Im currently running CRC's rom 13 which I love. Im not to keen on the dialer tho. for one I have a 8525 so the video button is useless. and dialing numbers seems really slow. Like I press the number and then a sec later in responds. Is there away to go to a normal dialer?
Also when I push the comm button it takes a few seconds for it to come up. Any way to fix this?
Thanks in advanced

Is your phonepad sound enabled? If so, disabling it will improve keypad response.

Does that actually mean that this dialer does not support 3G net or just that the dialer is unable to do video calls?
Ill give it a try later...

How is it possible to change the phone Skin?
Hi
I've used some the skins from http://www.paulya.com/diallerskins.htm. Just copy the cab file to the device and run.
Saquib
Hallo!
I ma going to try!
thx!
dialer skin for wm2003 ?
Any one know the way to change the dialer skin like eten skin for windows mobile 2003
I've tried that, OK it works...
But when i uninstall it i don't manage to recover the original HTC skin (background is missing).
Can you help me ?
These skins are all very nice - but I'd rather just have bigger buttons for my fairly average sized fingers.
Any suggestions ?
same here
I'm tying to get nicer and bigger buttons for my fat fingers on my Orbit/Artemis, if anyone has links to how to do this that would be great!

its the best working skin for artemis.
icons of call history works perfect.
the only problem that i have is that when i'm on a call, the white letters of the person that i call and the duration of the call going to a deep green color that with the gray backround its hard to see it.
does anyone know something?
delimari,
Yes, I have the same problem but I can live with it. Try asking webpatrick to change the letters' colours - if you are succesful I will apply it too!

hey wheres this located at if you dont mind? Thanx in advance
I'd be curious to find this setting too...
I've had lock up issues with RC09, RC08, and still even on RC07.
Nothing like having to tear through my hard case, and remove the battery to end a phone call....
Not sure what version this one is, but under settings>general>options
there is a check box for global system skinning. I turn this off and its way more stable.
I am having a problem however with settings and sync under control panel not being mapped properly, it was the same in rc08. Anyone know how to remap them to the correct location?
In order to do that.... look for "settings.lnk" and "activesync.lnk" under /windows/start menu/ and copy them to /windows on your phone. Rename "activesync" to just "sync.lnk" and you'll be golden.

There 's also a regedit option to solve this as well. (but its six & one-half dozen in the other)
edit: If you're interested in doing the regedit ...do this:
Navigate to HKCU-->Software-->e-Natives-->SmartToolkit-->edit the key "cpanel_items"
the original will look like this: \windows\settings.lnk[]\windows\profiles.exe[]\windows\sync.lnk
you'd change it to this: \windows\start menu\settings.lnk[]\windows\profiles.exe[]\windows\start menu\ActiveSync.lnk[]
.........changes are in BOLD

Once again my man comes through with flying colours!!
Will see how it behaves on my BJ II i-617, as you mentioned Dermann in your email, you never had any issues with it mis-behaving for you on Ejoya's Bogart 6.1 Roms, and your beloved BJ I- i-607...lol
As I am utilizing the black_bar scheme, (with grey colour theme), this should look great!
Oh well, I won a 'moral victory' in finally locating the file for D/L...lol
Unfortunately, it did not work on my device...no biggie as applied a 'alpha-dial cheat sheet'. cab which overrides the semi-ugly AT&T branded graphic on the top....
So I can either utilize the 'cheat sheet' or turn 'vanity dialing' option on...they both serve their purpose, and I have a slightly more 'reserved gui' here...lol

WVGA Default WM 6.5 dialer skin
Hey guys,
after you helped me with a lot of things on my Touch HD and giving me the possibility to use the potential of this nice device even better, i wanted to give something back.
I edited some image files of the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 dialer (just WVGA) and thought I could share them with you.
I did just some basic image editing to fit better with my current phone style.
Hope you like it!
Installation:
Just install the attached cab to your WVGA device and Soft-Reset
Excellent, thanks! Gr8 skin
Just had to change following: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin\Enabled = 0'
for some reason, call list is blank- any ideas?

PocketShield has a fix for this issue. You must change \Skin\Enabled=1 and then change it back via PocketShield settings.

Wonderful...
What it takes to install? 6.5? or it could be done on 6.1
Just yesterday i was looking at the designers themes for the Diamond
and thinking... It would be wonderful if someone could port these for
the excalibur...
btw... I'm not sure about this, but judging from the screen shots i saw the time bar on those themes is in the middle of the list and I was wondering if the same thing is doable in excalibur as well...
thank you
And just one more thing to note... is it just me or that T-Mobile UK is fighting bout pixel autonomy with the clock...
Other than that i looooooove this badass design...
