stuck in new 3.03.0000 bootloader

Hi,
I tryed to upgrade to WM6 but I think I tit someting wrong, I flasht my
old WM5 back but now it is not possible to try flashing to WM6.
stuck in new 3.03.0000 bootloader.
I hope somebody can help me, thanks

I was success full in flashing the WM5 rom back on the device, now I am trying to install hard SPL and WM6 as describe on TRINITYGUIDES.INFO but stuck by the start.
Hard SPL will not flash I see on my Red,Green,Blue screen IPL-SSPL, SPL-1.07.ds , yes I am new with this matter an my English is not too well but please.

When I start to flash the sync. is oke but when the bootloader screen appears the flashing stops and the PDA is not connected anymore.

Try to launch again your update while you're in bootloader mode...It should work !!

I just did it but when my device is in bootloader mode there is now
connection with my notebook (VISTA) anymore. When I restart my
PDA the connection is established.

there is a wiki guide to flashing under vista..
please note, that when you start the updater, and your device goes in to bootloader, it times out. So connection is lost. Simply start the update again, with device still connected in bootloader

Yes I did already as you describe the result is still no connection (error).

hmm... i think you're gonna have to use Pof's splxploit to load hard-spl and then flash another ROM from there.

It's a question of whether SPL 3.03 is exploitable in the same way...

you need to use the active sync after you load wm5 ... that's the trick..

I have allways start the update twice, Once where the device starts in this 3-Colors boot screen and a second time to start the Flashing process.
Do not tuch the device Just clos update application on Windows PC and restart it and go through the question process until it starts to flash

error messages, and also what image you had bevore on it, I need also to know which which version is written on the 3-colored screen...

the answer is yes, splxploit works in new bootloader too.

On this moment nothing, I did something wrong by flashing the first time
and now I am stuck in SPL 3.03. I think the best what I can do is waiting for
the official rom from HTC.

I bought a used HTC s630 from ebay. The guy said that it would freeze at the loading screen. When i got it i did a hard reset using the 2 softkeys and power button. Worked for a while, then when i went to use it again and turned it on it goes to the homescreen but i cant do anything. When i press any keys the keyboard lights up but thats all.when i plug in the charger the battery icon on the screen shows that its charging but thats the only change. Im thinking that if i flash the shipped rom again itll fix it, but i cant seem to find it anywhere? any ideas please????

try upgrading the rom? Maybe that would help?
If you go to xda Wiki there is a Dopod C730 rom there.
Also, Curzz has cooked a bunch of awesome WM6.1 roms, you can try loading that.

to do that i need to do the hard spl so i can load diff roms other than htc's, and to do that i need to app unlock[ it which requires it to be connected through active sync. i tried loading others but i get error codes like 290 which is incalid vendor id. the only solution that i can see right now is to flash the shipped rom though the bootloader. does anyone have the shipped htc WM6 rom?

I have an original HTC S630 (Branded HTC) with original WM 6 rom, but I dunno how to copy my rom on to the computer, if you can tell me how to do it, I'll be happy to do it for you

I have tried that procedure before and it did not work.
Have you tried going to the agent in Cairo, JoviTronics? You could ask them to re-install the rom again.
Did you buy your phone from Vodafone?

I actually live in america. I bought the phone used from ebay. I just called htc and they say its still under warranty, but i want to try and fix it myself before sending to them. maybe cruzz has a copy of the rom?

what error did u get when u tried extracting the rom?

pls make sure that u have unlock ur dev
modify this registry key, and then softreset using power button:
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies
valuename '00001001' was set to dword:2, change it to dword:1
dword: any thing other than 1 disallows unsigned
dword: 1 allows unsigned

Not sure .... u can do a hard spl? if can u can try use mtty to check if the os has bad sector. U can get the link on how tos at the sticky thread "for newbie...."

thing is i cant do hardspl without app unlock which needs activesync. thats why im tryin to find the htc shipped rom

so it turns out that the phone i bought off of ebay for 30 dollars was broken, but lucky me it was still under warranty. i sent it to htc for repair and they replaced the entire board for me free!! waiting for it to be delivered, then ill pull the htc wm6.0 rom off of it for u guys.

i'v downloaded the official rom from HTC site
whenever i try to Upgrade to this New ROM, i get an error messege, "Upgrade ROM Code Error", just after it reached to 100% of the upgrade... the Diamond enter to boot loader and stay there.
i tried and installed a previous ROM Version, and it successes with no problem.
i even tried replacing the HardSPL, now with OliNex Unsigned.
any idea ?

i flash this rom in my diamond,is prefrect,but i cant use the connection setup in china, is say no databasic in connection setup. someone can post a htc connection setup for diamond for me and make sure support chinamoblie.thx

I've read all posts on the issue because it seems to be a common one , here's the story, I received this phone from a friend already bricked , what happens wen I try turnin it on it just stuck in booting
I can't hard reset
I can't flash, I either get invalid vendor I'd or model Id. Or curropt file ,
I already kno its not cid unlocked and apparently no form of unlocking was done to it ,
But in its current state what can be done , because I've tried everything already within my knowledge
One other issue is I don't kno what is the stock rom for it so I can't flash without getting invalid vendor I'd , it unbranded and just says htc ,

Anybody ? I know its a simple fix , I just wanna know what can be done

all i can think of is download the htc ROM (in the official roms sticky)since its an unbranded phone and hold camera while powering on and flash. sorry I cant be much help in this area, just and idea I dont know if you tried it yet.

i have the same problem when flash to energy rom, it just stucks at booting screen and i cant do nothing about it, i cant connect to usb, what should i do ???

Did you CID unlocked your device before? If so, try an original rom from the sticky posted in the first page.

it wasnt
but its offficial now i tried all the roms there
none works

Then CID unlock it now. . .That's the problem for why you cant use any other ROMs.

there is still no way to cid it because i cant in the stock rom for it
it keeps telling me invalid vendor id or model id

My recommendation is that you contact your carrier and see if they can flash it to an original rom. HTC also can provide you a solution and hopefuly they can give you the original rom of your excalibur.

It's not a dead case, if you can get it to bootloader your S621 is not dead try again to flash in different PC's and see what happens. See this thread it may be helpful http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=534725 because it definitely gives you hope.

Try this:
* Shut Down the device
* hold down the camera button located to the right of the space bar for like 10 seconds,
* while still holding it down plug the USB in and you should see the menu come up with three colors.
* This is where you load your original ROM and can connect with ur PC .......
* perform Install the OLD ROM (After Installation page seems to be stuckon T-Mobile Logo but give it 1-2 Minuts and it will switch to Cold Boot Device configuration)
* make sure @ll is ok : then Reboot
* Install the Updated one from NRG

Help needed, diamond bricked? broke?

Hi there,
A while ago my diamond started doing weird like the screen going blanc/grey and other stuff..
Now it won't even boot! Sometimes it goes on but just to the black screen with diamond on it,
after that it jumps off,
I can't get it in the bootloader or anything!
Hope someone can help me out

And probably at no costs 'cause i still have warranty!

I think they wil repair your device but it will cost you money because you have a modded SPL.
Your warranty is not valid anymore.

But i couldn't do a damn thing with it so this is for the better i guess..
and it worked before for me, they repaired my titan at no costs when i bricked it
