Hey folks, I just got a Touch Pro 2 for Tmobile and had it unlocked so I am using it on ATT. I cant figure out how to get mms (picts sent to me) or the settings for the internet.
also is there any disadvantage to using a unlocked tmobile phone as opposed to a att tilt 2 ?

You need to get ATT's settings for internet and media (mms) It probably still has the tmobile settings in it.

I need to do this too but as I see it the T-Mobile settings are locked in and cant be edited or added to.
I'm using a TMO TP2 on ATT also...

To answer this question the only one I've found so far is the lack of 3G, you cant get it over AT&T's network b/c of the difference in hardware.

found my answer thanks to a constant searching. I found this file which I believe was made by someone on this forum. http://www.4shared.com/file/36880113/e15673cc/shogun_cing.html?s=1 Its a cab file, I did a hard reset of my device installed it and it hooks up the internet and mms settings on its own. Thanks you who ever made this file.

You need to find your country's Telus APN settings for GPRS and setup network manually filling in data provided:

Hey guys, i recently bought a Bell Galaxy S Vibrant, and when i try to put in a sim card with Data 3G, it doesnt not work, the internet does not work! but it will make calls / sms. ANy idea on how to get this to work? do i have to install a rom of some kind? any help is appreciated thanks for looking
Which carrier are you with?
You will need to enter the APN settings in the phone.

just curious. my t-mobile n900 keeps dropping my signal on tmobile and att. i just tried to flash att modem (MJ5) and it said failed. I reflashed t-mobile modem and its working again
but I lose reception all the time and all of a sudden it catches and I get like 10 texts of people asking if my phone is off... this happenned before root or any mod. got it on swappa so no warranty. can someone help?
I odin flashed back to stock and still get signal issues....

It sounds like you are having APN issues, what I would do is call the local
Tmobile store & ask them what APN's to use in your area.
Swappa or not, they will give you the proper APN settings for your phone.
Different areas and or regions in the U.S use different APN
settings in order to get the best signal/data reception.
APN means access point names which you can change and
edit in the phones settings under the network heading.

I can assure you its not the APN. I have a wireless store and this is a modem problem. to the top!

I can relate to what are saying, Im using tmobile Note 3 on att network and would like to flash the att modem on it. I tried the odin way and it failed. I have yet to try to using custom recovery way but I don't think there is any flash-able zips for modem available.
Any help from a dev is appreciated.

Do you know how to read English or just write? Because the link that you posted- besides being pointless and waste of bandwidth-it doesn't help as the process in the thread failed and att modem wasn't installed either by mobile Odin or PC Odin which renders the thread including your rude answer , well again a waste.
If you dont have an answer to give then move on.

Perhaps you simply ran out of data with whatever plan you have on Tmobile.
Or perhaps you should call Tmobile and ask them why you have no data.
You need data to get internet without wifi.
What ever the problem is, it has nothing to
do with the fact that the phone is unlocked.
Set up apns? Stock they will only have att apn you'll need to manually add tmobile and select it
