Hey Fellas,
Just got me hands on the new HTC Touch HD....wondering if anybody can give me the link or the software to change orientation to landscape in all applications....
I know this must be posted somewhere in the forum, if yes I am sorry to request again but I could not find it...
Any help would be much appriciated
Cheers
Those applications are related to the "g-sensor" of the device.
So thats a clue for what to search for.
I will name just a few of the applications that can control screen orientation:
FlipIt (integrated in many custom cooked ROMs (Davide's, Dutty's, etc.)) http://asapload.com/212485
ChangeScreen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468488
GSen
Gyrator
I have not experimented with all of them so I cannot recommend. You'll have to check and decide for yourself ... and share the experience here

i was browsing through the Midget rom thread... there is talk of a powertray being avalible for wm6. the link on the page were to :-
Screen Rotate:
ftp://xda:[email protected]_Icon.zip
Powertray (From Ivan's WM5 ROM):
ftp://xda:[email protected]_Ivan.cab
but both of those links are now dead. is there anybody who could get this software to me? cheers in advance....
In my case it didn't work the screen rotate icon......

Hi Guys,
i would like to put on my HTC Trinity the Touch today plugin (like the Kaiser one... with the big clock)..
How i have to do?
here you go
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317932&page=2
a simple search would help you find it, there is not reason to post new threads all the time... next time just try to search the forums, and 99% of the time you will find answers to all your questions...
I just had a look to that thread but i noticed 2 problems:
1. it's in French...
2. it has a bug... every SR i have to disable and enable to make it work.
is there any onther version that works perfectly as on the HTC Touch?
Thanks
what you are talking about is the touchflo and at the moment from what ive read it doesnt work completely on the P3600 as it does on the touch
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=313280&highlight=touchflo
n no i'm not talking about the Touch Fluo.... but simply about the today plug in.
Thanks
Search really is your best friend. As the site search isn't the best try this: http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=+site:http://forum.xda-developers.com&hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all
you WILL find what you're looking for . Search for Kaiser 5 tab or kaiser 6 tab. schen's one is great - I recommend the 5 tab as the profiles tab for the ringer is a bit screwy and slows the Trinity down. Also you can find the colour icons!!
The HTC home plugin can be installed as a cab file (try searching for JUVS HTC Home Plug), however it's buggy installed this way as it was meant to be installed into the rom. There are also several cooked roms you could flash to have this plugin, mine and PDAVIET I know for a fact have this.
If you are running WM5 (you shouldn't be, you're in the wm6 forum) it's extremely buggy, you need the wm5 hacked version of the plugin that's in the developers forum...
Wow, you need to read and search some more. I don't say this to be rude, but you have started 23 new threads on xda....

Actually that hacked 6 tab version appears to have that bug, not the original JUVS home plugin, which if you install the 6tab registry edits seems to work great.

now that i have the info i was serching for (JUVS) i can reallyt make a search.

How is this possible? Which ROM is that?
Thank you very much for your response
Any ideas guys?
Hi,
this is a Hermes Rom with elements of Touch.
wfg
Starbase64
think this is the newest one,
someone correct me if i'm wrong
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336234
But the Cube in this video is is full 3D with contact's picture real time rendering....
And how about scrolling Settings & Programs with a finger? My FTouchFlo doesn't do that
Look similar to Slither2006's HTC Cube OpenGL (SCLPC++ 0-051)(Coded from scratch in C++) , perhaps?
My opinion is, that this is only usage of existing elements ported from Touch and Kaiser - S2U2, HTC Home, FTouchFLO + SCLPC++, Pocket CM Contacts etc.
For me is also FTouchFlo working with finger, it is about correct gesture a presure. Using all these features except Pocket CM and it is working similar.
On this preview is missing f.e. HTC Large Start Menu and other minor portations as Random Access...
Very Cool !
I must say the customisations this guy showed off in the video are super cool. I havent seen this version of the cube anywhere. Not sure how he was using the full page scroll function and other smooth animations either. Wish there was some way of contacting the chap who posted it to ask him what applications he was using.
Anyone with any knowledge please enlighten us !
Cheers.

He confirmed with me today it is Slithers....
I've installed it today... Looks great but the configuration is horrible
Hi guys just to quickly ask for some advice.
Im new to flashing my TP2 and have some awesome experiences, would just like to say thanks for all the chefs that take the time and effort to do this for us.
The problem i need help with so far i havent managed to find a ROM with the LEO home screen ( Time weather and 3 app/widget placements underneath) and the contacts using the thumbnails but that can also be used in landscape mode.
Ive tried so many ROMS now that im surprised i havent found a link yet to one that has these and is getting great reviews.
Any help given would be appreciated.

The Leo ROM isn't made for landscape since the Leo has no physical keyboard; as such, there is no currently existing ROM that has what you want.
Iv done my best to search for this but only get bogged down by dozens of other posts.
In short will Manilla ever be updated to work for the landscape mode? Or is hacking it to be as wide as possible the best we can hope for? Only reason being i adore my phone, but god forbid someone opens it up on anything other then opera/music.
Cheers guys
anybody at all?
I'm thinking until HTC comes out with a HD2 variant with a hardware keyboard, we won't have TF3D 2.5 landscape working properly.
But consider this: It's a miracle that the developers here ported it to our device in the first place..
Thank you for your reply & I couldnt agree more!
