Question - Streaming app - Touch HD Themes and Apps

After flashing Dutty's Extreme Rom the streaming application crashes when streaming from orange mobile TV.
Is there another streaming application I can use - and is there a way to get opera to use it instead of the HTC streaming application?

Help: streaming audio in background

Hi,
I use the bbc iplayer service to stream radio broadcasts via Opera Mobile and the HTC streaming media application. This works great unless I want to turn off the screen or flip to another application whilst listening to the stream - as soon as I do this the stream pauses. I can't seem to find any options to allow the streaming media player to run in the background while I get on with something else.
Is this possible ?
Thanks
David

If you want to stream MP3/Video/Pictures/TV from a PC to Mobile then Orb is great. Works over the internet (and HSPDA if your network supports it) while automatically transcoding your files to an appropriate bitrate depending on your connection speed.

You have the same problem like anyone else with the Touch HD.
Most people just dont realize it. I started a topic about this, but got no help with that.

Remote Desktop to play Computer Games like WOw? Splashtop?

I have done some research with the Splashtop application for android. Its old news and I know its possible to stream videos/games from your phone.
Lately though, I've been trying to figure out how to play games over the Splashtop stream using wifi connection. The fps is fine, only problem is the input... what controls can I use to control my character on World Of Warcraft?
Has anyone setup Splashtop on their Epic Touch? Also, is that the only application that supports remote desktop video streaming?
My favorite is logmein ignition it is 29.99 but it is a remote desktop control that you can hear music steam video and eveything on your computer and controll it with your phone A+++++ app
..... using XDA Premium App
The LogmeIn application supports video streaming? Wasn't aware, I might give that a try, thank you.

Click to collapse
I have logmein and use it often, but streaming ANY media is not recommended. Music stops constantly and video is not possible. My PC is on a LAN with 12/1.5 internet and video sucks. It is just not plausible for that and for gaming, tried it.

Xfinity TV Player - CM9 compatible

I recently tested the Xfinity apps (Xfinity TV, Xfinity Mobile and Xfinity TV Player)
Xfinity TV and Xfinity TV Player work fine with CM9.
If you haven't seen the player here is the link to it in google play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xfinity.playnow
It (like xfinity mobile) allows you to watch comcast content on your phone.
Remember also comcast apps like to stay in memory when you "exit" them.
Xfinity Mobile doesn't work with CM9; you get a black screen with just the audio.
You can also use/download TVU Player that has lots of channels from U.S. and around the world
TV player does not work with cm7.. atleast for me, I get an error before anything plays

playing a radio to Chromecast 2 audio

Hello experts,
I'd love to be able to listen to this radio using your app on my tablet and streaming it to my Chromecast audio 2:
http://www.capital.it/capital/radio/live
http://radiocapital-lh.akamaihd.net/i/[email protected]/master.m3u8
Is it possible?
And how?
...I didn't fine any app really able to do it.
Thanks a lot
TuneIn has most radio stations.
If not you can try BubbleUPnP
Edit:
Just tried, I only seem to be able to cast it to a normal chromecast.
If you are rooted, AirAudio allows you to send any audio to any "cast" device. Demo is free, but has a time limit.
Use Audacity Android app. You can import stream a then cast it to CCA. Stream will go directly from source to CCA.
Umair
Doesn't have your Android a cast feature?
