Default TouchFlo3D menu icons - Touch HD Themes and Apps

I recently installed the Sprint Menu Icons, but it messed up my TouchFlo (must have clashed with other mods I have installed) and now that I've uninstalled the Sprint Menu Icons, I have no menu icons at all and it's causing TF3D to lag.
I tried looking around on XDA, but I couldn't find the default ones posted anywhere. Who needs the originals when you can have modded ones, right? Haha.
But yeah, does anyone know where I could find the default menu icons? Thanks in advance.

If you you the Diamond Tf3D config tool to install your Sprint Theme, you can restore back using this app.
But I'm not sure if it'll work if you hadnt used this to apply your Sprint theme.

There are 2 ways to do that:
1-Using TF3D Config; restore default.
2-Using Total Commander/Resco Explorer; go to the manila files in "Windows" & delete them then soft reset.
Either way, you'll retrieve the original manila files after using on of the above methods & after soft reset.. Basically, you'll be deleting the manila files which will be replaced with the originals from the ROM !
It's so easy.. Good Luck

can i just delete att icons?

I just started over on my hermes, and would like to know if I can just delete the att music(and other att crap) program from fileexplorer:Mydevice\windows\start menu\programs\AT&T Music
if I could delete from here and get the icon off the start menu that would be great. I would like to delete other att icons as well. If anyone has done this before could you give me heads up to problems that may arise.
Thanks,
Nicholas
P.s i did do some searching.
You can delete the icons no problem. The programs will still be on you system just no icons to link to them any more.
the \windows\start menu folder is a personal folder indeed which you can customize the way you want and which leads to customizing the Programs folder on your Start Menu
PS ignore the "file delete of a system file popup confirmation"

Having Trouble With Saving 6.1 Themes

I am one of those dash finatics that has a colection of cabs, themes files(wm6) and modded rom/system imaging files; pretty much everything i need to hard reset and re "outfit" my phone while mobile. With the wm6.1 theme file format it is hard cause i dont know how to set the "chome320x240" and "scheme.xml", "home.xml", and jpg image as one "pack" that i can just copy and paste into the right folders, if i reset. its just alot of work to customize a full theme set, then all i have to do is reboot, or change themes, and it also resets my "panels", and "my programs" settings. I wonder is there is a way to have it like "theming" used to be with 6.0. Thanks for the help guys

I assume you back everything up to storage card for easy reinstallation while mobile. If so, why not just copy your \Application Data\Home folder to storage card. That will back up your scheme xmls, home xmls, and background jpgs as long as you keep them all in there. That way if you hard reset, just copy this folder over the newly created one.
If you modify the registry for all your icons, etc, then you should export your regs for HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome and HKLM\Security\CHome\DefaultSettings. This way you can set all your settings for chome back easily.
For your cprs, just make a backup copy.
Then take all these and put them in a chome folder for safe keeping.
You could also stick them in a cab or make a script that would auto install for you. But if you do alot of modifying, they would be outdated before you needed them.

Can't Uninstall Taskbar!!

I installed the cab of tsowentaskbar6v2 in my HD (original ROM) and now i can't happen to uninstall it. it keeps giving me an error. and even if i try to install any other taskbar over it, there are still some "side effects" left from it. how do i uninstall it completely??? PLS HELP!!
Taskbar cab contain some protected system files, once you installed one of them you should not install others over it.
Solution
Give me the direct link to the cab which you already installed it and now couldn’t remove it, I will extract files and give them back to you then you should manually (using Resco explorer for total commander) move them to windows directory and over write them, after that you can uninstall the cab.
This is the direct link to download the cab file:

Edit: I think you are talking about this: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28619&d=1239056657

