Guess the easiest way is to take of the back cover, remove the battery & look there = the number your looking for

Open your dialer and input
*#06#
DON'T press the dial button.
You should have a notification bubble in your taskbar afterwards, with your IMEI in it.
Or go to settings -> system -> Device Information -> Identity and IMEI is listed at the bottom.

that's a way you can get it! Another way, is to switch off the phone and look for the 15-digit number behind the battery! Also you can go for your phone's box and look for it on the side

No guarantees, but you can try this CAB. Just adds a few registry entries. It's based on a Schap's ROM with AT&T carrier. Maybe it will work for you... or not.

Thanks, installation fails though, with just generic "installation unsuccessfull"
This one works for sure but you need to inport it in using a registry editor. It is regitry changes I exported from VP3G ROM.

Remove roaming triangle
Go to this link and see post #25: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360452&page=3
Since the triangle will be gone, if you want to know if you are really roaming (like when I went to Canada) read the provider name in the top of the screen. If it isn't your provider (ex: I got Rogers in Canada instead of Cingular) then you are roaming.
Im currently running CRC's rom 13 which I love. Im not to keen on the dialer tho. for one I have a 8525 so the video button is useless. and dialing numbers seems really slow. Like I press the number and then a sec later in responds. Is there away to go to a normal dialer?
Also when I push the comm button it takes a few seconds for it to come up. Any way to fix this?
Thanks in advanced
ugly stock dialer and comm manager are pretty snappy, Just very UGLY

Is your phonepad sound enabled? If so, disabling it will improve keypad response.

hmm I need 3g dialer, as no point of having a video calling capable phone with no 3g dialer i will update my request soon.
Damn it looks good, but do you noticed that now pitch black is cool? Our taskbars have no more 3D-Style... strange progress... I like it anyway

Does that actually mean that this dialer does not support 3G net or just that the dialer is unable to do video calls?
Ill give it a try later...

Small question, I have little red rots around the keys in the dialer, is there any reason for this? I will try replacing the files again.
Edit: I now see them in your screeny, is there a way to get rid of them? Thanks.

Ones just a .zip with the files to manually copy, the other is a .cab, would you mind installing the cab then resetting your phone? Would be nice to know if i made it correctly!
And again, thank you edward, the slow dialler was very annoying
I am buying a T-Mobile dash off ebay that has been flashed with Windows Mobile 6.1 from this forum. I use Myfaves to keep my cell bill low and I guess the version of 6.1 on this phone doesn't have it. Is there a version of WM6.1 that has myfaves that I can get a hold of or am I just going to have to downgrade it to WM6.0. Thanks for your help.

which goes to a non-working "solution" and a dead-link.
joshua couple things to know about myfavs u do not have to have the user interface for myfavs on your phone to be able to get the calls to those numbers free. those can be managed from the tmo site and as long as they are entered when the number is called or they call you it is free. secoundly the user interface is really just a fancy speed dial for those contacts anyhow and there are a few roms and apps that can duplicate what the myfavs UI does. Good luck.

Another solution is just to make a panel with my faves no.'s
As someone noted above, you don't need to have the myFaves interface on your phone in order to use it. I have 3 phones under my T-Mobile Account, and only my son's has the phone interface. You only need to make sure that it shows your selected myFave numbers on your account at http://mytmobile.com . This is where you can manage your myFave contacts instead of through your phone as well.
Thank you,
Tim

Yes, but it's not T-Mo's MyFaves application. It's just a panel where you can put ANY of your contacts as a "Fav".
As others have said... you don't need a MyFaves app on your phone to make free calls to the numbers you've selected as your Faves.

I was searching for this solution a while back. Just follow this link and install. Go to the TMO website and update your Faves and push back to your phone. As others have noted... the app is just a fancy speed dialer. Goodluck!
Anyone come up with the cab yet?
i want it too
This is what I'm waiting for. But it seems that no-one have it.
hmmm I use the X2 dialer on my X1i and I have the option video call....
I click the call button.
I go to the contacts button.
I search one contact so that I see the numbers.
I select the number I want to call.
I go on "menu" and select the last entry "videocall".
Ok! Goto: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4988335#post4988335

i too noticed that even the video call option but after going tru the menu a second time it was gone with a and b and so on
btw i tried the cabs and the entire task-bar was unresponsive... video call not that important anyway
infact on installing the vtsetup cab, the taskbar becomes unresponsive along with the start menu button. so both programs and settings become inaccessible.
default official ROM already includes VideoTelephony support.
So it is able to install vt x2 only on clead ROM o think
i tested it on custom rom, and taskbar works
but VT call by some reasn doesn't....
As I can see, nor Ethermind, neither Ultrashot, nobody else could make Vulcan Dialer work videocalls on X1. Besides zagito.
zagito, could you explain in details, which ROM do you use, does it include Vulcan Dialer or you installed it by yourself?
Hi,
I've installed by myself on X10 ROM on X1i.
I succeed making video calls on my X1 using X1dialer, that I got here
Yeb thats working
goto dail number -> dail ##634# > wait max 1 min. and voila ! ....HTC Function Test v1.01.01g

Great thanks.
