I have LSVW WM6 on my MDA Vario II and I was looking for T-Mobile tsk theme. I've installed some customization cab from T-Mobile's ExtROM, which set up a bunch of custom applications, but NO theme. :/ Also, it screwed up the dialer - it looks like **** now (there are little pink backgrounds around each dialer button).
Is there any chance to restore original WM6 dialer, or do I need to install a new one from scratch?
Look here, many choice of dialer.

Installing new skin (T-Mobile's) made things even worse, as PIN-pad became completely blank. Fortunately I was able to uninstall that skin.
However, I've found a solution. Registry key: HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin has two subkeys: DIALER and PROGRESS. I've renamed both of them, reset device and... voila. Original WM6 video-call-enabled skin is back!
Thanks!!!!
I lost the original dialer-background while testing some other.... now it's back
Hi
I am with DUTTY 3.9 TURBO rom.
I'm trying to get the manila to go landscape WITHOUT the dialer to rotate.
I've tried dutty's EnableManilaLansdcape addon cab but the dialer rotates.
I've tried using Change screen to put CPROG to exception but still no luck.
cPROG is not in the WhiteList in the registry.
Can some one explain me step-bystep what to do to get this correct?
anyone?
I am willing to do Hard reset if some can give me the step-by-step guide on how to do this
I have searched extensively for a working phonepad/keypad for use within a cooked ROM, I currently have Donsolari's Sense 2.5 ROM installed (which is great), but im missing the use of a phonepad/keypad for SMS input.
Does anyone have a working keypad/phonepad that can be installed on a cooked ROM?
I have seen the EZinput 2.1, I have installed the CAB, but I cant seem to get a keypad working, I just have the touch qwerty keyboard as the only input option
Cheers

Is that intended to be installed on top of the EZInput 2.1 or on top of the standard keyboard within the ROM?
Managed to get the keypad working, 2 minor glitches.
Normally you can press and hold for the number above the button, but that doesnt seem to work in this case.
I also get the 'The file 'EZinputsettings' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found' when attempting to access the settings within locale & text.
I have encountered this with a few components of the cooked ROMs, is there a fix to get rid of the error message?
Many thanks for your help and great work by all the chefs on the cooked ROMs
I am using a Touch Diamond for some days now.
I applied Don Salaris ROM to it with original programs and Tachi Dialer.
The details are as below.
Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional
CE OS-5.2.21889 Build 21893.5.0.90
ROM Version - DonSalari ROM WWE
Rom Date-03/08/10
Radio Version-1.00.25.05
I have added programs like
FM Radio
Benko286 Arcsoft MMS WM65
Bsb HTCVolumeTachi
Bsb OldNotifications
HTC Teeter by Swtos
DonSalari Tachi Dialer Disabler
Diamond Slide 2 Answer
Knoop Tachi Phone Canvas v2d
xVideoTelephony Diamond Swtos
My friends, kindly clarify me the below rather stupid doubts
1. What is the Windows 6.5.x ROM, can it be used on my Diamond. If so, which one is the latest and lite ROM suitable
2. On my dialer while in a call, I get a slide screen, which is very uncomfortable to switch on speakerphone while driving. I tried inserting the Registry key EnabelSlider with Dword 0 in the HTC Phone and Extended settings part, but no use. Pls help me to remove the Slider curtain. The dialer is used so that I can call from All people list.
Expect a helping reply at the earliest

1. Yes, to many try them for yourself.
2. Try this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=136270&d=1228950683
Bro, thanks for that quick reply, I installed the cab but still the slider curtain remains. Don't know what to do.
Can someone put some more light to this pls.
Anyone pls clear on my doubts too.

Manilla 2.0 with weather fix added. You need goto [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Weather\0]
Edit the Following:
"LocationCode"="YOUR ZIP HERE"
"Location"="THE NAME OF YOUR TOWN"
So that you will have your local weather. You need to update your weather manually from your weather tab, and in about 15mins your home screen will update. If you want I can make a cab file with your weather information so u just need to install it and be good to go, just post your zip and city, or pm me your info and I'll post a cab for you. Here it is let me know what your all think. Special thanks to LMiller for the weather regedit information.

You will need your Carrier Cab. If anyone needs a link to these let me know.
You MUST have A Radio Version of 3.42.30+ for this ROM to work
Special thanks goes out to LMiller for his Manilla Oem and his help with getting me started, and to Justpctech from ppckitchens, and Wooptiewoous for some reg tweaks and internet boost.
**I'm Not Responsible for you Device**
Thanks for this new rom!
Can we have some description of what's included and excluded? and some screenshot if possible? (If it's any different from the others.. )
Nice ROM!
Clean, Fast, but a little more info needed from your install
1) Install Carrier Cab
2) Install MortScript 4.2-PPC
3) Install CDMA Weather Fix
4) Reboot
5) Install SMS Timestamp Fix
This is what I had to do for Sprint and I was getting an MSCR error on first boot until I installed Mort Script.
Otherwise, nice rom as far as speed.
Even though it is a 'Lite' rom - I'd definitely recommend adding
Mortscript 4.2
Advanced Config 3.3
PIM Backup - Latest
Please screenshot & info about Ur firmware!
I can give a general info on what's installed.
Office 2010 mobile
.Net framework 3.5
Total Commander
PHM Regedit
Manila 2d Configurator
Internet Sharing
Couple other minor utilities and I think Swype input is installed
Pretty basic Rom, no games included.
Sorry guys, been on travel and thought I'd have time to spend on the rom and everything, but had to work more than expected. This is a pretty basic rom. Some people don't like a loaded rom, and want to be able to customize it by adding what they want, so that's what this rom is for.
The rom includes:
sys 23569
Manilla 2.0.19191432.04
1 Calculator
Total Commander
PHM RegEdit
SpbScreenShot
Net Config
sms Date Fix
Rotating Clock instead of Flip Clock
Iphone type text message
ezinput keyboard
4 Column start menu
Swype keyboard
http://winbreak.com/winmo/voguegoodies/
--Carrier CABs.
I'm looking for an even "lighter" lite ROM - I want to find one with as few programs installed as possible. I can install MyPhone, Marketplace, MyPhone, etc... Total Commander is about all I'd want pre-installed, so I can edit registry settings if need be.
Perhaps I should try cooking one, myself? doubtful.
NuAngel
NuAngel, are u looking for the manilla with the weather on the home screen, or regular manilla, or no manilla?

I, myself, am a pure Titanium user, no manila. I keep it simple.
Nu
I'll make one that is completely stripped. The only thing that will be added is the what is needed to make the rom to run.
Here is the link

Sweet, thanks! I just started tinkering, kicking around the idea of my own build. Having a hard time with it though... I'll get there!

Need to send a thanks out to LMiller for his carrier provision program. It is awesome. It allows you to pick your carrier once the phone first boots up, very nice, and Thanks LMiller for your support of the vogue.

Not a problem! And Glad to help!
Make sure you have the newest version HERE!
Next step will be a full auto-installer program!
If you can get an auto installer that would be awesome. Thanks for the new version.
hello
I like the manila with analog clock the most. Can anybody give me a link to a cab file?
Yes this rom is fast and I like it.But am missing the analog clock.
One annoying problem I am facing though.Everytime I reboot the phone, the mscr error pops up although I have installed tmortscript 4.3 beta 15.Is there any way to get rid of this?
I upgraded to the TP2 now, so my vogue cooking days are over. I'm not sure why that keeps popping up on boot up. I thought it was a mortscript error, but maybe it isn't.
Hi
Ok,Thanks for your great work. But before you leave the vogue forum, will you please give me the link to the cab file of manila version with the analog cloc?
I would, but I only have it in OEM for cooking, not a cab file. Sorry.
I have bumped this because it is one of the best ROMs here, and my personal favorite.
Very stable and looks good. Give it a try.
Mike
Thanks, I appreciate the comment.
