I like the standard black homescreen of manila tf3d and dont want to change the look. But i would like if the incoming call button on homescreen (under the big clock) would change its colour. So i could see with only 1 short look if a phonecall arrived. Now only the text change, but letters and symbol stay in same white letters. How could i change this? (similar as the SMS or mailbutton: if message arrive symbol change to green colour).
Dont know, maybe already a new theme exist with this feature, but i dont want to change the complete theme. (checked the manila editor thread but could not find solution)
hear, hear
year that would be great
How to indicate when I have a missed call by changing colour of missed call button? Which manila file is responsible for this?
Who knows?
where are the manila experts?

Hi Everybody,
I have an alternate Dailpad Skin on my HTC Wizard installed and everything is ok expect the text color of the
popuped Intellidailer. It have black text on grey ground. Does somebody knows how to chanche the text color?
In the registry I found only the key for the standard text (e.g. last call from ... and so on).
Is it a registry hack or a hack in a .dll file ? Which file is important for the Intellidialer (T-Mobile)?
I cannot find anything in this forum about it.
Thanks

I was just looking for a little advice on how to move some of the items on the sliding panels.
All I want to do is change the order of them, instead of having Missed Calls - Voicemail - Text Messages - Email, I would rather have it as Text Messages - Email - Missed Calls - Voicemail.
What would I need to edit this? What file? Where?
Do I need any specific software or can it be done with something like notepad2?

as far as i know you cant modifiy the order...atleast not yet. I could and proabably be wrong

your right, my bad.
Sorry, but it's not possible to do that with the current knowledge we have of the panels. Maybe later... who knows...
What about getting it to have dark text, or dark graphics? I would really love to be able to do something with some lighter homescreen backgrounds Im working on.

yeah man, goto home screen > Color scheme > Text: black
I Havnt Tested Rickys V9 And Below(but In Version10 For Sure)
In Your Settings-homescreen-color, You Can Select Black Or White Text, I Doubt This Changed The Start Bar Color But I Didnt Pay Attention... (also, Play Around With The Settings And Everything Else On The Phone...i Found Different Clock Options And Im Extremely Happy With This Version!)
could this be added to chome
Im on Ricky's v.4 at the moment, I was wondering what the technical method was of adding the black text, so I could preload it into a color scheme, appropriate to a given default wallpaper, button color, etc.

Hey you, black text? see attachment
extract...you know where it goes
AH, I get it now. I had been meaning to flash when I convenienly frozed my phone. It adds the black (or, white) text to the last picked color scheme. Nice!
Okay, now how do I mod the panels to black, and the icons in the top left corner of each? any starting spot? I didnt find anything that looked like a good lead in the .cpl or the .home...
Thanks, gang.
for the order of items in the panel, this might be useful:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2068381
not sure if this is true for all but whenever I set the text on a theme to 000000 it comes out jagged so i would suggest using 222222 or 111111...dark enough and not jagged.
I'm tempted to make a new thread, but this so seems like the right place. I've got the text themes working. Very well. I now can make my home screen a dizzying mess!
I am sure there is a way to make the panels themselves dark. Is it in a .dll in \windows? I cannot get some of them to copy, like, all the onse I want to pick at. Not that I am sure that my skills with ResHack are up for it. Anyone else interested?
I've got your chomebar.zip, now i am trying to integrate it.
For New Topaz Grey Dialer HD + Diamond 2 go here
could you make it blacker..
yeh I agree

No, is only portrait for now.
Great work, looks much nicer then the original !!!
Thanks for this upgrade
I think that the touchpad that pops up to insert sim's pin at start-up was very nice, so do you think could be possible have one like that to dial?
great job ....
i have a small request may be you can manage ....
is it possible to have exactly this in black but to have the grey bar up to the dialer ( when the dialed number you are taping appears) bigger or increase the size of the numbers to see it better and to mek difference with the already dialed numbers below .... it will be great .....
Where does the quick launch bar come from at the top and also the coloured battery meter?

I made some changes for grey background.
Is it possible to have it in french????
If you give me the maping of letters. (PM please).

Modifying the ugly green highlight seen in post 1
Hey guys
in order to modify this, go to the following registry path:
HKLM \ Software \ HTC \ PHONE\highlightColor = xxxxxx (hex) or xxxxxxx (dec)
You can find the list of HTML color codes and names here
http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm
The values are in hex
Enjoy

There is no hex code, just icons.
Thanks dude this is definitely a very cool improvement over that white very average dialer.
Well done.
May I use EN version on an FR(ench) HTC, without bug or issues ?
Is localization only for labels language, this is OK.
Thanks for your answer
Hello,

somewhere in that thread there is a post that lists the registry settings to add the color of your choice
actually it was on another thread! here you go
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3044590&postcount=4
hope it helps!
thats only for the dialer (phone).. he wants for everything.. .. EVERY highlight/click possible on the phone that comes out green to another color
Does anyone know how to change all the highlights in the menus, messaging etc from green to another colour?
The best way is to edit the mainla files for your touchFLO
You can see how to do this here i have some of mine in red
Just need to finish it off, to see what i have done so far have a look on page 16
thats going to be a pain.. .. even if we can get that to work.. what about all the other parts that are from WinMo and not TouchFlo?
There must be a generic setting for the highlight colour. My Orbit 2 highlights everything in grey.
It's possible.... nobody is able to create a cab that change highlight from green to red? I saw in a forum... no one likes green!
yea.. could someone make a basic cab.. leaving everything the way it is but every green there is into red or blue or any other color we want?..
I thought you could change it with HD Tweak 0.5.4?
Thats only for the dialer not everything.
i vote for a soft purple color!!
Any thing as long as its not disco green!

Hey guys,
I'm trying to make my home screen as "clean" as possible, and I'm wondering if there is a way to remove Call history and/or Calender beneath the clock?
Cheers
I'm searching for this for a while too. I still didn't find anything yet. Hope someone can help us
This could be handy

@Chef Ben
Ok, at the weekend I made a cab for me so I can install the "clean hometab" at my german diamond in one step, it also ereases the dotted line and the arrwos. So before you install my custom cab, you have to uninstall the single cab first.
(Note: with this cab you will also get a transparent clock background)

In the file '7e640092_manila' (xml language file) you can edit/delete the text for the different entries on the hometab. Just open this file with a normal editor and edit/delete the entries (for example Date, text for "blank" callhistory- or calendar-row, not active alarm, ...).
Only the next entry in the calendar-row and the display of an active alarm cannot be changed with this methode.
You also have to know, that this mod only changes the visual appearance and not the "function" of the row, for example if you tab on the now blanked callhistory-row you will still get to the callhistory.

However, I don't know if it's compatible with Blackstone.
ok i've tried it,
all that happens is it removes the dotted lines....
if i get time i'll look at the 7e640092_manila