Yes you are right.
Uninstall any other cab which modifies task bar
Copy dll files to windows directory
Do soft reset
Uninstall tsowentaskbar6v2.1
I tried doing that.... but no luck. when i try to uninstall 'tsowen taskbar' it just gives me an error: "tsowen taskbar was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?" And even if i press yes, its still there. its just not uninstalling....!!!
I really wanna remove it now. it has also changed the icons for today, programs and settings in the start menu. any more ideas PLS!!!
Does no one knows how to uninstall this taskbar???
tsowen, why don't you only help me with this!!
Pls..!!
Sorry mate you've got 2 options, one do a "Hard Reset" the other install trail version of Sktools from here: http://www.s-k-tools.com/index.html?sktools/m_feat.html this excellent utillity has a better programs uninstaller then the standard window programs remover! this tool has got me out of similar situation in the past without having to resort to hard reset
I tried the Sktools, but it doesn't even show me the taskbar in the installed programs.
but in the default windows remove programs, its there. i even tried reinstalling the same cab again, but the installation fails.
Isn't there a way where i can just delete and replace the dlls in windows folder with original HTC ones. i mean we know the dlls that this cab replaced, now we just replace the same onces with original ones and delete any unnecessary files that came with this...!!!???

Wm 6.5 - Titanium menu / Theme problem

Hello!
I have a problem with theme changing in Titanium.
Maybe all of you know that we can add custom menus to Titanium and change the order of menus with a custom Editor program called Chome Editor. It is a great app.
Okay, so my problem is that i made some more menus (Total Commander, Radio...) to the default Titanium menus (titanium stock).
The Editor program saved it all as cpr file.
When i install a new theme for wm 6.5 system i get back Titanium stock EXcluding my added more menus
I tried copy my saved cpr files (Which includes my changes of course) to the newest theme's cpr files (Overwritten) in Windows folder, but nothing happened. No matter i've overwitten, because the system can't "recognise" the changes my menu in Titanium stayed the newest theme's default.
When i uninstall this new theme and i choose a default theme, and copied my cpr files to Windows folder, then it works! I get back my changed custom menus!
Can anyone help me?
I hope it is clear for everyone what my problem is
Thx in advance!

Howto Uninstall Max Manila?

I tried installing Max manila on my TP2, but I must have used the wrong version. When the phone boots, it gets stuck at the "Touch here to launch HTC Sense" prompt.
I can get into the programs menu, but not into Settings. How can I uninstall this CAB if I can't get into Settings?
Tried looking at the original thread, but at 96 pages, the signal-to-noise ratio is just too low, and you can't find anything! Hence this new thread.
I really don't want to have to do a hard-reset!
if it is getting stuck at starting manilla you should still be able to click on the windows start button where you can get into the settings/home sections. From here untick sense and restart the device so it starts properly without starting sense. Remove manmanilla from remove programs option and then reinstall the working version.
Alternatively reflash your rom.

In WM6.5, there is no settings entry on the start menu. There must be a series of steps for deleting files and changing registry sessions that could be done manually if only one knew how.
There is a settings shortcut in WM 6.5, however in some roms the chefs have this shortcut pointing to the manila settings tab instead of WM settings dir. Obviously if manila won't load then this shortcut won't work for you anyway. Unfortunately I have no idea how to get that settings shortcut back on the start menu and working for you :/ You could use Total Commander to manually delete all of the files altered by MaxManila and then soft reset - your phone will then restore the rom's original files. There are a lot of files in MaxManila though, so it might take a while to hunt them all down. Use aiCabExplorer to open MaxManila's cab file and get the names of all the files to delete.

I tried renaming all the files and registry keys obviously associated with MaxManila, with no luck. I don't know how the files in the CAB get installed, but I searched for half a dozen of them and they were nowhere to be found.

Did you use Total Commander? File explorer isn't powerful enough to edit system files

TC for the registry, Resco for the files, but I have it set to show all types.
Well I've just checked - I can see and delete all of the MaxManila files in my windows dir except the homeservice.dll using TC. Don't know what else to suggest; there must be a way to get back the settings shortcut (?)
To get settings, change registry as shown:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo]
"HideSettings"=dword:00000000
