Is there a way to replace the busy animation in 6.1 with the one from 6.5?

and they are fast...and have better feeling

hey 4.02 is still the best one
there is no problem with manila...there is a problem with cookers...there are no more dedicated cookers like meschle...i am waiting for my artemis... so i can cook something myself

There is a problem with Manilla, in the fact it uses an awful lot of memory for essentially the same functions as HTC Home, but with fancy graphics. For the record, until Manilla 2D is either hacked so it doesn't use as much RAM, or there is some way of extending the memory (as on WM2003SE), I won't go back. I'm on Artemis Touch 4.02 Full with no cube at the moment, in my view the best rom around.

well the manilla roms are good but non of the rom speaking for my self I liked more then Artemis Touch 4.02 WM6.1 it has all the apps in it been trying to open it and removed some things like cube and htc home and install manilla but dident have much luck on it every kitchen i try dident worked cant dumb the rom maybe bec. i am used Vista or maybe I am doing something wrong

just wanted to ask around which wm 6.5 rom including manila 2.5 is the most stable one for you?
so far i've been testing all roms around, except the newest version of miri's (1.2) and i have to say for me the most stable one is NRG - Genesis, although Manila sometimes does freezes for some seconds after unlocking the device (with wm 6.5 screenlock).
let me know your thoughts!
tats very true dude...not only it freezes on wm lock but also with the latest version of s2u2. But thats affordable with such high eye candy looks n good performance.
Manilla 2.5 is still in early stages of development. So you going to see lockups until we can make it run good. For now, if you want a stable ROM, better stick with Manilla 2.1.

If the launch icons had been about half the size with a weather 'bar' above them it might have been better. Think I will stick to the old one!
The quickest and most stable build i've tried is Miri's v1.2. I was getting the screenlock problem on the other roms but so far this build has been trouble free. I would like to use the footprints tab, but I can wait!

I get the freeze problem on Miri 1.2 too. What application do you use to autolock your phone?

No, I totally agree. I like having the weather on the home screen, but the programme icons look horrible at the size they are. They need to be much smaller, and maybe just a small row of 4 icons at the bottom of the main homescreen that you can flick up to 16 icons in total instead of 9!
Hey guys - I've been reading a lot of news about the Motoblur UI getting ported on the G1 and G2/Magic but haven't heard of it ever hitting our Heros. Anyone know if it's possible to get it working with the Hero? I heard Drizzy is the main man behind all the Blur ROMs.
The HTC HERO kernel hasn´t been released by HTC yet, therefore all the problems when porting roms. ex. GPS, BT, CAMERA, TRACKBALL etc.
Anyone know if there´s some good soul thats working on a cool new HERO DONUT ROSIE?

the click/tattoo runs 1.6 and also runs touchflo....of course, it is in QVGA, but at least we know it's out there somewhere...
Currently I'm trying out the SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 UI and enjoying it as it appears to be faster than TF3D. Are there any ROM's out there that are as customizable as SPBMS 3.5 and as clean looking? I'm currently using the stock rom/radio and really have no idea what else I can do to the phone other than download more apps from the marketplace.
In terms of customization there isn't a whole lot you can do w/ the stock Sense 2.1/2.5 interface. Icon customization, taskbar customization, background/page customization.

That theme looks pretty nice. I'm a bit confused on the implementation of it though as it looks like you need to install a cab file for each screen?
I've honestly never installed it, so I couldn't say for sure...I think its just the first cab for the whole theme and then all the attached cabs are for specific screens.

Completely forgot, but as far as flashing a more stable ROM, here are some general guidlines. Sense 2.1 will almost always be faster than sense 2.5. Some popular roms include NRG Pheonix, NRG Leo, Valkyrie:

so, list roms that are 6.1 use touchFLO 3D(original one) and are speedy and new and doesn't come whit lots of clocks&whistles
