[Help] how to remote control desktop with blackstone?

yes you can --- use the remote desktop mobile (on your touch hd)
How to do it right just google!!!!

i tried but cant have the result i have windows vista home basic which i dun have remote control desktop server i need help with all steps plz

sorry - I cant help you with Vista -- I have XP and I can run remote desktop..
but I've never encontered Vista...
heres what I did on my Windows XP pc--
enabled remote desktop conections in system.
set a password for my username
heres what I did on my HD--
opened remote desktop
in computer name I entered my PCs IP (the one that is shown in network connections)
in username I entered my username on PC
in password I entered my usernames password
Left Domain empty
for options check your remote desktop Options (in HD)

the thing is i cant setup with my vista home basic i think i need to use vnc but i need to know how....

can i also remote my laptop (vista) using a usb connection (without a internet connection just from pc to my HD via usb) or do i need another programm

I´m having a problem. I´m able to connect and see my files, etc. However I can only see in Portrait. If I turn the Blackstone in landscape, the Remote Desktop changes the orientation, however keeps the resolution. E.g.: if it is in 800x480, instead of changing for 480x800, it keeps the same resolution but in "landscape" mode.
Anyone can help me?

set your device in landscape first then start the application or try to install the newest version...

i am able to use the RDM but is the only way to get a keyboard working to use the on screen kb from the computer itself? because it would be quite tiny....with no zoom in the standard RDM, any ideas or suggestions? 3rd party program? i also use logmein, but not as nice as RDM

i'm using router at home, how can the router define the ip to my pc to be connected my phone?

hi, tried google but i dont get this to work have vista 64b driver. I´m on duttys 3.3 for the HD. I fill in the ip but i cannot connect. Whats wrong?

Windows Live Mobile 10.8 available on marketplace

Hello all,
I saw that you can download for free (using the new application "marketplace", in WM 6.5) the new version of Windows Live. They claim it's 10.8, it results as 10.7.0057 after installation.
It is quite a big improvement: there's finally a nice home screen, and it is possible to browse people's profiles in Live as well as browse and upload photos.

I installed the new windows live from the marketplace and it broke the stuff on my HD.
Now when I try to start the messenger/live, I get the error message
"WLMMessenger is not a valid Pocket PC application".
sigh.

I had that too. Soft reset should resolve it. It seems its caused by using a new kind of installation method.

I don't know anything about new features/functions or bugfixes etc., but the layout is definitely changed.
It looks more like the Windows Live Messenger on the computer. New icons, new notification-images and the window-background have been slightly redesigned.
Nice improvements, but not necessary for using messenger on your mobile. In the conversation-window almost nothing has changed.

With this new version... when in chat is very difficult to write with stylus... I need press with more strong on the keyboard

No problems over here. Works the same as usual.

I have the same errormessage with the marketplace version on Touch Pro 2 (Windows Mobile 6.5). Cab-versions works.

"Turn off device" interaction with programs using WIFI

If I'm using a program which uses WIFI, after the 1 minute (adjustable) timeout, the program stops. Is there a way to have the WIFI connection continue if the program is still running? Is there a way to have a program clear the screen, but not go into standby mode ?
I somehow 'fixed' this issue with my old Tilt (via reading some posting), but I don't recall how.

I'm sorry. it look like its my mistake.
the program that you can easy tweak the wifi to work in standby mode is
"WVGA TWEAK" (also known as HD tweak)
and there in the prog - 7. Wifi - theres the option which you need. just chooseee Enable
p.s. if you are using Energy Rom, you have already instaled that program
(in settings -tools -tweaks)

I already use it, also Energy put it in every rom of his (Rhodium also)
just install and change whatever u need

For WiFi always ON - create this if you dont have it ..

[Q] DLNA server for Windows RT???

I had a full windows 8 pc before and I used to watch my series using a software called ALL SHARE. However I am not able to use it with my rt pc. I have been looking everywhere and I don't know what to do
Is there an app I could use? or something I could do?

The only DLNA function available I know was "Play to".

Did you ever try it with other device? I use Surface RT with Sony Internet TV and it work fine. But for me. I have to setting Internet TV to accept connection from device (Surface RT) first.
