Hi everyone, i have been bangin my head for the last hour trying to get the web settings correct for my HTC S621. It is a rogers unlocked model and i am currently using it on fido. I have found a bit of info on what fido's internet settings are but when i input the info under a new GPRS file. The phone still does not connect to the web wirelessly..
Any help wpuld be greatly appreciated. If you need more info from me i can provide that as well.

I got an i-mate PDA2k the other day and need some help. I live in the States and use Cingular as a carrier. I need the GPRS, SMS, MMS Connection Settings and the instructions for creating the settings.
Does anyone have them? I **THINK** I have the right settings but don't know how to make the connections, as I have NEVER had to do this before (this is my first unlocked device purchase...)
I would appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Would those be the Data settings for Rogers Wireless in Canada? Orange in the UK? Vokaphone in Bahrain? Telephonica in Panama?
My apologies it completely slipped my mind, It is for AT&T for the U.S
Hey folks, I just got a Touch Pro 2 for Tmobile and had it unlocked so I am using it on ATT. I cant figure out how to get mms (picts sent to me) or the settings for the internet.
also is there any disadvantage to using a unlocked tmobile phone as opposed to a att tilt 2 ?

You need to get ATT's settings for internet and media (mms) It probably still has the tmobile settings in it.

I need to do this too but as I see it the T-Mobile settings are locked in and cant be edited or added to.
I'm using a TMO TP2 on ATT also...

To answer this question the only one I've found so far is the lack of 3G, you cant get it over AT&T's network b/c of the difference in hardware.

found my answer thanks to a constant searching. I found this file which I believe was made by someone on this forum. http://www.4shared.com/file/36880113/e15673cc/shogun_cing.html?s=1 Its a cab file, I did a hard reset of my device installed it and it hooks up the internet and mms settings on its own. Thanks you who ever made this file.

hi everyone. I just got the htc tilt 2 at&t model, i have unlocked it and now using it with the Telus network. could someone explain to me how to setup the phone to access the internet on the telus netork, it keeps trying to connect to medianet and cant! any help would be great. thanks

You need to find your country's Telus APN settings for GPRS and setup network manually filling in data provided:

Cant help directly as im on T-Mobile but Vodafone seem to provide some quite decent support on their site

yeah ive looked there.all over the vodafone website.cant find support for the defy.
i havent registered my number with vodafone.maybe if i do that they will send me settings.
You shouldn't need the settings sent to you.
If it's a Vodafone locked/branded handset then the settings should be pre-loaded and if it's an unlocked/unbranded handset then it should configure itself automatically when you put the SIM in (that's what my phone did anyway).
If you go into Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access point names, is there anything there?
Your last option would be to manually enter the settings I guess.
