WM5 with Windows 2000 Professional

Hi All,
A quick question to those who know..
I'm considering updating to the WM5 ROM we have on wiki. The PC I have at home is XP SP2 with Active-Sync 4 which works lovely with my MDA3 1.40.00 ROM..
Trouble is, my Work PC uses Windows 2000 Professional and guess what, this is the PC I need to Sync to..
I think I already know the answer but well I, if I install Active-Sync 4 on my Windows 2000 Professional, will I be able to Sync my Calendar, etc..
Many thanks to you all..

Help...

Morning all.....
This may have been covered before, but as yet I can't find it...
I've just rebuilt my XDA Orbit, using the O2 WM6 Upgrade.... Most things seem to have worked seamlessly except for now I am unable to see anything in my Calendar on the Orbit.
ActiveSync tells me it is synchronising ok.....
The PC is running Office 2003 with ActiveSync 4.5.
Please tell me I can sort this easily - if not, I'm going back to WM5!
thanks

WM5 and Windows 7

So, we have to replace our desktop, and we picked up a new one running windows 7. Is it true that WM5 will not work with Windows 7's Mobile Device Center program?
If so, is there any backwards compatible program or tweek that we can do to still let WM5 sync with our outlook on Windows 7?
almost 70 views, and no help? Theres gotta be someone out there that can help! I am just trying to cut down on the surprises before we fully activate the new system, and explain to the wife why her iPaq wont sync, or have the correction when it does happen!

Sorry, I dont think there will be backwards compadability for WinMo 5..
I think its so old it might be time for an upgrade
One possible option i've used is running Windows XP in a VM (VMWare in my case) and syncing to Windows XP/Office that way.
Well, turns out whoever told me that was wrong. The system recognized and synced up our iPaq's just fine. So thanks for the help guys, but turns out Windows 7 Mobile Device Center recognizes WM5!
