Help changing HX2795 from Spanish to English - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have only basic skills when it comes to doing hacks and mods. So please be patient.
I recently purchased a second HP HX2795 on ebay that had a cracked screen. I ordered and replaced the screen, charged the battery and booted it up. The first issue I encountered was that it is a spanish language version. I looked through my other HX and could'nt find a language setting to switch it to English. Searching the internet is what brought me here. I found an old thread explaining how to patch in a new language but I don't really understand how to do it. My second issue occurs shortly after it boots, it stays frozen on the owner information screen and wont do anything else. I was wondering if it could possibly be an issue with the new screen connection so I pulled it apart and made sure everything was secure. No luck. Is there a way to reset or reflash the unit back to its original factory settings. I did a hard reset several times with no change. Thanks for your time and patience, Brian

I resolved the issue with it being stuck on the owner info screen. Seems my lack of espanol kept me from understanding the instrustions on what it wanted me to do. Now if I can just translate it to english, I'll have another working hx2795 for $3 plus the new screen.

I've been trying to figure this out for days. Can anyone help?

Help !! My SX66 touchscren stopped working !!

Hey guys
I was wondering if anyone can help me with fixing my touch screen option. It hasnt been working, and No i didnt drop the PDA or anything, my screen is as bright as new, but suddenly sisnce yesterday it stopped working and no soft reset or hard reset can fix this.
My phone is a SX66 of Cingular (AT&T varient)
I have been using this for almost a year without any problems at all.
UPDATE
Amid all the hard resets, all of a sudden. once my touch screen started working. but just after few mins of use it slowly started malfunctioning and finally it stopped totally. Which kinda leads me to believe that there may be a software/firmware glitch !
So I downgraded to my original system and extended roms. hard resetted, but didnt work (since i cant by pass the touch screen alignment tests, im using a remote PC based software to control my PDA as its synced through USB)
Now heres my help query. I observed that doesnt matter what ROMs (system, extended, radio etc) i have upgrade or downgrade my PDA splash screen remained as the one i originally changed to, same goes with the unlocking of my GSM PDA, i never had to use unlocker ever after the 1st time i did it.
Which means. theres a place in the PDA where these information are stored permanently and doesnt get flushed when u flush ROMs. Im guessing what if theres the TOUCHSCREEN initiation file/firmware/software which kicks in everytime when u start the PDA from the same place which doesnt get flushed. And that Touchscreen enable/disable file is either accidentally disabled or corrupt !
Is there any such file of the touch screen initiation ?
Is there any way I can remove any such files from registry, storage and copy back fresh ones ? That way i would sure its a hardware glitch and not a software. Like I said, my gut feeling is there may be a touchscreen initiation file which doesnt get flushed even when ur upgrading or downgrading the ROMs; and that file is either Disabled or Corrupt.
Can any developers help ? Would be kind if you can pass this queries to our very good friends at the xda-developers.
Thanks

Dutch company, very pro and efficient altough tthe best way is to ship the money with the broken pda.
They have any part.
I've tried it 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy with the service.
Go and check the site
Hey Thanks for the link man, unfortunately Im based out of Asia so ya it kinda sucks as theres no repair shop around my area. Closest prolly will be Singapore or Thailand (i hope)
But im still hoping some techy at the xda-developers checks this issue and prolly be able to finally come to conclusion if its a software or a hardware fault.

after software update weird color screen.

Sorry if there is an answer on the forum, but I couldn find it...
I bought XDA EXEC from O2 Ireland. Everything worked ok, but anyway I done upgrade of software.
After upgrading, the screen changed into weird coloured noise screen. And keep like this for half hour. I'v done hard reset, restored factory settings, after few second screen comes again with coloured noise screen. Another reset didnt change sittuation...
Im not advanced in pocketPC stuff, so please help

Problems with my P3300, Help please.

* Pardon by my English, I am Spanish.
I have been taking with my 3300 several months and until for days all good.
Then, it was happened to me to put a ROM to him in English, concretely this:
ARTEMIS VANILLA 4,01 WWE ROM - WM 6,1 End 5.2.19199
And from to me it remains blocked there with much assiduity. The congealed screen remains totally and no longer it responds, or they begin to stump the colors and finishes the screen with rays or in black.
It passes so much in the S.O. as in the starting screens, it is more, there is times that nor start, is as if it remained without battery, but or I have proven with 2 batteries and happens the same.
To somebody has passed him this?
It has given the chance that right the day that I updated the PDA to the ground shut up, but nothing broken at first.
Some idea?
Thanks!

Hi LostLarry,
I made a translation few days ago, so here you are a step by step guide by Dzim,

problems with touch screen .. or do not know exactly what could be(android????)

hi all
seeing rapid growth which has Android on our phones I would like to remember that you are exposed to risks.
while trying andoid on my phone, on the radio 1.15.25.14, and a cooked rom, my screen went to crazy. I could use only one line of display, I tried to recalibrate but without success. I reset the phone (hard) and nothing. I put the original software in orange and recovered (I have changed and radio). a while I used that software, but I recently changed to winmo 6.5. Once I use the phone while it was connected to electricity, and I noticed that if it warms my problem with the screen reappears. if it is cold is OK. If anyone knows I want to help me get rid of this problem. Or if a physical problem to know what it is. I really like Android but I would like to remind those who already want to put in an official ROM that might think twice. Thanks and wish those who develop Android to do a good job.
THX
