WM6 compatible wif bbconnect

Hello there guys.
I got some version of Windows Mobile 5 on my phone working with BB Connect but was wondering if any1 released WM6 working wif BB Connect yet ???
Apologise now if this has been asked b4 but cudnt find anything.

Try searching with a google advanced search - limiting your results to http://forum.xda-developers.com
Try say "BBconnect Trinity" or "Blackberry Trinity".
It's there I promise.

If its there plz point me in the rite direction. wud appreciated muchly !

try the steps here to get bbconnect working.

Graytraveler, try .84, 90 did not work for me with a stock Tytn II, but 84 did. Or I used Dutty's latest ROM from Xda-developers.com and .92 worked fine with that.
Hchickers, you can try this:
1. Hard reset.
2. Change device ID, from Start -> Settings -> System -> About -> Device ID to HTC_P3450
3. Install a registry editor, such as Resco (www.resco-net.com) or Total Commander (www.ghisler.com, I use 2.5 beta 3). Then edit
HKLM\System\Versions\AKU key, change whatever in there (like .0.0.3) to .0.4.2
Then soft reset and install Blackberry Connect. This method worked for some people (they weren't using 750, but still). It might work for you as well.

even if this isn't any help for people getting started with BBC on there trins, all new BBC updates get posted there.
p.s. If u dont have bb service from your network before!!, then bbc will never work.

Anyone had any success with an ipaq 2410 as every attempt at it has resulting in hanging at formatting PS right at the end.
If anyone could provide a guide that would enable me to use WM6 on the 2410 Id be grateful.

I'm having trouble to upgrade my hx2410 to WM5. I successfully connect/sync my hx2410 with my pc thru bluetooth. But the upgrade process always stops at 0% and says to reset the hx2410. I tried many time and it is still the same problem . Anybody knows what might be the problem i'm facing? I wanted to install iGuidance for PPC on it and I need WM5. Help please.

You can't update device through Bluetooth - it's impossible
You will need a USB cable or Cradle.

internal GPS stopped working with P3300

Hey I've just install WM6 on my HTC P3300 and the GPS stopped working at all and navigation software doesn't even know that there is internal GPS what can I do ? (I dont reall care if I have to downgrade to WM5 just tell me HOW) Thank You guys !!!

Ok did you read the howto flash a ROM on ARTEMIS?
If yes you probably saw a line that told you to flash twice your P3300.
It often resolve flashing problems. GPS usually use COM4
You can test with free GPS software or with Navio software.

COM Ports
I may be wrong but I seem to have a vague recollection that in the US, the original ROMs use COM9 for GPS (can anyone confirm?). Flashing to a new rom will have changed this to COM4 so you may just need to reconfigure your GPS settings in the individual applications.

Official HTC WWE WM6 SHOULD work with any P3300, that couln't be yours that is not possible to run GPS part.

There is an ARTEMIS or HTC P3300 model that have no GPS inside ? or I've just misinterpret what you said maybe you can give me a link with a refresh WM5 software the will surely work with mine ?

No, All HTC P3300 have got a GPS inside (it remember M$ pub ) only some P3300 haven't got Wifi inside.
You should forget about WM5. I said that I am pretty sure WM6 should work with your GPS.
I can give you a WM5 but it is French orange switzerland version
Was your Wm6 an original HTC WWE version?

NO its a custom something (I dont know) but for sure not an original one please if you can send me link off and World wide English official HTC manufacturing version and i would install it ASAP

Try this...
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Clock & Alarms
On Time tab, make sure your time AND time zone is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Regional Settings
On Region tab, make sure your region is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> External GPS
On Program tab, make note of GPS Program Port
Download & Install VisualGPSce
http://www.visualgps.net/VisualGPSce/VisualGPSceInstall.CAB
Run Visual GPSce
Go to Connect -> Serial port
Set Port to that in "External GPS" setting above and Click OK
If the red dot in the bottom right flashes then your GPS is ok! You may just have to wait for a lock (look for QuickGPS too).

Did you reinstall the official ROM version?

Hey when I try to install the ROM WWE after I press the update button it sends me in a white screen and than he gives me ERROR 260 means cant connect with the device what should I do
p.s. by the way my operation system is Vista so just let you know if there is any kind off significance to the subject

Try hard reset
First you can try to hard reset your device (pressing the 2 soft key and reset at the same time) You will get a message, press the green phone button. If this does not resolve your problem... you can read first post in the forum, to learn how to flash a new ROM. Does your gps ever worked ?

Ok, the best thing to do is to CID unlock your device (I thaught you already done that)
Read this Thread carefully it will explain why!http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308242
Then use only this to CID unlock your device : http://rapidshare.com/files/119852558/Artemis_USPL.rar.html
After that reinstall the original HTC WWE ROM.

Your problems are from flashing from vista, there are a lot of threads about this, but basically you have to piss about untill you have found out how to install a bunch of old xp drivers and then no more 260 errors. When you have done that you can tell us all here just how you did it and post the drivers again because they are getting harder and harder to find.

BA Phone nosound need help

Hi everyone, I have my BA for longtime and tried to upgrade to WM5 before 5 years ago. and then it has no sound accept through Bluetooth or Headset. I tried to downgrade with WM 2003 but the same problem. Now i must always answer my phone with headphone. If you have some experiences with this problem please share me some.

Upgrade to 6.5 (either d-two's roms or sun_dream's roms will do)

Thanks egzthunder1, I tried to Upgrade it today but without success and don't know why that. I'm following this TUT http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630416 from Chef Tony.
1. Download Unlocker.cab and Repartdoc.exe to BA
2. Run Unlocker and i have already one directory's called ExtendedRom
And the next step when i run unhide or unlock it appears one error message. and then i tried so many way (rename "programme" to "Programme files" or "programmmes") but it has the same error.
Have you got any idea with this. My BA is from T-Mobile Germany.

well, what is the error message exactly?
if it is something like "target not found", then the start menu link does not point anywhere, and then your programmes folder needs to be renamed to "\Program Files" exactly. the 3 versions you posted are all from other languages and won't work.

TomTom 7 not working?

hi, has anybody successfully installed tomtom 7 on a hd mini? Everytime i install it, installation fails. And yes have tried qvga but still not working?? Any ideas???

The 7.918.9193 version in QVGA works perfect. Many people is using it in a Spanish forum.

hi people, just tried both qvga and vga TomTom 7.918.9193, installation is failing any ideas?????
UPDATE: ive tried some of the older versions as well but its still saying installation unsuccessful... im using the htc hd mini stock not network locked, im going to try a hard reset, see if that resolves anything, have any of you had problems or needed to edit something for it to work????
UPDATE 2: Hard reset done and still no go, if some one can pm me on where to get the file you guys used or lead me in the right direction,

hey thanks for the info, i narrowed it down to office 2010 because when i installed that all hell broke loose on my phone either that or the memory card i had in the phone as i replaced it with a new one???
