photo gps tagging - Touch HD Themes and Apps

i have enabled photo gps on my touch hd using advanced config, but when i put my photos onto iphoto (ilife 09) it does not pick up the location at all of my picture and it is cabable of doing so.
please help how do i get it to work???

Is there anyone that can explain me how this works??
When I take a gps picture, the pic goes to \storage card\my documents\my pois\. That's it??
Isn't this also suppose to get the coordinates and put them on the file or something like that??

right ... positiondata is stored into the jpg meta. drag and drop the jpg e.g. into google earth and it shows your picture with the right gps position.

Hmmm, I did that, drop and drag the picture inside the Google Earth, but didn't do that like in the picture that you posted. I also looked the meta data from the jpeg but no records of gps coordinates was founded.
Any ideas??

RAW Images (Camera)

I understand that phone cameras have weak sensors but has anyone come up with a way to capture pictures in .RAW format?
That would be useless for a phone with poor ISO performance and low pixel density.
You might benefit from being able to change white balance but anything else it would do no good.
Also if it would be possible, the gallery would need to be able to read raw files. It would also have a hard time creating thumbnails and viewing would be slower.
If you need raw, stick with an advanced point and shoot or a DSLR camera.
The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if future phones (way way in teh future) had that feature.
Though it would be interesting, it really isn't all that practical. It's more of a "I happen to have it with me camera".
I think you need one of these:

You can use a file browser that has a search feature.

I can't verify that this works right now (although coming from Chris, I'm sure it does) but I can write you a script to do this if you need it. I don't think these files come back on boot or anything, right? But if you have a ton of these files, it might be helpful.

I had the same problem and was driving me crazy. If you have Google+ account and uploaded pictures there then that's where your album is located. Sign on to google and delete the album. It will disappear from your phone. Now if you don't have a google+ account then I don't know what the problem could be.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
I disabled google+ so i know its not that. It says its a coversation.
So i went ahead and removed my google photos sync and it went away, have no idea what it even was.

I use Google now quite a lot, recently I've noticed that the "places" cards no longer contain photos like they used to, all other cards work fine as they always have, just seems to be this that's changed, any ideas how to solve this problem?

[Q] Problems with video thumbnails in gallery after update CM10.1

I've recently rooted and updated my phone to CM10.1 with JB 4.2.2. Was not quite pleased with the way the gallery changed. First, the videos I've downloaded went grey (only some appeared), the camera images and other camera videos are fine though, can't find my video without tapping one by one, I can't even see the names. also, was wondering if the update doesn't allow my videos to be viewed in the side unless I've turned on my rotation settings (which is quite annoying).
I found solutions like deleting inside .thumbnails folder , used busybox to allow permissions, clearing cache of my .com.android.gallery3d, rebooted my phone a lot, nothing works..
Can you guys help?
Here's what my gallery looks like:
