I don't know what's happening but " Wrap to Window" doesn't work in word!!, I tried saving the document in office 2007 and 2003 format but it's the same!
any idea?

I'm using at the moment, Schaps 3.57b,
and when I write any document on excel , it can not be read on my computer... the extension is xlsx . And there is no any way to change it to a typical xls format from the hermes.
any ideas?¿

if you have office 2003 on your PC install on your PC computability pack for office 2007 you can download it at MS site (office upgrades)
(or install office 2007 on your PC)
this will solve your problem

If that doesn't do the trick, try Tools > Conversion Settings on ActiveSync.
You may want to make sure that your Excel files are or are not converted on their way through.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend using Pocket Word/Word Mobile or Pocket Excel/Excel Mobile at all, even for reading files, as they don't read most content from most common files - which means that their main potential usefulness was destroyed by MS before it was ever issued. And has remained so. Softmaker Office 2006 reads and writes Excel and Word files in their original form and I use it heavily.
You can get the Textmaker (Word) and Planmaker (Excel) seperately if you want to.
No I'm not promoting either, just recommending.

Having a problem with my Excalibur T-Mobile Dash. When I run office mobile word excel or powerpoint happens nothing...only folders come. I tried to install office mobile 5 and also 6 got in this forum but the error comes like "can't open...... " etc etc. I upgraded and downgraded between Windows MObile 6 and 5. But no result. I can't use either word or excel or prpnt.

If memory serves, Office Mobile v6 only allows you to OPEN Word, Excel, or PPT files and, in my experience, not all of them successfully opened. Office Mobile 6.1 lets you CREATE new Word, Excel or PPT files as well as open them (and, once again, that open thing is spotty).
Office Mobile 6.1 came with my Kavana wm6.1 ROM.

yea to create docs you actually have to import a blank one from your pc and then on the phone modify and save that....
Hi, I installed NRG's 1.7 rom remade by Ricky and stylez a week ago....I guess an application I've installed since then messed something up. Excel, PowerPoint and Word Mobile won't launch from the start menu...they just open up file explorer. The same thing happens if I use celecmd to launch them. The other shortcuts in the Office Mobile menu(OneNote Mobile and Adobe Reader LE) work fine though. Sorry this isn't dev related, but does anyone know how to fix this?
Open up Chome Config show the Office panel and click on them there
It's because there is no blank document if you put a blank document on an navigated to it would be the same.
Weird, first time using Windows Mobile and I assumed these apps would work differently. Thanks!

After upgrading to the official HTC WM6.5 ROM I am experiencing some issues using the 'Save As' functions in Word and Excel Mobile.
I used to be able to use my device to open .docx and .xlsx files and save as .doc and .xls (we don't have Office 2007 at work yet, and can't install compatibility pack as not an Admin).
Now, if in portrait mode, Word and Excel hang as soon as I try to change anything on the screen - in landscape it's not so bad, except that you can't select any other Word or Excel format other than 2007 as the drop-down doesn't work!
Anyone else suffering this and has anyone found a way around it?

Cheers AxlR - tried this and it still does the same - it appears to be a conflict between the HTC onscreen keyboard and the Save As system interface as it hangs as soon as the Keyboard is displayed.

Anyone come up with a way to do this? I've tried various CABs from this forum to map Fn+T to Tab, but they just insert a few spaces after the bullet. I'd like to be able to create multi-level lists. I know they're supported because they can be viewed when synced from the desktop, but does anyone know a way to create them in PowerPoint or OneNote Mobile?
