Hi everyone, I am looking for the method that can completely remove the "save contacts" from the 3g dialer in Diamond. Since I try many methods such as edit the rgu files or modify the provxml files, but the "save contacts" still exist in the dialer, can anyone of you guys show the instructions to me how to remove it completely? Thanks for your help.

Greetings,
I have an imate pDA2k wich has a nifty app called Simmanager (SIM_mgr.exe). I also have an IPAQ 6315 for work which does not have the app. I copied the exe from the PDA2k to the IPAQ and all is well, but...
It appears that SIMManager interfaces with Contacts and adds "copy to sim" to the contacts menu.
Maybe I'm way off base, but I think if Simmanager is installed normally, i.e. via a cab file the menu option would apear in contacts.
Soooo, does a Simmanager.cab file exist? If so where is it? An I "way off base". Is there another way for me to get the Copy to Sim option to show up of the IPAQ contacts menu?
I've seen this posted in lots of places with no real solution. Is the solution out there?
Tanx in advance

Here you are!
awsome boss!!!
where is the mms folder for mms on wm6.I can't find it!!!
It isn't enabled by default, but the installation file is in the Windows folder.
Open Windows and look for HTC_set.cab , tapping which installs the MMS folders in Messaging.
There is also an HTC_List.cab file, which adds a list of operator settings to the MMS Server settings, but I found the Orange ones didn't work, though using the Settings file via the HTC Website's WM5 ROM update page worked OK.
thakns a lot
i will try
Don't have it in Windows
Can somebody post the cab file please?
MMS ON wm6
I dont find it!
Some of the later WM6 ROM's have MMS integrated into the SMS folder
- have you looked there?
Just go to a picture and select send as...mms will show up and it will send. Do not know why they include sms and mms together. But as long as you downloaded the correct settings for your network, mms will work.

"yes. it's now hidden. just start to create a new mms message, and you have the option to configure the mss setting under 'menu', 'option', 'message option'."
Hello,
please, can someone upload the HTC_set.cab-file or provide information how I can enable mms support manually?
thank you,
dartrax
Hi guys
I'm looking at a way to creating a custom operator connections cab (for MMS, GPRS/3G and custom work proxy settings).
So far I've managed to find the TmobileUK.xml operator settings and the cabwiz tools, so it will make the xml file into an easy to install cab file.
My question is what do I need to edit in the XML file to create a "My work network" connection that has a custom proxy in it? At the moment it creates an "Internet" connection only.
Thanks!
I upgrade my rom to the latest 1.93.xxxx, now when i go to settings, on the personal tab, phone, then on the band tab, "select your GSM/UMTS band" there's only one option "UMTS(900+2100) + GSM (900+1800)" before today, I have like 6,7 other option, e.g "UMTS 800+2100" etc, how can i retrieve those setting, what have i done wrong.
Thank you very much in advance

Could someone make cab files out of the Dialer reg keys for me? I deleted them and can't seem to get them back manually (I did this after reading that "Save Ram" thread. Thanks sooo much!
