Offical Rom SSPL loadermethod for p3600 d810 m700 with noSPL noIPL noRadio

For those of you with a device that is NOT supported for the official WM6 rom release, this is what you need to do to flash it to your device. It is a reversable process (save for m700 users, you all need to backup your OEM rom first).
First step, if you don't have it already get hard-spl:

Second step, flash it if you didn't already have it.
Third step download my safely converted update:

Step 4, flash it.
If you want the radio, proceed to use the others posted here at the forum...

hi , sorry for the noob. question but i'm not a native english speaker and would u tell me plz what u mean by "flash it" ? i guess uploading it to the PDA then install from there? or run it from PC or using sync. or ... ??

It has step-by-step guides with pictures to guide you along. By the way, don't do anything before you read through the tons of information you can find on this site. Just to be on the safe side.

Just one last question before I try :
You're refering to the "Hard-SPL_ZakMcRofl.zip" in your first post. On the other hand, I saw you opening a thread regarding the new "Hard-SPL 1.30 MFG - Oli.zip".
Which one should I/we use, or doesn't it make any difference.
Having a SFR/Vodafone s300+ I'm a bit scared as there's no genuine rom to downgrade back to in case I get blocked.

I want to try this ROM right now, but I don´t have access to rapidshare-like sites here in my office.
Can someone upload this ROM to a public server ZIPped and RARed with password (to avoid proxy to sneak into the file... it's blocking some downloads...)
I can setup a FTP account. If someone can upload the ROM to my server, I can share the ROM with people who has the same problem with rapidshare-and-stuff sites.

installed the rom.
but....
now i want to return to the original rom and downgrading i obtain a vendor id error.
I tried to cid unlock the device also and the error i the same. any ideas that can help me?

I've just updated the SPL with the one provided on this post...
It seem to be the Des’ Crash-Proof SPL...
I have this informations on the screen when starting in boot loader mode:

ROM working but...
Hi there!
First of all thanks for the trouble of getting the nasty bits out of the bundle and giving us just the OS
But... (there seems to be always a "but" with WM6) I've been having some problems with this:
- VOIP is nowhere to be found, no SIP settings anywhere.
- Memory Stick corruption. From time to time my SDHC stick goes crazy, showing up strange characters for the filenames and only a soft-reset gets it back to normal.
- Did any of you guys manage to get Video Calling working?
Well... the major deal for me is the Memory Card issue... Anyone having the same problems? Any ideas?

addario, there's really no need to post the same question in multiple threads..

This rom seem to not contain any ext_rom ...
The "Device Information" module dont report any EXT_ROM version ...
it's "normal" ?

The attached screen capture show the "Device information" tab.
There is no informations about the ext_rom.
I also cannot access to it thru Total Commander.
So... it seem that something is corrupted on this rom update...

I'm completely new to all this but have done my best to try and figure it out for myself but I'd still like to make sure I've understood a few things correctly...
I have an SFR s300+ bought here in France. The OS is WM5 and I'd like WM6.
I have allready tried out the "off"+"camera button"= soft reset to see if I needed to install a hard SPL : I do. I've downloaded Des' Crashproof (due to the reassuring name).
I can now install that by following the guide without backing anything up yet...
Once done I will have to copy all my important info and then I will be able to flash any ROM of my choice (English, French, official or not) is that right? If I'm not mistaken and I can install any ROM, which English ROM is the best (this one looks good...)?
I'd also like to know if I have to install a radio after this or will the one I have at the moment (that works fine) be preserved?
If I do have to install a radio which do you recommend for SFR in France considering I sometimes go to Spain.

How to make a backup of yer ROM?

Hi all,
I've red a lot in this forum, got lots of info on how to fix things (i really have!), but despite all the usefull info I got confused...so here's the thing:
I have a HTC Touch Dual (Dutch + Vodafone) where the language is ofcourse Dutch. To cut the long story short...I really like to have an English version of my WM 6.0. I know this can be fixed by upgrading yer ROM, but it's always recommended by ppl in this forum to backup yer ROM first before you replace yer ROM. The question is: How (with what tool) can I make a backup of my current ROM?
Somebody please help me out, I can't find any instruction in this forum how to do that, or at least paste a link where it's explained?

oow ok...i've a vodafone branded dual touch with a dutch WM6...i'll try to make a dump and up it..

Good night,
i was trying to check any post regarding this issue but i dont find anyone with the answer that i need.
I have a Diamond, bought in Expansys, but in HTC website i can only update with HKE rooms.
So, a question (maybe a silly one but i dont know), can i install a WWE room in my diamond (one of this in XDA)?

Many people will tell you to use the search button, anyways you need to install hardspl and custom diamond RUU in order to install most of the roms in this forum. They are on the stickys.

I'm sure I referred you last night to the link on how to do it (did I not, if not I'm sorry). Read the Dummies Guide to Flashing in my signature which explains step for step how to flash any rom.
EDIT: Yes I did - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4574531&postcount=3 and just as that thread was closed down so will this one be. Why do you get an answer and choose to ignore it and then start a new thread which will just get closed down again to ask exactly the same question. Please read the thread I referred you to (and the forum rules whilst you're about it) and post any questions you may have in the Dummies Guide threa and DO NOT just open up new threads.

Read it and if you still don't understand, post your question in that thread and I'll do my best to help you there. You'll not get an answer here as this thread will be closed soon by the moderators.
To find out about the Radio, read the wiki, but basically it is the radio that allows you to make calls

without the original rom, you are stuck in the mud.. (so to speak)
you might of heard of gold card, but all that is - is the correct original/ship rom put on an Sd card and flashed from Sd.. (we cant find original/ship rom so no point in gold card)
your best option i would say, is to create a new thread asking if anyone has:
"1.13.111.1 ROM DUMP.."
(finding the rom dump you need is your best and only option.. a rom dump might not even exist, but someone might have it, or be willing to dump their rom for you..)
it might be worth Trying the german 1.13 tmobile rom found on the wiki link.. (i doubt it will work but no harm in just giving it a try eh..)
