buttons in the App Launcher on the Launcher Tab be set as? (App and Params)
Thanks

Duplicated icons in Launch Program list

I know this is a minor issue but how do you remove an icon that's been duplicated in the Lauch Program list in the TF3D software?
I uninstalled then reinstalled Memory-Map, now I have 2 Pocket Nav icons.

If by "launch program" list you mean the "Programs" tab in TouchFlo 3D, then at bottom right of screen is "remove" (right "softkey") tap that, then tap the icon/shortcut you want to remove, then tap "done" at bottom right.
From the Programs screen, hit All Programs to see the Launch Program screen I'm referring to.
Start > Fileexplorer > Windows > Startmenu > Programs (look here for the Duplicated icons and erase one of them.
Thanks kokkie.
thanks kookie for that two. was about to get annoyed with my phone for same reason. quality phone and site
itsloads easier to do it in activesync on your pc

Shell 3 killing TF3D

Hey guys,
I installed Shell 3.0.1 build 6501. Al nice but since I removed the program, my TF3D is gone. I just get a black screen. I do have the 'start' button and the rest of the icons in the upper right corner and the 'agenda' en 'contacts' buttons. The rest is blank..
Doe anybody know what I have to do to get this right again?
Thanks in advance,
Jochem
Try
Start>Setting>Tab "Personal">Today>Tab "Items"
Check "TouchFLO 3D" on.
Press OK.
you can close shell3 somewhere in it then tf3d will start again
You can use TouchFlo Detacher (you can find it somewhere here). It allows you to start and close TF as a normal app, not a today plugin.
Sometimes TF crashes at start when shell 3 is running, but a soft reset can fix that...
I use both TF and MS3. Use the 'Show Today' widget of MS3 before launching TF and you should be OK... You can change one of TF home soft-keys to switch between the 2 shells really fast (registry keys editable by the detacher config tool).

Smaller font in Start Menu

Hi all,
is here anybody who is not using TF3D and do not like the very big font in start menu? I tryied to get it smaller via SKTools, Advanced Config and nothing helped Any ideas?
Thanx a lot
I'm using TF3D so not quite sure. But isn't that Settings > System > Screen > third tab and then slide it to the left?
It smallers only system fonts almost everywhere, but not in startmenu i mean the classic menu what appears after clicking on it...
I'm 100% sure I had this option on my TP and Diamond.
Maybe it's in: Settings > System > Taakbeheer (something as in tasks or so) > 4th tab (1: Active, 2: Exclusive, 3: Button, 4: Other).
Perhaps put the second bullet on "Small Size"?
This option is only for Task Manager, but not for start menu...
