Help, sms pack loads contacts but when try to filter categories it refuses. It used to work but now won't. Any ideas? Any place to download it and re-install. Using Ricky v24 vanilla and don't want to reinstall whole rom. Thanks all.

The one from WM6 you mentioned is not really complete. I give you one Jeyo SMS Backup installer which you have to install onto device memory and make the utility appears in Messaging menu also.
What exactly does it add to the Messaging Menu?
Would it be worth doing a full implimentation in the Rom or is having the .exe enough?

Having the EXE is plenty I would imagine. ****, we're lucky you're embedding that (in my opinion)!

The shotrcut to the features of making Backup/Resotring the SMSes. It's better for the stand alone installer as it give it's full features but the shortcut you'd integrated in the WM6 menu is enough for the task really.

am on universal .. wm 6.1
i have chained sms here.. i like it to be saved as chained sms (all sms from one contact in one section alongwith my replies to him/her) i want to save it on my pc to read laterz too in txt file.. any software plz to help me get the sms backup in text file? preferably in chained sms format.

alas i installed it in my universal running on 6.1 and the result.. when i click on Text Message: 1 Unread
it doesnt even open the Messages section.. all other programs are working well.. even from Start menu it does nothing on clicking Messaging.. Situation is the same even after uninstalling this software..

Hi,
I have installed the Kavana ROM and when I try and run the Gmail Java App the bottom of the screen is cropped so the menus don't show fully.
Any way to get round this?

Try to install the latest version of Ricky's Rom which is the version 23. I will post the link up for you.

When I flashed to Kavana the first time I had to do the following additional steps listed here because my ROM was the T-Mobile one:

Na just run auto.bat and it should be fine. If it does not work then reflash with the original Tmobile Rom, use SDA unlock after reflashing with original rom, and then reflash the new rom I posted. But give it a shot with the rom I posted to see if it works.
Also, to receive messages (picture) messages do this ok, because you will not be able to receive messages or surf the internet if you have the internet plan until you configure your phone. Yes just download that rom, from the T-mobile website. So did it work?
OK installed ROM but same problem occurs with the GMail Java Applet where it gets truncated at the bottom.
Any ideas what else I can try?
Umm... where did you download this application... Give me the link and I can check it out, I might have to modify the settins (resolution on it)

Went to www.gmail.com/m from the PDA browser and then selected Get Faster Mail at the top. The only problem is you can only see the problem once you log in to a Gmail account from the applet.
Ok I will check it out and download it to my phone, I will pm or post here by tomorrow evening okay. I might have to edit the registry to fix it.

I am running v23 with Opera.. and still see the same problem of cropping the menu and lower portion of screen of gmail app. Screen seems to expand at the last moment while rendering inbox, with some font display distortion as well.

Yep that is the same problem I have (tried Ricky's and Kavana's - no joy)
Do you guys notice the screen also expand when you first open JavaVM? All of the application icons become fuzzier. Maybe it's a setting in JBed that's causing this. Obviously not one we can manipulate through menus, unfortunately.

2) I am pretty confident I got everything down to detail on how to flash my Dash, but when I unzip the Tegic or the Surr.Net.App.Unlock... they do not unzip them but just copies the files as they are in the zip format to the folder I chose. Hi, I was searching for a way how to migrate my data from old Dutty 3.9XT WM6.1 ROM to new Dutty WM6.5 Manilla 2.5 ROM and I am not able to find any working solution, not even a discussion about it.
I tried SPB backup 2.02 which I sucesfully used before on WM6.1 ROMS, but when I import my old system settings, SMS, Program Files, Contacts etc. Touchflo 2.5 constantly crashes, there are no SMS and no contacts. When I tried to upgrade just SMS and contacts, I got contacts working, but no SMS.
Am I doing something wrong, or its just not possible to copy my old data to new TF2.5 and WM6.5?

But I will loose all other data except some documents, that could be backed other way, contacts, emails and SMS? I believe that myhome doesnt back up HTC specific stuff like RSS feeds, stock market info, facebook asociations etc. Or am I wrong?

Hi All - flashed to the CHristian WM6.5 clean image and running great. I cannot stand the built in dialer in this image (same as out of box X1 dialer). Does anybody have a good dialer for 6.5 that will work properly on this phone? I tried a couple I found online but they wouldn't install or didn't come up properly. Thanks in advance!

Hi there - i tried the above but it came up in a grey skin and wouldn't integrate with my outlook contacts.. reset and everything. Maybe it wasn't compatible with the 6.5 build I have?
Had to do a hard reset to get rid of the dialer.. strange it wouldn't reinstall. Any other dialer add ons? The dialer in the Valkyrie rom was nice but that ROM isn't very stable for me.
