I presume you have HTC-sync 2.04 installed on youre PC?! Wenn you connect youre phone with the usb-cable with the pc, wipe the notificationbar down and you are able to select Usb-mount or Sync. If you dont see 'sync' reboot youre phone and try it again. Sync is disabled after a while from youre phone and rebooting brings that option back.

Desire Bricked?

Hello i wanted to flash MCR3 and forgotten to partition my sdcard so i tried to reflash it but i cant get into recovery mode from Modaco because there stand: device not found but it appears in the connected devixes and if i connect it while i am in recovery mode windows see some strange devices....? Screenshot is attached hope u understand me and somebody can help me!
My Question is what to do now? I can use my ext partition and apps2sd and i can use my sdcard (with htc hero) so what should i do? I have Hboot 0.80 and a device from o2 Germany! Should i apply the original update from o2 with the Blue Build in Recovery? WIll this solve my problem?Or should i only use my garantue and send it back to o2? Or should i stay rooted with mcr r3 and wait until this problem is solved? Or will it never be solved? Many questions no hopes =(
bad news!

Dont understand u and this Post ? Sry my english is very bad and i dont understand what is happen? I went to recovery mode before!
try to check if you have the appropriate drivers in your computer.
if you do and you still have the errors then, i am afraid that your device is semi-bricked for the moment. check out the thread i sent on the previous post.
My Desire is Booting but i cant get the sdcard working and i cant get adb working! 1 Hour before it worked...Please explain me what is happen dont understand the thread ! I readet all!

When you plug your phone in to charge, or into usb on your computer, does it take a few minutes to register, or does it begin charging right away?

So it does nothing! It dont load the battery and it dont recognize that i have connected to the pc. Fastboot is working and i get my SDCard working! No i Connected the the sdcard with my HTC Hero and this is working and i backup all my data! Seems that ext and apps2sd is working!? Wtf.....!?
It sounds like you have the issue that has semi-bricked your phone. You would be best to keep a check on the various threads here and on modaco untill a fix is found.
If you keep it plugged in it will eventually begin to charge, but you have now lost the ability to use usb except for in fastboot.
Good luck.
Fastboot is working!
When i plug in the phone a sound from my pc appears that a device is plugged in.
Its shown as Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM and this device has no driver! If i start the phone in fastboot mode it Appears as Android 1.0 device..... Any solution out there? =(

The simple answer is NO. Not yet. Your phone is semi-bricked. Sorry.
Can anyone explain me why its semi-bricked? And what is semi-bricked? I cant understand it because 4 hours ago or so it worked fine.....
Wtf its and Hardware Error!? Woooood my desire dont load directly when its plugged into normal battery laoder..... ;-( ;-(
Your battery will charge, it takes about 4 minutes to start now that the usb is bricked. It will definitely charge.
As for the questions about why it has happened.. No one knows yet. I know your English may not be great, but please read the 3 links below and follow them untill a fix has been found.

Please post more data about the phone.
Have you tried booting into hboot or fastboot ?
http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/tools/adb.html
adb shell reboot might get you out of adb.
I don't know but maybe adb logcat might help you diagnose the problem.
Perhaps this is USB brick?

ok i've tried kicking it out of adb mode and that doesnt work it doesnt see the phone, but in device manager it says "android composite adb interface" and i dont know if its a usb brick the phone wont turn on for me to find out

fastboot/boot loader problem

hi,first post on this section . upgraded from the desire bravo, could do with some advice..
purchased a used dhd in good condition, changed housings etc,its running the latest htc 3.12.405.1 sense 3.0 android 2.3.5 .after a good search i realised i would have to downgrade to s-off etc.
my problem is i can't get into fast boot power down volume, pulled battery tried lots of times.
pc will not recognise dhd, installed drivers etc, should be able to sort that one out myself.
but i cant work out why i cant get into fastboot, the phone just restarts
thanks mark
Hi,
Download HTC Sync and install that, that contains all the required USB drivers needed.
As for getting into fastboot, have you disabled HTC "Fastboot"? Its in a setting somewhere. Possibly under Settings>Applications or Settings>Development. Make sure that is unticked.
If you take your battery out & reinsert, hold vol down then press power. That should do it for you. If not, enable USB Debugging and use adb to get into the bootloader with,
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
You will need the SDK or a thinned down adb package. Which you can grab from HERE.
You will need the USB drivers for that to work.
EDIT: Just re-read your post. If you have HTC Sync installed and you still cannot get it detected then there maybe an issue with either the handset or your computer. Check "Device Manager" when its plugged in to see if there is a conflict.
htc sinc was allready on pc from desire bravo, well just the drivers.have tried the htc fastboot uncheck earlier no good,re installed htc sinc as i thought it may be different for dhd,but its not.
pc will not pick up device, says drivers not installed.i know they are as the bravo worked fine.
i had read somewhere that unrooted dhd can be usb bricked, there is a fix by some french chap on here, but i cant do that because cant get into fastboot.
need to get into fastboot first i think,to see whats what, device could allready be s-off dont know.
strange
edit: volume button was not working correctly lol, s-on,now to sort out the drivers, downgrade and flash a nice rom

Need stock rom image

Hello all, thank you for reading my post. I cant seem to find the att stock rom image anywhere. Samsungupdates.com tells me that the file is not found and I cant find it anywhere on the forum. Would anybody out there happen to have a link? Any help is greatly appreciated. Im looking for it to help unbrick someones phone. It wont boot at all. But if I plug it into my computer and direct the drivers to the adb drivers I got when I installed adb, point it to the fastboot driver, the computer reconizes the phone. but if i go into cmd and type fastboot devices its just blank. or if i type fastboot reboot it says device not found. if i plug it in without the battery in the led light will stay red. the computer sees the phone, but nothing. if anyone could help i would be so greatful!
I think this is what your looking for. You will need to sign up for an account (its free) in order to download.
